I only really stop by here when I'm too tired from my run and need a caffeine boost. They're a nice local coffee spot with food. They typically have other folks in there with their laptop, but they're not super packed. It's nice and quaint. They're quick with the orders, but might need a reminder for your pastry purchase. I had to remind the cashier twice I ordered a pastry. They have water, but they have these super tiny cups. Be mindful of their hours because they change as the season gets colder and darker!

Friendly people, great community, amazing muffins Also have free Wi-Fi and is a great place to get homework or work done

Coffee beans were not that great! I got 2 different kind of coffee and they were so disgusting. Make the drive and go to light house roasters !!!! Top tier coffee beans! Sorry to say!

Barely 3 stars and only for the $4.00 feta/ spinach scone. Coffee was 0 stars, probably because they don't have soy and use homemade almond milk. Not too my taste or needs to grow on you, I don't know. The coffee taste still should have pushed through. The only explanation I can think off is a second pull from the grounds. Too bad, I had high hopes for this desolate location.

This photo is from their Facebook page, but the sandwich I just ate looked exactly like this one. Delicious!

Very friendly and down to earth. Feels like a small town cafe. The drinks seem to be popular. And they have a variety of snacks. 5-stars.

Cute coffee house at Shilshole. Good coffee and pastries. Grab some, walk outside, and enjoy the view of the Olympics and the marina.

Wish I liked this place, since it's the only coffee around. But it's overpriced ($5 for a mediocre Americano? Really?), and nothing special.

It was that good. Perfectly delicate, fragrant, and memorable in a way that makes you immediately want another one. The service was lovely, the atmosphere was great, and the food and drinks were outstanding. Truly such an incredible spot and I'm already looking forward to going back. There was also a special Makeworth espresso shot that tasted like watermelon SO unique, do try it if you're into adventurous espresso!

Both were ready pretty quickly. The chai was spicy and not too sweet which I really liked. The egg sandwich was yummy too. Thick egg filling, with the chili sauce went well together. Pickles were a little too salty for me especially just to eat on the side. I guess you could put it inside the sandwich? But still, quite salty. Service was super friendly and welcoming, would definitely come again to try more of their seasonal drinks and food. A cocktail here sounds interesting as well!

It is so nice when there is art on the walls (like when the staff did their own art with the Kate Bush theme). I for one think the current lack of art is worse than whatever happened with the matcha lattes. More art would be so great. It would definitely make enjoying my favorite tea even more special.

Vibes are excellent, but only a few tables have power outlets if you're hoping to stay for a while. Crowds on Saturday are pretty manageable, but during the Ballard Farmer's Market on Sunday, it can get a bit crazy with lines out the door.

We walked by Victrola Coffee Roasters, and were quite excited for their unique theme. The interior was quite interesting as expected. There were patrons sitting all over the cafe and we assumed it would be a great experience. I ordered their honey lavender latte in their smallest iced size and an oatmeal cookie. The baristas made my drink and had forgotten my cookie, so we had to ask for it. The rating comes from the drink itself. I think I revived about 70% milk and ice. I couldn't taste the coffee at all. When I asked my partner, he said it didn't taste like coffee either. I could also barely taste the honey lavender in it. Generally, my coffee is always strong or too sugary. It's been a while since I've had a drink like this. The cookie was also odd. I was very disappointed. Overall, everything about it was not the best. Just okay.

This location in Ballard has been a steady hub for locals, serving as a destination for a quick coffee run, an ideal coffee date destination, and a productive remote working spot. As much as I appreciate little cafes, I have an affinity toward places that boast a spacious interior as much as this one. With numerous tables and seating options, it's an ideal spot for groups. On excellent weather days, I think the outdoor seats are perfect for people watching along Market St. The plentiful outlets, fast Wi-Fi, clean bathrooms, and dedicated community room (#1) certainly don't hurt either. There is a lot to appreciate on the coffee front. heir cold brew was potent and refreshing during a summer afternoon. The latte art is on point. While I think the lemon citrus bread and banana bread are tasty, it feels a little pricey at over $4 a slice. Since they've been acquired by Seattle Coffee Works as of a couple of years ago, I suspect all the locations will be a bit heavier with the branding and likely more consistent across the board with tangible product sales such as merch, coffee beans, and coffee making products.
