I had started the job myself but got an anchor screw stuck and figured I should have a pro step in so I didn't wreck my new walls. All the supplies were here, placed where they needed to be, holes were measured and marked for custom made rods and drapes. He charges by the hour and moves very, very slow. He didn't have his own step ladder or anchor screws. In the first hour, he managed to put in 3 screws in holes that had already been marked. He claimed he "needed to remeasure" and that's why it took so long, but he used the holes that I had already marked. He also said it was too hard to do with custom cut rods. He also said it wasn't his fault because I had an anchor screw stuck in the wall already, which was the whole reason I hired him. This is what pros do: they come prepared, know the required materials and techniques, and advise the customer on the best way to proceed. I knew we needed to cut it off when he asked me how to use an anchor screw. He didn't know if you needed to pre-drill or not for a very basic and common anchor. I cannot imagine a professional handyman not knowing that. He used a level to stare at the pre-marked holes for what seemed like an eternity, just eating up time. 3 screws = $200. Seems like a nice enough man, but handyman may not be the profession for him, and that's giving him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't just trying to take advantage of someone he assumed was too naive too know how long the job should take. He became very defensive, making excuses when I said we'd need to end the job at one hour. Im sure judging by other less than 5 star reviews here (that I really wish I'd have taken the time to read) he will post a very defensive response here as well. Please just don't take a job you don't have the required expertise to complete, and I don't want to hear defensive excuses when I'm still out $200 for almost no work completed.

Both of them were personable, professional, and clearly very experienced. Before the installation, Tim helped me choose the right size TV for my room and my particular needs. Tim also took the time to explain the equipment, which I really appreciated. The quality of the work was excellent, and the entire experience was extremely positive. I couldn't be happier with the service and highly recommend Revelation Services!

The first thing of note was how good Patrick's quote was when he sent it to me. His pricing was fair, and his detail and thorough approach to making a proposal were top notch. Everything was in it...including diagrams and photos. He does a complete breakdown of labor and hardware costs so you can tell what you are getting for your money. If, like me, you are providing the cameras or NVR, he helps you understand where your part ends and his begins. He also was very quick to get back to me and keep in contact as I was making my decision between him an other vendors. In the end, obviously I went with Patrick...and his price was not the lowest in fact. His professionalism was what tilted me in his direction. We made a few adjustments to the proposal so by the time he came in, there were almost no details left to work out. That is always a good sign. I'm very glad I made that decision. Hey and Indy did a great job taking care of our home as they worked. The camera's went up and they look as they they were originally a part of the house design. The doorbell also looks original. My condo came with a high-end home sound system that was top-of-the-line... about 20 years ago , which created some challenges in figuring out how to make older equipment work with modern TVs and technology. Rather than simply telling me to replace everything, he took the time to understand the existing system and came up with creative solutions. What I especially appreciated was that he gave me a two-tier approach: an affordable, practical solution that got everything working beautifully now, while also explaining what I could do in the future if I want to fully restore and maximize the potential of the original home theater system. There was absolutely no pressure to spend more than I wanted to. He got everything installed, mounted, connected, and working on a very tight timeline. Knowledgeable, honest, creative, and genuinely focused on finding the right solution for the customer. Highly recommend!

He was very nice and worked very quickly and efficiently but he needed my help to lift our 77" TV. I do not blame him at all for asking for my help, but I am terribly disappointed he was sent by himself. I politely expressed my disappointment in the price I paid with his company expecting me to help him. He was very apologetic and threw in a cable concealing package which was incredibly thoughtful. I'm writing this review because I was not supposed to be home when the mounting was scheduled. My disabled spouse was going to be the only person here. Had I not been sent home from work early the technician wouldn't have been able to do the service at all! I'm not sure if it was a choice to send one technician from the start or someone didn't show up for work, either way, this should have been rescheduled so the service could be completed as it was paid for. In summary, the mount was adequately done and the technicIan was incredibly professional- his company was not. This review would have been 1 star if it were not for his character.
