Dr. Kunik has been amazing and his team is top notch. My treatment plan was specific and tailored but even more important was the level of pleasant service I received from the staff. They all remembered my name and seemed genuinely interested in my progress. I'd been told over and over that I wasn't a good candidate for Invisalign by different providers in the past. My own dentist said that I wasn't a good fit. Dr. Kunik didn't hesitate to take on my treatment and he never made me feel like a "lost cause." I'm happy and confident in my smile now. It's a feeling I've literally never felt before. Thanks to Dr. Kunik and the wonderful team at the Bee Caves location. You all are life changers.

Love my new smile!

I give Dr. Kunik and his team 5 stars! So happy to have a lovely smile! The entire team was so professional and supportive during the process. Each appointment I was greeted with a kind staff. Dr Kunik answered any questions I had and Dr Kunik did a superb job of fine tuning my bite at well. Such a wonderful feeling to smile with confidence! Thank you so much Dr Kunik and team! After braces

While the office runs like a well-oiled machine, Dr. Kunik himself is too busy to develop individualized treatment plans that take facial structure into account or listen to/address concerns after treatment. When my daughter's braces were removed, her top front teeth were moved too far up into the bone and only the bottom 1/3 of her teeth showed when she smiled. He effectively shortened her front teeth and inverted her "smile arc" resulting in an unattractive smile. Dr. Kunik has not listened to our concerns (he stood in the doorway of the exam room and would not look at her before and after pictures with us) and instead recommended we see a cosmetic dentist, saying the problem is the shape of her teeth. It is obvious from her pictures that the problem with her smile is not the shape of her teeth but the placement of them, with too little of the teeth showing. At our next appointment Dr. Kunik literally told us to come back in 6 months and we would "get used to it". The cosmetic dentist we saw recommended we lengthen her teeth with bonding to improve the appearance of her smile. Basically we paid Dr. Kunik $6500 to push her teeth up and out of her smile and now we will need to pay a cosmetic dentist $5000 to add length back to them to make her smile pretty again.

I went to Dr. Kunik to get an estimate for my braces and advice on whether or not I should do…read moreInvisalign. I felt like I got an honest opinion and a high standard of care through these appointments. They listened to my concerns and came up with a treatment option that was primarily Invisalign with minimal time in traditional braces. I think this would probably have been a good option for me, but I didn't take it. Now I have what my periodontist calls "bad teeth", but I was too cheap and unwilling to spend any time whatsoever wearing traditional braces. I was vain and just wanted straight teeth. I didn't like that my bit was jacked up too, but it didn't bother me enough to fix it at the time. Ultimately, I ended up choosing a different treatment option and I ended up going to a different orthodontist. In retrospect, maybe I made the wrong call by not following Dr. Kunik's advice (or the advice of my ortho. - they both had the same recommendation). The reality of the fact that I have to live with these chompers for the rest of my life is starting to sink in now that I'm older. Although I'm probably no wiser, age alone changed how I see a $500-1,000 price difference - dental treatment that will last your whole life. Let's say you're a teen and Dr. Kunik says something to the effect of, "Dear, I know all your friends have Invisalign but we need to use transitional braces to fix your {shark teeth synonym}." I'd suggest you do your best to talk your most sympathetic parent into getting you whatever braces Dr. Kunik recommends. Why? 1. Your parent(s) want you to be happy, healthy, and your best adult self so you don't move back in after college. They might have insurance that covers your braces now. If so, you take it and you run and get yourself whatever braces they tell you to get. Dr. Kunik's office can try to find more affordable treatments if the original proposal is not affordable for your family. It might just be a balance between short term aesthetics (while you're undergoing treatment) and cost. Their office was actually really cool about finding more affordable treatment options for me. 2. There's virtually no downside to any type of braces as a teen: Do braces make you feel awkward? Probably, but so do crooked teeth. Do they hurt? Yes, but not as much as they will later if you don't get them. Do people like to kiss metal mouths? Maybe not, but high school relationship prospects are generally garbage anyways. Basically, I'd say, at any age - if you have good insurance and you can afford to get your teeth done right, I bet Dr. Kunik would do a bang up job. My insurance was terrible, and I wanted extra money on hand for fun things you want in your 20s (like a 401K, or a down payment on a convertible). Personally, I ended up going elsewhere. I saved like, $500-1,000, which (as Dr. Kunik will tell you, and I would tend to agree) is very little if you think of this as a lifetime investment. Is it worth it? That's a personal choice. My opinion is, regardless of where you go, seriously consider the treatment you can afford that is best for the long term.

When I pointed it out to his assistant, she said he wouldn't do that but then she said open your mouth and she looked in and she said oh my he did ! He sanded my four bottom front teeth to the point where the Denton was exposed! I went to my regular dentist afterwards, immediately, for him to look at it, and I should've gone to a lawyer as well as I have just spent over $40,000 redoing my teeth because of Dr.Kunik! Do not trust this man ... I asked him three times to stop sanding my lower front teeth and he said he wouldn't sand them anymore and then he did! No integrity here whatsoever!

First things first: Dr. Henry is one of the nicest humans you will ever meet. And he is an expert…read morein all things orthodontia. Straightening my teeth with Invisalign wasn't terribly complicated, but getting me settled in a retainer after my treatment was complete was kind of dicey. I needed him to adjust it so my bite at night was neutral -- long story, but it has to do with being able to breathe when I'm sleeping (no clenching on back molars.) My request was kind of new to him, but he kindly and patiently listened to me and said, "I'm going to trust that you know what your body needs." And then he worked with me for close to an hour to adjust the bite on my retainer! I never once felt like he was exasperated. He truly won't rest until his patients are comfortable and happy. But Dr. Henry has also done something that so many others haven't: he's gathered a team of gifted, deeply dedicated support staff that made all the difference for me. This practice has several offices and he serves people in many locations. But when I needed something and he wasn't in the office, Val took exceptional care of me. Every single time I had a question or concern, I knew she was going to talk to Dr. Henry about it and together, they would find the best solution for me. What an incredible team they are! At my next to last visit, Val told me she would carefully explain our conversation to him, and when she did, he had the confidence to move forward with her recommendations. And guess what? It resulted in my getting e-x-a-c-t-l-y what I needed. Every single night I am grateful for my custom-made retainer because I can SLEEP. Bottom line: rest assured Dr. Henry has your back, and that his staff (especially Val) is not only highly skilled, but they also extend his generosity of spirit even when he's not there. I wish every medical and dental practice took such great care of their patients.

I brought my child here for crowding, not for aesthetics. Very nice doctors, techs, and office…read morestaff. They explained everything really well, and I didn't feel like I was being sold a used car (as was my experience elsewhere). They were very understanding that we are only concerned about alleviating crowding to make room for adult teeth, and will wait and see if further orthodontia is needed later. We have had no issues with her expander during the treatment. The desk people were very patient and helpful with the first use of my FSA card, which I had my doubts about. Billing is clear and simple. Appointment scheduling is also easy, and they provide just the right number of reminders. I didn't feel like I had to fill out too many forms, always a plus. We accidentally showed up a day early for one checkup, and they squeezed us in since we were already there. Appointments always run on time. Best of all, my daughter's teeth look adequately spaced now! It's like magic!
