We stopped by to recharge with some coffee. It's a local spot tucked away in a residential area. Street parking was free, and the staff were super friendly. There's plenty of seating, which was nice. They had a seasonal coffee menu, and I tried the salty honey lavender mocha--so good! I was surprised to see bulletproof coffee on the menu too, it was my first time seeing that at a café. Coffee was great, and I'll definitely be back!

This was a cute little shop! They have a big seating area in the back with lots of options from armchairs to regular tables. The staff were very polite and attentive. I asked for their recommendation between 2-3 drinks and they gave me a well thought out but honest recommendation. The chai I had was pretty good but not well stirred and they didn't have any stir sticks on hand so that was the only real negative. I noticed they had area AC machines and fans, so it was a bit warmer in there. I picked a spot by the door AC and fan so I was fine to sit and read for a bit. Quirky and fun neighborhood spot!

Just moved into a new place near loyal heights and hadn't un boxed my coffee pot so I decided to walk the dog and grab a cup of joe at a local spot. I found Mabel via Yelp and it was just what I needed. I got a 16 oz drip, they had 2 different options and I went for the medium. A nice touch that I liked is that they have a jar that you can put cash in to get a drip if the line is busy. I will be back!

This is a quiet, spacious coffee shop. There is plenty of seating in the back. The music plays really low in the front, and doesn't carry through to the back, so it's a good spot if you prefer working in a quiet place.

Great local coffee shop. Bring your own cup, they are working to move away from one use cups. As of 11/12/22, they host live music from 11-1pm.

Love Mabel's but they need to add staff. 9 in line and one barista on a Sunday morning.

My husband and I walk past Cardoon all the time, so one day we finally stopped in. The cafe is cute and cozy and makes good use of a small space with benches along the walls and low tables. They were out of chocolate chip cookies when we arrived, but the barista said they had a new batch in the oven if I could wait 30 minutes. I waited, and boy was it worth the wait. The cookie was warm and gooey, while still crispy on the edges. There are pools of dark chocolate and flakes of sea salt, and undertones of anise, making it a delectable cookie. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely be back to try some drinks!

This location in Ballard has been a steady hub for locals, serving as a destination for a quick coffee run, an ideal coffee date destination, and a productive remote working spot. As much as I appreciate little cafes, I have an affinity toward places that boast a spacious interior as much as this one. With numerous tables and seating options, it's an ideal spot for groups. On excellent weather days, I think the outdoor seats are perfect for people watching along Market St. The plentiful outlets, fast Wi-Fi, clean bathrooms, and dedicated community room (#1) certainly don't hurt either. There is a lot to appreciate on the coffee front. heir cold brew was potent and refreshing during a summer afternoon. The latte art is on point.
