    Turkish coffee - IG @bougiefoodieboi

I went here for a quick coffee fix and this coffee shop stands out as it has Turkish coffee and various Egyptian offerings such as their basboosa, which is the Egyptian sweet cake. The Turkish coffee is 12oz and fairly strong, with nice aroma, but do mix well since a lot of the coffee beans settle at the bottom. The basboosa is sweet and hearty, with semolina and hazelnut. It is a nice pairing with the coffee. The coffee shop itself has lots of space and there's lots of parking nearby.

I am glad to see a promising, family run, indie cafe recently open at the corner of 130th & Linden in Seattle's Bitter Lake neighborhood called Radiant Flavors Cafe. I decided to check it out a late Sunday afternoon (5/26/24) after finding nearby angle street parking. Exercise caution parking nearby because some drivers turning off of 130th think Linden is a speedway. The cafe is located near a children's play area, along a bike lane, and Metro bus route 345 plus Rapid Ride E along Aurora. There is ample seating onsite with a few tables, counter seating, and encourages staying awhile with some books and board games available. The pastry and refrigerated cases had enticing items to select from. The welcoming counter person presented me with a platter of samples as I was gawking at the pastry cases. I enjoyed the Egyptian sweet - got that palate primed! Since I just had lunch elsewhere, I ordered a honey pistachio croissant to eat onsite and a 16oz mocha to bring home to The Homie. The croissant wasn't in the sense of classic French style laminated layers. However, I enjoyed the flavor, moist fresh texture. The baking and food prep are definitely done onsite. I also had a lovely brief chat with the owner. Very nice and genuine. With the nearby park, community center, surrounding apartments/condos, and located down the hill from the Seattle Public Library - Broadview branch, I'm hoping that they will get further established as a anchor business. Great addition to North Seattle! Stop in for fresh baked goods and other cafe eats and bevs.

We came for the Turkish coffee and it did not disappoint--rich, strong, and infused with cardamom. The place has a cozy, thoughtful vibe as we saw people reading and just enjoying the moment. Don't forget to check out your fortune at the bottom of your cup, it's part of the Turkish culture and adds a fun, traditional touch. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic flavors and a peaceful atmosphere!

I enjoyed the sweet and savory goodies from this newish cafe called Radiant Flavors Cafe in the Bitter Lake neighborhood. I love that they make most everything in-house such as their delectably Golden Baklava and Honey Pistachio Croissant. Check them out and support small business.

I came here on a weekday afternoon. I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome and service was super friendly. I order the Turkish coffee, which was meant to be drank without creamer or sugar. It was very good tasting by itself. It stayed hot for super long in the to-go cup, that I had to wait at least 10 min to take small sips. I also ordered the Hawawshi - ground beef flatbread, which came folded and easy to eat as a handheld. The flatbread was tender and the ground beef was lean and seasoned well with spices and onions. I saw that they assembled it and put it in the oven, so not a premade item which was nice. I waited a bit under 10 min to get my full to-go order. Keep in mind that this is also a done in space with simple foods so a bit more restaurant-like.

Visiting Seattle and loved this place so much I came back two days in a row and I still have two more days left! There's a good chance I'll be here for breakfast every morning. Truly delightful! "Radiant Flavors" couldn't be a more fitting name for this exceptional café. The vibe, the flavors, everything shines.

Thank you for the delicious Croissant and the warm welcome!!

Owner is so sweet and very welcoming! My daughter brought me in and was excited to share this adorable cafe! Our treats & coffee were so delicious! This is a must try!!

Good menu with rotating seasonals. Pastries & snacks sold. CONS: Shockingly overpriced for what it is! Makes no sense. They've turned a $3.50 drink into a $10 extravaganza. Nothing you get in this store is unique, all of the add ons are very common all over Seattle. You'll get cheaper & proper Viet coffee in International District. Everything tastes like a milkshake. If you want a thick fancy shake with overpriced toppings go for it. Servers are not always friendly. Pastries look tired and stale. I'm sure they are good I haven't eaten one from the looks of it. Bad parking - you have to pay some random person to park now for what used to be a nice community pedestrian area with free parking. If you're local and can walk down, no problem. If you're driving, look for street parking behind the shop. Overall I bring tourists and out of town folks for a milkshake experience. If I'm pressed for time I go for a drink here and then curse myself every time for doing so. I never get caffeinated no matter what I order and it's always $10 gone. I expected this store to have some parking options for their customers but they don't even do that.

Their breakfast sandwich is literally $13 for a $5 sandwich. Today I had a simple drip coffee. This was $5.77 Then, you notice a jar for tips, and it has a sign that says, "You have already tipped, but jar is for more tips if you want to" So, yeah.... This means already damn expensive items having tipping built on top of the pricing, and the biggest issue is that you are tipping without your own choice, AND it is done before you have even received ANY service. Wait a minute.. there actually IS NO SERVICE. You order at counter. You operate the card reader yourself. The woman behind counter lifts a coffee pot, and pours it into your cup. That is literally all she does. Then you... go to the other counter to add your own cream. Nobody has come to my table to ask me if I want anything else, or how is everything, etc. Don't correct to clear your own table, because they have it set up for you to do that to. I forgot to mention the creamer was spoiled, so the coffee was not drinkable.
