First things first: Dr. Henry is one of the nicest humans you will ever meet. And he is an expert in all things orthodontia. Straightening my teeth with Invisalign wasn't terribly complicated, but getting me settled in a retainer after my treatment was complete was kind of dicey. I needed him to adjust it so my bite at night was neutral -- long story, but it has to do with being able to breathe when I'm sleeping (no clenching on back molars.) My request was kind of new to him, but he kindly and patiently listened to me and said, "I'm going to trust that you know what your body needs." And then he worked with me for close to an hour to adjust the bite on my retainer! I never once felt like he was exasperated. He truly won't rest until his patients are comfortable and happy. But Dr. Henry has also done something that so many others haven't: he's gathered a team of gifted, deeply dedicated support staff that made all the difference for me. This practice has several offices and he serves people in many locations. But when I needed something and he wasn't in the office, Val took exceptional care of me. Every single time I had a question or concern, I knew she was going to talk to Dr. Henry about it and together, they would find the best solution for me. What an incredible team they are! At my next to last visit, Val told me she would carefully explain our conversation to him, and when she did, he had the confidence to move forward with her recommendations. And guess what? It resulted in my getting e-x-a-c-t-l-y what I needed. Every single night I am grateful for my custom-made retainer because I can SLEEP. Bottom line: rest assured Dr. Henry has your back, and that his staff (especially Val) is not only highly skilled, but they also extend his generosity of spirit even when he's not there. I brought my child here for crowding, not for aesthetics. Very nice doctors, techs, and office staff. They explained everything really well, and I didn't feel like I was being sold a used car (as was my experience elsewhere). They were very understanding that we are only concerned about alleviating crowding to make room for adult teeth, and will wait and see if further orthodontia is needed later. We have had no issues with her expander during the treatment. The desk people were very patient and helpful with the first use of my FSA card, which I had my doubts about. Billing is clear and simple. Appointment scheduling is also easy, and they provide just the right number of reminders. I didn't feel like I had to fill out too many forms, always a plus. We accidentally showed up a day early for one checkup, and they squeezed us in since we were already there. Appointments always run on time. When I think of my time with ortho360, I think of "meaningless suffering." Do yourself & your bank account a favor - go to Dr. Briggs instead. Going here almost cost me my life. 1. I felt like a number on a conveyor belt with the way I was treated - each appointment felt frantic and rushed - and they never did a thorough job: 2. The first night, the glued in metal pieces fell out in the middle of the night! That was fun to wake up to. 3. I only saw the orthodontist twice- each time he basically nodded at all the hard work of the other workers who they didn't paid enough to be able to afford their own treatments. 4. They gave me a massive bag of promotional items instead of the simple thing they could have just mentioned to save my life: hand sanitizer. This led me to getting Covid and long covid I'm still dealing with, because they only mentioned "don't wash it in cold or hot water!" They knew I was high risk & immunocompromised from me mentioning it and asking about masks. After I figured out how I was infected from handling Invisalign, I recommended they added hand sanitizer to this bag of promos & was met with dismissal and contempt from them for trying to say especially younger kids around other sick kids could benefit from that slight alteration instead of useless lanyard advertisements... 5. When I successfully pulled together a (high risk, and JUST TO AVOID HAVING EXTRA FEES FROM ORTHO360) flight for the final appointment I was faced with one of the worst times of my life. There were a few problems I brought up like my teeth being loose even a month after the last 'tray,' and one tooth not lined up with the others, but the dentist completely disregarded anything I said and claimed perfection. I think he might have had Covid at one of the appointments (while getting into my mouth!), but of course no one tests anymore... 6. They made the retainers and sent me on my way. The retainers were strangely painful and turned out didn't fit my teeth! I was so completely exhausted from dealing with them that I couldn't bring it up to them, because I literally just wanted the reimbursement and to never talk to any of them again. 7. They didn't even remove all the glue from my teeth! I still have glued MONTHS after treatment & a regular dentist couldn't get it off. 8. After the final visit when I pulled together this (useless) trip that they lied to me about, and I wrapped up any business with them - they still charged me hundreds for doing absolutely nothing! Just because they could. Like I said, ortho360 not only put me and others in danger multiple times and literally didn't do the services at all or so badly they had to be done over again, but also blatantly made fraudulent statements for a quick buck. read more

Didn't love them. Several of the staff are nice enough, but there is an underlying tone in the office that didn't sit well with me. So, little perks for having patients pay attention to their dental and orthodontic care may be good, but I felt that it was a way to point a finger at the patient. This feeling grew stronger after my daughter had become a patient. We lived overseas and had already paid for 2 sets of invisalign. I saw my child wearing her invisaligners all the time, and was diligent about facilitating compliance. During the time the second set was ordered, my daughter began having migraine headaches. When we arrived in Austin, I got my daughter set up at Ortho 360 right away, because the overseas doctor was considering ordering a third set. Dr. Burgess helped us with a third set of invisaligners, and after a while, they no longer fit and my daughter was also having more migraines. On several of our visits Dr. Burgess repeatedly told us that it was noncompliance; that my child was not wearing her orthodontic devices for the appropriate daily time schedule. We were constantly feeling defeated. I was beginning to not like the office, as I knew full well my child Was wearing her invisaligners. By our next visit, my daughter's teacher sent her to the hospital because he didn't think she was well. This started a chain of events which ultimately ended with her 4 wisdom teeth being removed. I knew my daughter faithfully wore her invisaligners, until the point that her wisdom teeth shifted the aligners and they no longer fit... not because my daughter was noncompliant. Poor thing; no child wants to be in pain. No chlid wants to be told that she isn't doing her job when she is actually suffering to be compliant. It is disappointing to see that finger pointed at us when we were truly doing all we could. Although this message fell on deaf ears at Ortho 360. A fantastic ortho specialist should have questioned my daughter's case and taken another film to assure that there wasn't a physical issue that was keeping the aligners from working. While I wish this was the end of the story, on our last visit before my daughter's visit to the hospital and subsequent surgery, Dr. Burgess told us she was dropping us for noncompliance. So, after my daughter's dental surgery, I called the office to ask if they could help us finish her invisalign treatment now that they knew the reason for the aligners not working, only to be told they did not want to continue her treatment. In addition, they have limited hours and unless you want to take your child out of school for each and every visit, you may want to seek treatment elsewhere. While I know there are great doctors in Austin, we have had some bad experiences too. Since this experience, if a doctor does not listen, or tries to force me to do something that isn't right (causing pain, negatively affecting everyday life), my new motto is to find a better doctor. They are out there, it just may take a bit of time to find the better doctor. read more

A few years back I priced out Invisalign at another provider and it didn't seem worth it for what I wanted (I had braces for 2 1/2 years as a teen, but didn't wear my retainers and am a grinder, so I had some corrections I wanted, but didn't necessarily need). I work at UT and Ortho360 was at a health fair and I walked up just as they were setting up their machine and they scanned me on the spot. Emily called me shortly after and discussed options and helped me figure out that by upgrading my dental insurance for the UT fiscal year, I could make this process very affordable. I went in for my consultation and my aligners were ordered and showed up quicker than expected. Invisalign wasn't my favorite experience and I worked hard to keep to the 22 hours a day and keep my mouth healthy, but I didn't dread my appointments like I recall with braces (I remember I couldn't eat for days after). Every time I switched out my aligners, it was a bit painful, but overall so worth it. We didn't get to where we wanted to be in the initial 10 weeks, but it was pretty cool that I could get re-scanned and get refinements (three times) for no additional cost. We finally got to where I had very small spaces next to my "petite" lateral incisors and we could have kept going, but I decided I was ready to move on. I received two high quality retainers as part of my treatment and lo and behold, the retainer actually has helped close the gap! Dr. Henry called it a built in "Easter egg". All the staff was awesome. I consider Emily a friend we've talked so much, Dr. Henry who did most of my visits was a pleasure to be around with a great sense of humor, and all the other staff was so professional and friendly and always on time, even if I was running late thanks to Austin traffic. I know they will be there when it's time to get new retainers and also I believe Invisalign is the only way to go with aligners. Eventually I can get scanned to get their brand of retainers, but the ones I got from Ortho360 are such high quality, I know I am good for a while and my teeth will stay straight because they are comfortable to wear while I sleep. When I picked up my second retainer (they wanted to make sure the first worked well - and boy did it ever!), I felt like I was saying goodbye to friends and was sad to go. As an adult getting braces again after 42 years, I was so pleased with this office. Liz was fantastic in installing them and the orthodontist was super nice as well. It took like 39 minutes! I don't like the open sinks for people to brush teeth--pet peeve of mine to watch others brush. Other than that, the entire office is so nice and helpful. I'll check back in in 18 months! read more

I had a very interesting experience here. The customer service and staff were fine. I broke my retainer a few months ago and needed a new one. It was a Hawley retainer and all the research I did (online research and speaking to my old orthodontist's office in Michigan) showed that a new Hawley retainer should cost between $300 & $600 ($150-300 per arch) depending on whether you live in a small town or big city. I made an appointment with Ortho 360 for a free consult. Everything went fine with the front office and the orthodontist looking at my teeth and making his recommendation. However, I was quoted $1300 for both arches. When I asked the person who handled the financials if it was correct and told her about my research she said she would check and left the room. She came back and confirmed that it was $1300. I told her I would have to think about it. I left and called a different orthodontist down the street and was quote $550 for a consult and both new arches of a Hawley. I then called my old orthodontist in Michigan and they told me to run from anyone charging that much- even for a new retainer. I have now gotten my new retainer from the other orthodontist and have had a free check up after wearing it for a month. I don't understand why they are charging over 4x what you would pay in a smaller market/ almost 3x what you would pay in a large market for this service. read more

When anyone asks if I know of a good orthodontist, I always enthusiastically recommend Ortho 360. I have 3 girls ages 13,10 and 7 who have all been to see them at some point. My oldest is about halfway thru her 2nd phase of braces and things are really progressing. My other two are just being watched right now, but there time will come. The staff at Ortho 360 is always friendly! Both Dr. Dustin and Dr. Henry are phenomenal.. They are great with the kids and keep the parents well informed. Ortho360 is the best! It was seriously one of the best decisions I have made to choose this place over others. I guarantee you that I do not work there, nor know them outside of being a patient. They are awesome! I went there because my front two teeth were starting to overlap a bit and hurt a lot. I met with a lady -- I forget what her name is now -- but she went through the admin part of the treatment. I then met with the Dr who looked at x-rays and more or less, came up with a plan. I went in thinking I could just do Invisalign, but he said I had jaw placement issues which means braces. I voiced my concerns about having braces (seriously, I was 22 at the time) and we agreed that I really did needed them on the bottom and invasalign can fix the top. He was very realistic about the time frame and implications of only having braces on the bottom teeth. They really took time to answer every question I had and address every concern. I left feeling confident that I was doing the right thing. I also didn't feel pressured to make any decisions -- which I took as they aren't desperate = meaning they know their work is good and that says enough. In the middle of my treatment, I had to move out of state for a job. I was literally driving back to Austin just to see them sometimes. I definitely didn't want to switch doctors in the middle of my treatment and frankly, I didn't trust anyone else to do it. They were worth every minute of the 8 hour drive. They worked with my crazy schedule and we were still able to accomplish what we needed to even with the geography issue. I'm now about 2 years into it and almost done with my treatment there. It really has been a great experience all the way around. The staff is amazing. The Drs are amazing. I see kids in there all the time. The place is geared towards kids, but as an adult, I don't feel out of place being there. It's not like there is giraffes and zebras on the wall. At the end of the day, I ending up choosing Ortho360 because the Drs and staff are cool. They seem to remember personal things about what we discussed last time -- they must take good notes. It really seems like they care about what is going on in your life. They also do in-house financing = huge plus for me. There was no way I could have done this without having that option. I decided to finally get braces at age 37 and did a google search for Invisalign and came up with this joint - glad I did! Getting braces is not fun at all but this office makes it easy, convenient, affordable and all of the doctors here are great (you rotate through all of them during your treatment and they all work together to consult on your case, 3 doctors for the price of one!). The staff is incredibly friendly, they are always running on time, ready and prepped for your appointment. I usually get in and out within 15 minutes so it's easy to make lunch break appts. The payment plan made it easy for me to afford braces finally and now I smile a LOT! read more

I simply cannot say ENOUGH WONDERFUL things about Ortho 360. My son's dentist (Thiel Pediatric Dentistry - also awesome!) referred him here since it was clear we were going to need a couple of year's worth of braces. (My son got his dad's teeth. Boo.) My son suffers from quite a bit of anxiety that comes and goes. There is rarely any rhyme or reason to what triggers him, but he really does not like new situations and he is extremely sensitive to his physical surroundings. He also does not like things on his body or in his mouth that he has not put there himself. You see the problem then with braces? My son did great the first time when he was just measured for braces and fit for his retainer. He did great when they put the spacers in. But then it came time for the retainer to go in and the braces to go on. He freaked out at how the retainer felt in his mouth. The office let us go out in the hall over and over again while he worked through his anxiety. It was very stressful for him (and me, of course, as his mama), but they were ALL SO VERY, VERY patient and kind with us. We probably tacked an extra 45 minutes on to our appointment! I'm sure we did. At some point, Dr. Henry, who was working in the back office on an adult, noticed what was happening. He stopped working on his adult patient (with their permission) and asked if he could talk to us. He came and stooped down by us and told us, in the kindest and most thoughtful way, "Hey, let's just forget about the retainer, OK? We don't need to do that today. Let's just do whatever YOU feel comfortable doing and we can talk about that retainer again next time." Over and over again he reassured my son that he did NOT have to do the retainer today and that they were there to HELP him and that he would just move on and NOT TO WORRY about anything. I almost burst in to tears and my son was ecstatic!! Dr. Henry then took over our appointment and did all the work himself. He made a point of putting the retainer away and then quickly and efficiently got the front braces on my son. The whole time he talked to him, told him exactly what he was doing, HOW it might feel, etc., etc. He was totally truthful (which my son really, really needs) and we were done in a jiffy. He reassured my son over and over and over again that he would not do anything my son didn't want him to. THIS, my friends, is treatment that every parent dreams of. We came back 6 weeks later to adjust braces and try the retainer again. Again my son became very anxious and upset. We had talked quite a bit about the retainer ahead of time and he thought he was really ready for it, but he just got freaked out again and wasn't able to keep it together. Again we went out in the hall. Again we came back in to be met by Dr. Henry who told my son that he was going to think of a way that we could continue treatment WITHOUT the retainer. He told my son that there are plenty of kids who just cannot deal with something thick being in their mouth and not to worry about it. He sat with us and sort of talked through some things and then decided that he could actually put braces on the bottom (which we were not needing at this time) and it would do the same thing as the retainer. He explained to my son that he would need a lot of braces on the bottom and told him exactly why that might be more of a pain than a retainer, but that my son could think about until the next visit and then he could decide. Dr. Henry said that he really felt that bottom braces would be the way to go for my son and for us not to worry about anything because they would make sure it all worked out. This kind of care is simply beyond the call of duty, so to speak. Dr. Henry treats my child with so much respect and compassion that I get teary just writing this post. That's what they DO here. They take their pediatric clients VERY seriously and that is an amazing thing nowadays. They never speak down to him, they never force him, they never coax or tease or threaten him. They have given HIM a choice every single time and THAT is what makes all the difference. To say that I recommend them is just not enough. Unless you have an anxious child, you can never know how challenging these situations can be. Dr. Henry and Ortho 360 have taken the time to make our lives SO much easier. My son feels TOTALLY accepted and respected here and that is a rare thing. I give them 500 stars! Also, lovely, clean office with lots of light. The staff is absolutely as kind and patient as Dr. Henry. The front desk woman is friendly and very helpful. Our payment options and insurance stuff has been a breeze!! The staff is really professional and space is extremely clean. However, when I arrived the x-ray machine was not working so I couldn't get x-rays done. When the doctor saw me, he didn't recommend any treatment. He saw me for max 3 minutes and felt rushed. Also, if you're looking for an affordable treatment plan this is NOT the place to go. Invisalign and braces are the same price and for 1 year treatment it's $5,000+. Hope this review helps. read more

I am so glad to have found Ortho 360. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. I was dealing with a painful retainer problem and the staff got me an appointment promptly. When I arrived I was seen within 5 minutes of sitting down. Dr. Dustin and Mandy fixed me up gently and quickly. I was so appreciative that they kept everything simple and fast. Ortho360 has been an absolute pleasure to work with. I'm a patient that had both upper and lower orthognathic surgery last March. This has been a three year process and have gotten to know each doctor and the staff very well. Thus being said, they are very friendly, time conscious, extremely knowledgeable about orthodontics, and competitive in their pricing and I could not be more sure of my decision to use their firm. They were able to perform the transitions of my mouth primarily with the use of Invisiline in lieu of standard braces and accomplished huge strides coaching me along along the way. Being that I'm a business professional, this was a huge bonus considering the major jaw/ tooth renovation that was required to correct my bite. They worked in tandem with Dr. Widner (awesome surgeon) to obtain the proper placement and plan of attack to correct my bite. I'm so extremely pleased with my results and how the handled every aspect of this process with the upmost professionalism and superior care.
