We shared: - Mango Passion Donut - La Donna (Raspberry & Black Currant) Donut - Calamansi Meringue Donut They were all fantastic. I couldn't pick a favorite because I loved them all. I'd say these are in the top 5 donuts that I've ever had. I was trying to have a slight amount of self control, but there were at least 3 more that I wanted to try. If I lived nearby, I'd be here all the time. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

It's colossally big and very, very easy to chew on without needing something hot and wet like coffee or tea. But I do think it would be better with a drink. What I've also noticed is that they really prioritize the decorations on the donuts, and I think that also brings out their peak service. I was served during the Governors Ball where there were a lot of people and a lot of vendors. They handled their service very well. I couldn't tell you the exact location of the place because it was a vendor, but I assume it's probably somewhere I would conveniently go to. I definitely wanna go to the Brooklyn location.

There's usually a line to buy donuts but they have tons of women working behind the counter in their retro smocks, filling orders & slinging pastries. Cash Only! No credit cards or mobile payments accepted. They do have an ATM onsite if you don't have cash on you (not that rare these days - I've been caught lacking here from time to time...). Perhaps the greatest quote ever to sum this place comes from the inimitable Tina Fey who discovered the treats here years ago & had this say @ Peter Pan: "The best doughnut? That's Peter Pan doughnuts in Brooklyn... It's a white-cream-filled powdered doughnut. And I really believe, when I first tried it, if I had a penis, I would put it in this doughnut. I finally understand what you guys are thinking about and what motivates you guys." She's not wrong...

Their donuts are always fresh, they take cash only in store, but their donuts are so cheap, but never in quality. Depending on the type of donut you get, it may cost a bit more, but a GREAT price point. This place really is a gem in Brooklyn.

I remember every Halloween, I looked forward to stopping here bc they gave out donuts too! This spot always hits your cravings, from sweet to savory. I usually go for a classic bacon & egg on a roll. On this visit, I called ahead and asked for salt, pepper, ketchup, but it didn't seem like they added it to my sandwich, unfortunately. This spot even has burgers, chicken sandwiches, TACOSS, and literally any diner-esque dishes you're craving. No-frills spot. I do question their cleanliness at times, but as long as I don't see anything sus, I'll enjoy my food!! Lol Classicc diner spot, with food slightly too greasy and too salty, but it's satisfying nonetheless. And did I mention that it's open 24 hours!? LOVE THAT!!

So so chewy your jaw will have to get to work; i can see how some ppl wouldn't like it bc it's too chewy and dense but i loved it rating: 4/5 - if i take into consideration of the whole menu, this would probably be 3/5 but since i always just get the scallion pancake and pastries, and they have consistently been delectable, it's a solid 4! - i just love the texture and flavor a lot especially the xia - the ambiance is super hippie and chill; it's a perfect spot for breakfast and quick bites; they also got this bar section with a tv playing old school films giving retro vibes - their pastries were all delicious with some unique selection - service has consistently been amazing; workers there were all happy and chill vibes - definitely give it a try but start from the xia and pastries for sure IG: @nom.noms.only

But this review is about something bigger than dessert. The strawberry cheesecake here reminds me of my mom. It was her favorite, and it was one of the last desserts I got to share with her. Anytime she wanted a sweet treat, that's what she asked for. Ordering it now keeps me connected to her. This past July, on her 3rd birthday in heaven, I placed an order to celebrate her. The menu only had cherry cheesecake that day, so I wrote a note explaining what the strawberry meant to me. The staff didn't just make it happen, they sent an extra slice of strawberry cheesecake on top of it. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare. The people here have always been this kind. We love everyone who works there, and we're grateful for the small moments of care they've shown our family. Thank you for everything.
