It's located in the same spot after many decades in Seattle's Wedgwood neighborhood. Since there's several cafes along this stretch of 35th NE, as point of reference, it's two doors south of Wedgwood Broiler. It shares a huge parking lot and adjacent to a Metro bus route. It had a nice autumn hue from the overhead lighting and interior decor. The local art for sale adorning the walls was a nice added touch. Upbeat, welcoming staff. It was full right at noon and brisk walk-in takeout traffic. Nice overhead music to chill, dine, and/or do laptop stuff. They offer the usual bev menu, as well as, breakfast & lunch items, soups, salads, modest pastry case (from Alki Bakery), merch, and coffee roasts from Zoka. The 16oz mocha was well crafted temp wise & good balance of espresso, steamed milk, and chocolate. I also opted for the roast beef panini without the horseradish. Generously filled with roast beef, havarti, mayo, and red onion on savory focaccia. It was provided with au jus and I selected potato salad versus chips. The au jus was not salty, so after dipping, I also sipped the hot broth. Very flavorful and filling. The other panini half I'll have to take home. Thanks to fellow Yelp Elite All Star, Will L for a compelling post. This was a pleasant detour for lunch.

Came around 1-2pm on a weekend and they still had a full pastry case! I always love seeing that…read morelater in the day since some other cafes are getting empty around that time. They have so many yummy options, but I settled on a mushroom and Gruyère pastry and an earl grey blueberry cruffin. The mushroom and Gruyère pastry was SO good!!! Buttery flaky layers of dough with a strong earthy mushroom flavor and savory cheese - an absolute umami bomb. We ate it the day after and threw it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes, and it was so delicious. The cruffin was huge! Topped with a delicious light Earl grey cream that wasn't too sweet. It was filled with a blueberry cream and was definitely very filling. There's a lot of sugar coating it, as is standard with cruffins, but it's a nice sweet treat. Definitely coming back for the mushroom and Gruyère pastry and to try their other delicious flavors. Their supreme croissant flavor switches often and we can't wait to try the next one! One of the best bakeries I've been to in Seattle so far.

I originally planned to just grab a coffee and a croissant, but after noticing how popular the mushroom Gruyere croissant seemed, I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. It was incredibly delicious, perfectly filling, and even better when warmed up. The staff member kindly offered to heat it for me, which really elevated the whole experience. While they serve Umbria coffee, which isn't my personal favorite, the food more than made up for it. The service was warm and friendly, and the overall vibe was welcoming. I'll definitely be back to try the mushroom croissant again or maybe explore some of their other pastries next time.

Both were delicious, the toast was very unique by having cocoa nibs on it. Delish! I will come back again to try some of the tasty looking vegan pastries. Since I missed the yelp elite event, this place has been on my mind occasionally. My bus stop…read morehappened to be here one day so I decided to go in. The cafe area is spacious and it had a nice display of chocolate that you could sample and choose from to be used in your drink. I had the mocha with Colombia chocolate. The drink tasted too strong and bitter for my taste, though. I don't think you could make it any less strong because Colombia chocolate seemed to be on the lower side of cacao percentage among other selections here. The bitterness could've also come from the espresso shots too. I prefer Spinnaker's mocha to the one here because Spinnaker's is not as bitter and more smooth. But if you prefer your chocolate more bitter and espresso stronger, you might like Cocoa Legato's mocha better. The place was giving good vibes, so I'd be happy to take friends and hang out and maybe I'll get a different kind of drink next time I'm here.
