Looking for a cozy cafe in Seattle serving up locally roasted coffee? Then head over to Fremont Coffee on N. 36th near Phinney Ave. Located inside an old house converted to a cafe, the seating areas are spread out over several rooms with local art displayed on the walls. Super chill vibe. Recommendation: Try out some of their pastries. We loved the Blueberry Scone and the Cherry Almond Scone.

This adorable little coffee place has some beautiful and delectable offerings! But first, what really blew me away was the personal service afforded to us by our barista/server. I failed to get his name, but what a nice guy, who was also very efficient and artistic! ‍ Breakfast burrito is prepared in a panini press. Very fresh, ever so slightly spicy. But if spicy is what you like, add some of the sauce that comes with it. It seems like sriracha mixed with mayo maybe. Very spicy. We also shared cinnamon roll which dude warmed up for us - it was spectacular. Dark roast coffee was very dark and strong and hit the spot. My companion enjoyed their latte very much.

I was going to give them 3 stars, but then I felt bad, because I also wanted to mention that the whole beans I picked up from them were delicious and perfectly roasted. So here was my experience: I ordered a cappuccino (extra hot), and unfortunately all I got was something reminiscent of a latte with bubble bath foam/seafoam on top. It was a bit sad considering that this specific coffee shop is know for their latte art. I decided to also grab some whole beans to bring back to LA, and seriously, that was the best decision ever, because my morning coffee these days is what I look forward to THE most. Overall, mid experience with my cappuccino, but what a comeback with the beans!

Came here after the Sunday fremont market for a little pit stop. The vibes were so nice with crisp weather and sunshine. My friends and I sat outdoors and the seating was very comfortable. I ordered the hot matcha with vanilla. It was pretty good, but nothing crazy. The little devious cat artwork was very cute and made the experience a lot more fun. My friends ordered iced matcha and iced coffee. They both looked good as well. My friend also ordered an overpriced burrito which looked good, but probably not worth $16. Overall service was quick and vibes were nice. i would come again!

The barista was nice, but the drinks weren't too great. We got a Matcha latte and and it was not very strong in flavor. I do like how Fremont has a cute little coffee shop dress on a street in case you want to browse parking can be hard streets are super narrow. I probably won't come back, but I enjoyed my experience here.

The lattes here were nearly perfectly extracted. I went for an oat milk latte, while my mother picked 2% milk, and I sampled both. They did open a bit briny, but the finish was decently long and complex. I appreciate that in an espresso joint. On the other hand, the baristas chided us (first-time customers) for ordering wrong. The line passes the baristas before getting to the register, and when I ordered at the register, they realized I hadn't talked to a barista already. Annoyed, the barista tapped the "order here" sign I'd missed - which is aggressive - and then he took my order without ever making eye contact. This front of house dynamic was off-putting. If the baristas are to take orders then they should also watch the line! The baristas are making drinks the whole time the line goes and putting it on customers to interrupt them is totally backwards.

Rated as one of the best coffee shops on a website I saw. That website was a lie. I don't think there was anything on the menu that stood out. The menu was quite basic. I went with the 16oz caramel latte. That was okay. But to be ranked top ten in Seattle is a stretch. I paired it with a banana bread. It wasn't the most moist but definitely not dry. I think what makes this place good is that there are ample seating inside and outside and has a homey vibe to it. Great for working from home or catching up with the homies. Service was quite nice. Even tho I was in a rush, they made me want to stop and chat because of their warmth.

Such a cozy little place with little unique rooms. Barista was amazing with his coffee art skills. This is totally another level of coffee art. Coffee also taste great! Hope to be back to check out pastry.

Stop in for a delicious coffee in a unique space. It's a converted home with cozy little nooks that allow you to catch up with friends or have a quiet moment to yourself.

Incredible coffee! WOWWWW. I was tempted to go to my 'sure thing' coffee house across the street, but I decided to try something new and I AM SO GLAD I DID. It was perfection in a cup. The coffee is so smooth and velvety. The place was just quirky enough for me to fall in love with it. It is quintessential Seattle. The servers, both of them, were fantastic. Great suggestions and recommendations and conversationalist. They made getting coffee a little sweeter and were so warm and friendly. We bought a bag to go too. What a charming place.

Definitely one of the more unique and memorable drinks I've had in a while. I also got the oat and coconut cookie, which was absolutely divine. The service was also super friendly, which made the experience even better. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, and the overall vibe felt warm and inviting. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable, which is always a nice bonus. Great drinks, amazing baked goods, and kind service--would definitely come back.

A good day always starts with a good cup of coffee!…read more On our first morning in Seattle, my daughter and I found this little coffee shop nearby with excellent reviews, and it turned out to be a wonderful start to our day. My daughter ordered the June special, the Fruity Pebbles Cold Foam Cold Brew, while I chose the Brown Sugar Latte. The special drink was beautifully presented, and my daughter loved both its unique flavor and refreshing taste. My latte was made with Stamp Act Coffee, and I really enjoyed its clean, smooth, and naturally rich flavor. You can definitely tell they use high-quality beans. For breakfast, we paired our coffees with a croissant and the pumpkin nutty bread. Both were decent and convenient for a quick breakfast, though the coffee was definitely the highlight of our visit. If you're looking for a cozy neighborhood café with excellent coffee to start your day, this is a great spot to check out.

Matcha latte w/ almond milk was alright, knowing this can't be compared to what I can get at tea cafes. I love how they make this place green w/ all sorts of indoor plants. Plants do light up the area and mood given that Seattle can be so gloomy around this time. Def coming back if I'm in the area again.
