I was a patient of this dental office for eight years and would have given it a five star review until recently. I was in a period in my life where I did not have dental insurance so I was a cash pay patient. When I went in the last time, they insisted that I have x-rays and that if I didn't, they were not "running the business as they were taught ". So as it turns out, Dr. Peters wouldn't even clean my teeth! She talked to me like I was an errant child who was misbehaving. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I reached out to the owner of the practice and she called me back and apologized for how things happened and even offered to do the x-rays for free. Although I greatly appreciate that, I have no desire to go back and have to see Dr. Peter's. So I advise if you go to this practice make sure you have health insurance or unlimited money because people who don't are not really welcome. read more

The staff here at Northland Dental was all very friendly and welcoming. I got in and out of my appointment very quickly and swiftly. Dr. Tibbetts was very thorough with my examination and gave me spectacular advice on the best care for my teeth. The ladies there were very kind and provided me a blanket because it was cold in the office. They checked on me and asked if there was anything else I might need such as an extra rinse, blanket, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.. I will be coming back again! read more

If you're like me, you don't like people putting their hairy hands in your mouth and don't like having just anybody doing dental work on you. This is why I have used the same dentist for years who I have come to trust. But due to a tone of cavities, I needed a lot of work done and my dentist isn't on my insurance policy. This meant that I would be spending a tiny fortune on dental work. So I was going to have to find a new dentist. One that was on my insurance policy. After digging around some, I found Northland Dental Studio. I called them and got Anna, who was very patient with me and answered all my questions. I have had half of the work done, a crown and three fillings. Dr. Lowrance does a great job. She's very friendly and lets you know what's going on. I went to find a good dentist to restore my health after some severe trauma. I needed a deep cleaning and to have crowns for my two front teeth as well as a bridge installed. The comprehensive process was thru multiple appointments and required a detailed strategy. Dr Kasey Lowrance worked with me to maximize my insurance benefits and all else. So I have some pretty intense dentist anxiety due to dental trauma I experienced as a young kid. I won't go into it here, but there was lots of blood, emergency oral surgery, and several root canals. The anxiety leads me to put off dental visits for longer than I like to admit. But then I found Northland Dental Studio. Getting set up was so easy. Donna answered all my questions and knew about my state employee dental plan. She got me scheduled for my first cleaning and had great reminders via text and email sent to me. The first appointment was very easy. I had a cleaning and an exam, the latter done by Dr. Hadden. Everyone I encountered, from Donna, the dental assistants, the dental hygienist, and Dr. Hadden, was so nice, gentle and calming. I had two other appointments to get everything straightened out. They involved a little pain, but it would have been a lot worse had it not been for Dr. Hadden's thorough numbing process. I'm so glad I found Northland Dental Studio. The ladies at Northland dental are absolutely amazing. I see Dr Holt and she is so kind, gentle, and compassionate. I have some anxiety with dentist visits, and from the moment I walk in and am greeted by Donna, I feel comfortable. The hygienists are also very kind, and the dental studio is small, but beautiful. Some little things that I love: TVs in every room with full control of the remote; blankets, yes blankets, and stress balls; bite block to hold open my mouth; glasses to wear during mouth work; FREE whitening kit with a coupon from the newspaper; and a folder containing all of my information, recommendations, and next appointments. My husband and I went to Dr. Hadden when she was at Avery Ranch Dental and were so impressed that we followed her once she opened Northland Dental so we've been going to her for over 3 years now. At my first appointment at Northland Dental Studio Dr. Hadden gave me a free fluoride treatment a bag of dentist freebies to take home, which was great! The room I was in was really serene and had a well placed tv to watch while I got my cleaning. I usually hate going to the dentist but Dr. Hadden makes appointments as comfortable and easy as they can be. I had to make another appointment for some fillings that I needed and when I went back for them Dr. Hadden explained everything thoroughly as she was going and totally put me at ease. She is very patient and pleasant- definitely the best dentist that I have ever seen. I won't go to anyone else! My husband has had a lot of dental work done so he is very picky when it comes to dentists/periodontists/etc. (they really have to know their stuff and be great at what they do for him to go to them) and he loves her too! read more

This place gets booked up quickly and it makes sense why! Cleaning was thorough and they also offered a complimentary fluoride treatment which normally costs extra. Office staff was friendly and professional. The only area of improvement I can think of was the time it took to get my teeth cleaned. It's typical to have x-rays done beforehand but it took 15 minutes to get that done and then get my teeth actually cleaned. It would also be nice if they were open on Saturdays as well or were open earlier/later during the weekdays. The cleaning experience was not painful and I felt like my hygienist did a great job. My chair faced a corner window with a lot of natural light (the weather was overcast, but that isn't their fault of course). The office was very clean and warm. Let me start off by saying Dr.Hadden and her staff are amazing and so nice! I would highly recommend her as your new dentist. Office very nice and clean, appointment running on time and over all great experience! I love that the office was able to email necessary appointment paperwork directly to you and then send back forms filled in by email or fax. I was a little nervous coming in due to the fact I have not been to the dentist in over 4 years but Dr. Hadden as very assuring that everything looked pretty good. Dr Hadden was very gentle and you can tell she really cares and loves what she does. I did end up having two minor cavities that she advised I should take care of them sooner rather than later. Oh my goodness, these ladies are so good! I just switched to this practice for a broken filling and am so glad I found them, thanks to a friend's recommendation. I have never been to a dentist so warm, welcoming, and friendly. The whole experience was so pleasant that towards the end of my appointment I was so relaxed I actually had the thought "I hope they are not done yet, I am so relaxed!" I usually get pretty anxious at dental appointments, so that was a first. Dr Peters and Martha work wonderfully together, and it is very obvious the whole staff is chosen very carefully. They take a personal interest in my dental care. I never feel pressured to get additional dental work done as other dental farms tend to push. After having read the other positive reviews, I wanted to book in time for a routine dental checkup. I was under a tight time pressure, but Donna and the team managed to shuffle things around and get me in. After having my routine check-up, I was told that I needed to have 5 fillings done (my first ever!! Again - I only had 2 days remaining to schedule this in, but the girls shuffled things around and managed to get me in later that afternoon. Dr. Holt and her staff were awesome and made it as pain-free as possible, and I can't recommend them enough. Never felt pressured or obligated - but so glad that I took care of my teeth on the day. We absolutely LOVE Northland Dental! After dealing with a terrible dentist elsewhere, we found this incredible team of lit-ral dental angels. It might seem weird to be fanatic about a dental office, but if you have dental anxiety because of bad past experiences then you know. For nervous patients, they do everything possible to calm your anxiety (stress balls, explaining things clearly before during and after the work, they have great tv and they check in with you continuously). I've truly never received better care. If you're looking for a wonderful clinic with friendly staff, please check them out. I go for maintenance and cosmetics. Literally the best dentist I have EVER been to...and unfortunately I have been to many... I could write a novel on my experience but to keep this brief, here we go: Had to get a crown. Was anxious for days prior. Walked into their soothing, well decorated waiting room, did not wait long. Procedure took almost three hours due to the state of my tooth. They offered me a pillow, music, blanket and water. No, I'm not joking. Dr. Hadden and Jasmine were SO sensitive with my anxious self and made sure that I was ok the whole time. I was shocked by their attention to detail! Dr. Hadden showed me pictures of my teeth afterwards and explained what they did and why. Also - dealing with Donna was awesome. She walked me through how much everything would cost, how much insurance money I had left, and gave me all sorts of options for my upcoming procedures. Though I HATE having my teeth worked on, I LOVE this place and feel VERY confident with their care. read more

I have SEVERE dental anxiety, I usually cry during X-rays. I've had bad experiences in the past when I was little (accidental teeth pulling that resulted in 6 years of braces). I knew I needed an appointment and after serious research and recommendations, I made the appointment. They were SO nice. The receptionist, hygenist Lacey, and Dr Holt. They really worked hard to make sure I was comfortable- no tears here! I have to have some deep cleanings done and 2 cavities filled...I'm super nervous but they gave me options (laughing gas, numbing) for me. Lacey went everything and made me feel comfortable. I'm not as nervous for my deep cleanings coming up because I know I need to take my oral health seriously and I trust Lacey and Dr Holt. I still have massive anxiety but they were so nice and Lacey was very gentle during my exam. They are 100% upfront with you about costs which is rare at a dentist office. They give you a nice organized folder which is so helpful, and emailed appointment reminders well in advance. There are TVs that they can review X-rays on, and Netflix they set you up with. The view out the window from my seat was pretty with trees which was also calming! I'm not necessarily excited about all the dental work I have to have done, or about the pain I'm sure is in my future, but these ladies made me feel better and helped me take charge of my oral health. Also- parking is fabulous and plenty and it's easy to find. :) read more

Fearful? I am (was) an 8 on a scale of 10. From now on, for as long as I live in the state of Texas, no one else is touching my mouth except for Dr. Katie Hadden. Why? Let me count the ways: pleasant, very personable folks. Punctuality. Frank conversations about payment options. No unnecessary procedures/treatments (I now wonder whether my last dentist, also female, prescribed 3 unnecessary root canals - roots canal?). While in the chair, I was always reassured that I was in complete control, and that proved to be true. I tend to be drug-resistant, and the usual drugs take an unusually long time to take effect. Rather than injecting, waiting 5 minutes and then beginning, Dr. Hadden and her staff made sure that I was really comfortably numb before beginning work - and Dr. Hadden made notes in my chart for future at the very moment so that we could use that info on future visits. The staff called the next day to see how I was doing, even though the office is closed on Fridays! They are not really "the staff," but I can't remember their names. Everyone is fabulous here, and if you are lucky enough to be seen by Dr. Hadden, I am positive that you will be thrilled! read more

Dr. Holt and her staff are great! The moment I walked in I felt welcomed and relaxed. They answered all of my questions and were more than willing to help. The hygienist took the time to get to know me and ask about concerns I had with my teeth. She paid close attention to detail while making sure I was comfortable (or as comfortable as the dentist can be). It was relaxed and painless! Dr. Holt took the same pride & care for me as the hygienist did and offered to answer any questions. I have gone to the same dentist for 20 years and just made the switch to Dr. Holt after moving cities. So pleasantly surprised by my recent visit. Laura, the hygienist , was fabulous! Friendly, knowledgable, and gentle! She talked me through everything and didn't make me feel guilty for my over-due cleaning. =) The dentist was efficient and sweet too. From the initial phone call until I checked out at the end of my appt., the staff and experience was great. They are very clear to explain each procedure beforehand and to be attentive to my comfort at all times. This is the first time I have gone to a "new" dentist after almost 30 years going to my childhood dentist in Ohio. Let's just say it's not easy to make an appointment to see someone when you live a plane ride away, so it was time to switch. I am happy to report that Dr. Hadden and her crew are even BETTER than my old dentist.....yep I said it. They are so welcoming, and do amazing dental work. It's been a really long time since I had seen a dentist and I was really nervous and embarrassed about my teeth. But their hygienist was very professional and courteous to me and gave me a couple of tips to keep my teeth clean after my cleaning was done. She was very gentle and made it as painless as possible! The open room I was lead to was equipped with a TV facing me which made it very easy to distract myself (dentist anxiety haha). I was originally scheduled for June but Donna managed to squeeze me in earlier! Dr. Hadden was extremely friendly and patient with my many questions about my teeth and how to take good care of them.
