I've been going here since 2016 and I travel 45+ to get here and at one point it was well over 1 hour. It's been declining since Lily is there less often. Today the younger guy in the front was filing my nails and I said it was burning as he was going very aggressively. He said he wasn't touching my skin. I said I understand but the speed in burning my nail. He says well I don't know what you want me to do!, I said ok no problem and left since he wasn't able to turn the speed down. I have been getting my nails done every 2 weeks for over 20 years I'm not stupid. Good nail techs are hard to come by which is why I absolutely LOVE this nail salon because they have never fell short when it came to doing nails. Also they are one of the reason I miss living in Chicago. I enjoy getting my nails done and some places are hit or miss but every time I go, there is always someone that can do the design I want and I don't feel rushed when I'm getting my service even if they are super busy. Always rude, Always quick to make his money but when you come back two days later to get something fixed he makes you wait and I can see that it isnt busy and there are ladies available. I thought this was my new spot, I was blown away the first time. Well I went back for a fill in on Friday and fresh polish. I thought it might be a little less $ since the design was simpler, less than half of the colors, nails shorter and it was a fill in... wrong. They charged me damn near $100 more than the first time. They didn't even advise me before the service. Had I known I wouldn't have gotten the nails but in every scenario at every salon i've gone to if for whatever reason it isn't less it's at least what I paid for a full set. I also only went with the intention of only doing my nails but they ushered me to the pedicure chair. Even though I said no they were prepping the station so I felt bad refusing again. I got one last time too and again, I figured the price would line up but it didn't. Pretty disappointed. The work is still great but the fluctuation of prices based on how they feel is bs. I love my nails!!!! Surprised at all the bad reviews. I went in with my sibling today & made an appointment for the same day. My sibling got a no-chip full set with a design on two nails. They look INCREDIBLE! And I got a simple no chip mani & pedi+massage. The staff is really kind and they take COVID safety seriously. I got my mani pedi done by Amy, she was SO SWEET! And she paid so much attention to detail. My nails are short and she did a wonderful job. My sibling got their full set with Yang and he was really nice and I've never seen such a nice set of acrylics. The shaping was done so well and the painting was beautiful. They were both really nice people. We will be coming back & I'm gonna bring my friends!!! They prefer cash only & tips in cash too. Like many others have stated, this place does great work. However, they get a 1 star due to majority of them being snakes. I've been there about 5 times and every time I come it seems like I'm being charged different pricing for the same exact service. Today I went in to get a soak off and full set just to walk to the front and be charged $56. I said "I thought a full set was $35?" the man at the front points to the back of him at a sign that says "$35 & up". Wtf does "& up" consist of? Mind you everything on the back board says "& up". So I say "So you mean to tell me my soak off was $21?" He goes "Your nails were $45 and your soak off is $11". Honestly I didn't have time to argue with him. I'm pregnant and just was ready to leave. I give him my card and say I'm going to give the lady that did my nails a $8 tip. He goes "$11" I go "No, $8." He says "Well, what about the other lady who helped soak them off?" Ummm, you mean the woman that just put some warm alcohol in a bowl for me to sit with my hands in for 30 minutes? She deserves a tip?! He sat there and went back and forth with me for 5 minutes. Avoid at all costs. You will wait forever to get your nails done if you do not show up at opening. I got my nails done the day before Christmas Eve (full set) and one of my nails broke not even 24 hours after getting them done. It literally just broke off and I wasn't doing anything with my nails that day. Couldn't go into the salon until the day after Christmas because they were closed. I asked for my nail to be repaired and they wanted to charge me $5 for one nail like what? Their work quality is so low that my nail broke not even a day after and they still wanted to charge me to fix something they didn't do right. They could care less that you leave satisfied with your nails, they're just power hungry for money. So if you notice my nails I need to get them filled it's been four weeks I haven't had time to go but not one rhinestone has fallen out. I go on a Thursday or a Monday and I see one tech she charges only what I get done if I get no chip solid color it's $42 if you bling em obviously it's more. I never had an issue there. A lot of people want all these designs or rhinestones but Complain about the cost if you don't have the money then don't do it or ask before the tech starts. If I could give a 0 star review, I really would. The pamphlet that they give you for the services they offer states that a no chip pedicure is 38 dollars. I walked in and didn't wait longer than 10 minutes to get seated for my pedicure which was great. I got a no chip pedicure with overlay on the big toes and French tip. The total ended up coming out to 73 dollars. That's 35 dollars extra. I understand charging for the overlay since they use acrylic but that's about 2-3 dollars per toe. French tip is not that expensive either. This place rips you off. I suggest asking for the price beforehand bc the owner, the one that greets whoever comes in and charges at the counter, he's def charging more than he should. They also don't provide cleaning of the cuticles when doing any services which is like wtf? if they're painting your nails wether that be gel, acrylic, no chip ... part of the service is cleaning the cuticles. and as most people on here have stated, it's a different price all the time for the same service and they force you to tip the amount that THEY want. read more

I got a French no chip and I really like it. The nail technician really took his time to get the shape that I wanted and he painted them well. I think I would come back to this salon. Their prices are pretty similar to every other nail salon I've been to. I paid 31 for the no chip French design. Rushed service !! They maybe good at fake nails and manicures , but they lack luster in pedicures. They did not soak my feet for more than 4 minutes , which i believe was the cause of the dry skin still left on my feet !. The girl didnt even exfoliate properly, and was doing some weird hitting thing on your leg .
