I had to cancel my cleaning due to food poisoning. They charged me $75. They have canceled my cleanings day of roughly 4 times now due to lack of hygienists at their location. I do not recommend this dental office at all especially if you have fears when it comes to dental work. I have been putting off my dental work for years and u mean like 10 years. I researched multiple offices and decided to try cloud dental.first impressions everyone is very nice and welcoming. I have a terrible fear of needles thanks to many many bad experiences. I told the nurse and doctors about this and this is why I wanted to be put to sleep for all the work I needed and it was very important that ALL the work could be done in one visit. I ended up needing crowns and some fillings. That's fine, the doctor also told I should get implants for the places that I had teeth removed. I asked so this all can be done in one appointment, he said yes. He highly recommended it because I won't need to come back as often as well. Ok we signed up for a loan and scheduled the surgery. 3 weeks later I go in, get put under and wake up to temporary crowns on pretty much all my upper teeth and 2 of my bottoms. I WAS NEVER EVER EVER told I would have temps on never told I would need to come in multiple times after this appointment to get more work done. So because of my dental fear I put the temporary crown removal off for a couple weeks. Once I did go in to get them off while the DR was removing one of the temps with his hand in my mouth he said " we did not think you were going to come back, we were going to keep your crowns and your money" And when I asked him so will I need to be numbed up for the implants to be placed he said yes. This doctor completely ignored my fears and concerns, did not explain what the procedure would require and did not ask if I was comfortable with it. My son needed his wisdom tooth pulled ASAP, he woke up with toothache on Monday, We went to see my dentist and She referred him to Cloud dental for the procedure, I called them at 8am on Tuesday, they told me to bring my son around 11, by 1 pm they started the extraction and by 3pm he was on his way home. Dr Hooman Z was so good, caring and patient, he talked to my son, gave him options and Sebas made the choice to get the procedure done. he was so nervous but he told me he didn't feel any discomfort when they were pulling all his wisdom tooth. The office was running a special to get the 4W pulled so we saved some money. I love how dentists work together and they have high standards. My doctor, Sarah B, has her office at Austin group dental specialty and she was kind to refer me to one of her trusting colleagues. Best choice, amazing service and fast results. Cloud dental was a life saver getting my dental implants. I've had trouble with my incisors all my life resulting in me needing two implants to replace them. Not only were they able to heal and correct a failed implant I had from a previous dental surgeon but they were also able to install a new one that fixed my smile. I've been going here for around two years or so now and after my routine cleanings, for my 24th birthday, I decided that I wanted to get braces and opted for their "six month smiles" program. It take take me 9 months- but that was explained at the very beginning because of the way my teeth were set so I knew what to expect I just got my braces removed today and I'm SO happy with the results!! A week after 25 and I'm feeling so much more confident and actually WANT to smile in photos. It is as difficult to select a cosmetic dentist. One has to submit themselves to evaluations from multiple dentists and scour the internet to get a picture of what is available and at what cost. Be sure to include Cloud Dental on your list before you make a decision. I will say their pricing was a relief. In addition, some thought was put into the recommendations (as opposed to just replacing all of my teeth with 1 on 4 implants, which would have been somewhat cheaper). I am in the process of restoration of 23 teeth (basically whole mouth). I get to keep one tooth as is. So far I have had 18 crowns and 5 implants placed. The implants will be crowned in two months. I have been extremely happy with the process. In my opinion Dr. Samani has superior competence based on education, technical knowledge and equipment. He uses an excellent anesthesiologist (Dr. David Williams, Texan AA) who comes to his office for general anesthesia, if needed. Based on my research, he takes no shortcuts and provides the best materials without prompting. All of my crowns are made from zirconia. He even fitted a zirconia temporary bridge (in lieu of acrylic which fails frequently) for use while my implants are healing. There have been no surprises in the billing or procedures. Staff is friendly and very professional. If you need cosmetic dentistry, do yourself a favor and get a free evaluation from Cloud Dental. read more

Do not go to this dentist. I came in with a very painful infection in my gums. Apparently, a tooth had died. The doctor immediately wants remove it, found out that it didn't need to be removed all I needed was a root canal. To add insult to injury he refused to give me antibiotics which would have killed the infection and allowed me to at least not experience pain until I went to another dentist. The dentist I want to after him couldn't understand why he didn't give me antibiotics instead of just prescribing Tylenol 3. Either this guy's a hack or had an issue with me personally. read more

I found this place to be a nice and easy going when I first started as a patient. Ran into a problem with a product that was sold to me ( a mouthguard that should last years) that only lasted about 6 months! Called and was told to bring it back in and they would fit me for a new one, at no charge the receptionist informed me. WRONG! Came in to be told by LAURA ( office manager) that the person I spoke to had no idea what she was talking about, and that I would have to pay for another one. I told her I was not going to pay for a product that only lasted me 6 months verses the 6 to 7 years the last mouthguard lasted me. After trying to go above her head to try and get the matter resolved, she simply told me to not come back to the office. stated I was no longer a good fit for the office. They are nice as long as you do not question them on why they will sell you garbage then refuse to stand by what they sold you. read more

I started here last year and my oral health is better than ever. I got Krystal as my hygienist and working with her this past year, its not just an appointment but almost like visiting a good friend... at the dentist. She's pretty thorough in her technique and what really gets me is her post appointment education, homework so to speak. She taught me the nuances to really get the most out of my brushing and maintaining my oral health. I've really changed how I take care of my teeth as a result and my teeth and gums feel better. Dr. Samani and his team are wonderful to work with. They are pleasant and professional and they put you at ease as soon as you walk in the door. The office is clean and inviting and if you didn't see the sign...you would never guess you were at a dental office. There is a nice scent upon entering and you can help yourself to a tea or coffee while you wait (if at all). They are timely and respectful when it comes to your schedule. Dr. Samani is very laid back and personable making it easy to discuss any of your concerns. I've only had two small procedures and both have been so easy in the sense that they were short and painless. He is very good at communicating what is happening, what is next, and is good at checking on you for any pain or discomfort. He fixed a little chip on my tooth in addition to some other work that he was performing just because (and not for any upcharge). He will go out of your way to make sure your teeth are as beautiful as they are healthy. His hygienist is fantastic as well. She even gave me a mini massage around the jaw line. It really pains me to have to leave a negative review for this dentist office. I really wanted to like it- the dentist seems very nice and made me feel much better about my anxiety of seeing a dentist. His attitude is why I left 2 stars rather than the 1 I originally wanted to. On the other hand, however, his office staff really needs to work on their communication skills. I saw the dentist back in the first couple days of may. All he did then was take some x-rays and said he would do my cleaning that I requested when I had to come in for the rest of the work I needed. After paying $140 for some pictures... I wait. The secretary said they would have to submit a preauthorization with my insurance, which normally takes about 10 business days, before I could be seen again. A month goes by without any word, so I give the office a call to see what's going on. At this point, it is around June 2nd or 3rd and I was told that still they had not heard anything back from my insurance and would try to resubmit the pre authorization. After getting off the phone with the dentist office, I called my insurance to see why it was taking them so long to send it through, and I was told that this office did not even submit the pre authorization until 3 weeks after my appointment!!! Why wait 3 weeks?! Especially after the dentist said at least one of my extractions was pretty urgent because I was at risk of losing another tooth if we waited too long... So, back to waiting I guess. Another month goes by, now it's July and I received an approval letter in the mail from my insurance. I call this office yet again to see if they had the information they needed to continue with treatment, and I was told that my claim was I'm fact DENIED IN FULL, BACK IN JUNE. Wait, what? Why wasn't I informed of this before now?! The receptionist said she would try again to re submit with more pictures, then called me no more than 30 minutes later and said that I had been approved for part of the treatments I needed, but would need to pay in full for the rest out of pocket. Or... I could start paying for their personal discount plan. How convenient? I don't know what exactly is going on at this office, but the inconsistent stories and interactions with the receptionist constantly shifting blame to my insurance company and saying they were the reason for all of this made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. So basically, I paid $140 to get lied to for nearly 3 months while I wait around in immense pain.. Thanks for nothing!! read more

This is the best dentist office I have ever visited. Dr. Samani is very nice and personable. Very unlike most stuffy dentists I've dealt with in the past. He seems to care about his patients and not just making money. He even did a small procedure (enameloplasty) that he could have charged for but since it was such a minor chip that he was smoothing out, he did not bother charging. His staff is super nice and since it's a new practice they are able to get you in quickly. This place is awesome and really I'm happy I finally found a permanent dentist. read more

State-of-the-art X-rays, a kind hygienist with a gentle touch, and a TV with Netflix earned my confidence. I took a chance choosing a new dentist when I had an emergency wisdom tooth problem. I could NOT have been more lucky choosing amongst a sea of dentists in Austin. The office/atmosphere is beautiful, calming and filled with friendly, professional staff. I ended up needing a wisdom tooth extraction and the experience was much more pleasant than I expected. I was given a choice to watch tv on a screen above my head, which was a great distraction. My experience with the extraction was comfortable and I felt very little pain.
