First time in to cluckers close to home so i decided I'd try it out now it's a small place but it's clean bright and cheerful with the colors the two ladies working the front counter were friendly polite and very helpful when o asked questions. I got the original chicken sandwich upon my first visit to Cluckers. The lady at the front desk was incredibly nice, and helped me order for my first visit. She recommended the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, but I thought I would try the original first, so I can compare the spicy one later on. She asked if I wanted fry sauce with my food! I have never heard of anyone asking that before. I assumed it was just ketchup and Mayonnaise, but it was amazing, and it went great with the sandwich and the fries. The food was so delicious. It was everything you would want from a chicken sandwich joint. Was it better than a chicken sandwich at Jack In The Box? Most definitely. Was it better than a chicken sandwich you get at Crazy D's? First time there for fried chicken. I ordered the Korean, and the Supreme chicken sandwich, as well as the wings and fries. They give a very generous amount of fries, but they are quite mediocre. What my girlfriend and I really liked was the Korean sandwich. It was really good. The Supreme sandwich lacked any distinguishing flavor. To be fair, they did provide sauces on the side in case you want to add to the sandwich. The wings were very good. Definitely hit my fried chicken needs well, though I cant say I was wow'ed. Attended the soft opening this evening. Ordering was a breeze from the order window just inside the door of Press Start who Cluckers shares a building with. The staff was helpful explaining the different menu items available. The gentleman taking my order also was smiling and kind. We tried the Spicy Clucker and the Fried Pickles. The Clucker was spicy and cooked well. Slightly salty to my tastebuds but not to my daughter's. The fried pickles were gone with in a matter of minutes. There are three choices of sauces: ketchup, fries sauce, and ranch. Seating is available inside Press Start and appears outdoor seating may be available at a later date. Might have found the best fried chicken sandwich in Reno! I have friends who have said this place is up there with Chick-fil-A and I agree. This new fried chicken restaurant is attached to the arcade bar, Press Start. You can order through a window in Press Start or come in through their main entrance where there are a few indoor tables to sit. The chicken is made to order and comes out cooked perfectly with just the right amount of breading. You don't need a large menu when you are able to perfect the items you do have! There are five different sandwich options to choose from, each one unique with a different flavor profile. I got the spicy chicken sandwich which has a good amount of spice that catches up to you at the end! Each entree comes with a huge amount of hand cut fries. You get your choice of dipping sauce, they have a fry sauce that tastes like a mix of ketchup and ranch. The serving sizes are very generous. We also got the fried pickles which are hand breaded! They were so good paired with the ranch. There are some restaurants where you try their ranch and it is noticeably better than typical ranch you have--this is one of those places! The only downside of the friend pickles were that the togo box was covered in grease from these by the time I got home which made it pretty messy to eat. The hours are currently Wednesday to Saturday from 11:30am to 8pm. They are hoping to add Tuesday soon once they get some more staff. I can't wait to see what else this business does in the future! I agree with another Yelper who suggested them adding chicken tenders to the menu, but they do at least have wings for now to offer something other than sandwiches. When looking for a quick meal, stop here to support a local business instead of opting for lower quality fast food chains...you won't be disappointed! read more

Tried this place a few times during their soft opening. The first time my wife and I shared a Cowboy Clucker sandwich and it was definitely the best fried chicken sandwich I have had in Reno and I'd be hard-pressed to remember a better chicken sandwich that I've eaten in a restaurant anywhere. The batter was perfectly crispy and the chicken was very juicy and flavorful. The bacon + sauce all complemented one another very well. The second time we visited my wife and I shared an order of chicken wings and some fried pickles. Both were excellent and worth the price, although not exactly something I would go out of my way to eat again just by personal preference. The third time we again split a Cowboy Clucker because of just how good it was the first time. This time, it was a disappointment. The chicken and bacon were a little dry. Still an enjoyable sandwich, but compared to the first effort, I was disappointed. It was close to closing, so perhaps this chicken had been sitting for some time and the previous sandwich was freshly made? Not sure, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt and look forward to their full opening. Each time we ate the fries with fry sauce. Really the biggest attraction is the arcade press start that it's located in. Last time it was there the service was super friendly and super excellent. I will usually just get some french fries which is on I really want But they still treat me like a big time customer. It's nice that you can take the food and go sit at the bar.
