    Pastry case (12/16/21)

Last time I was in was back on 2/10/20 and 2/12/20...back onsite on 12/16/21. Hello Diva Espresso @ Broadview, it's been awhile. Glad that all the Diva Espresso locations are doing well during the pandemic times. This Broadview location just opened before the initial pandemic shutdown in the former Bick's Broadview Grill location. I like the transformation, bright and spacious, and currently with festive decor for the holiday season. Folks are welcomed onsite as long as one had proof of C19 vaccination or negative C19 test within 72 hours. Remaining masked, unless eating or drinking. Yes, Seattle/King County you know the drill. Personable baristas, great coffee, other cafe beverages, pastries, and other usual cafe fare are available. I'm just going to hangout for a bit at the window counter, among the plants, facing towards Greenwood. Nice Christmas cactus in bloom too.

Hands down my favorite coffee shop to work from!! I am here at least once a week for a change of scenery while working. Nearly every table has access to an outlet for charging. I never feel out of place working here, because many patrons do so. There's plenty of seating and it's super cozy, since the building seems to be an old house. Service is great - everyone is super friendly. Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious because they heat them in a panini press. Drinks are always on point but can be a bit pricey ($8 ish for a dirty chai latte). They do have their own app to scan for rewards, so you can occasionally get free drinks. 10/10 for this diva location!! I've been to three other locations (145th, 80th, and harborview) and none of them have quite the same cozy atmosphere.

    12 oz Caramel latte

First time visiting this location, it's very spacious inside! Got a 12oz caramel latte and a sausage breakfast sandwich. The crew there is helpful and friendly, the coffee is a bit more roasty than sweet/smooth but wow is it beautiful! I was just rushing through/ taking to go and they were able to put a full leaf design on the top! They have a lot of seasonal/specialty drink options I'd probably try one of those next time. The breakfast sandwich was super good and toasted to perfection. Most the seating indoors was taken but they also have a back patio. Pulling off and parking immediately in front of the store can be difficult to pull back out into the busy street- I'd recommend parking on the side of the cafe instead of right in front

I really enjoyed my coconut milk cinnamon latte & gluten free pastry! So much so that I went to the Greenwood location the next day. I'll definitely be back again while in Seattle.

Amazing drinks and great vibe. The baristas are all personable and have an excellent eye for detail. Fantastic work environment if you need to get things done.

Parking is a factor (hence, the 4.5 star), only because you back into the main road, idk I'm not a very good driver either. This place was fairly busy coming in, the staff are friendly, fast, and efficient...take note to the mgr @HMC. This place is clean and inviting. Outlets are accessible everywhere, quite friendly to those who wanna sit in and do work, or cruise the internet, wishes do come true. Imma come back time and again. Thank you for having very good customer service for everyone to feel comfortable and welcomed.

Loved this place when it was Bick's. Nice to see Diva make it into a lovely new gathering space.

Good menu with rotating seasonals. Pastries & snacks sold. CONS: Shockingly overpriced for what it is! Makes no sense. They've turned a $3.50 drink into a $10 extravaganza. Nothing you get in this store is unique, all of the add ons are very common all over Seattle. You'll get cheaper & proper Viet coffee in International District. Everything tastes like a milkshake. If you want a thick fancy shake with overpriced toppings go for it. Servers are not always friendly. Pastries look tired and stale. I'm sure they are good I haven't eaten one from the looks of it. Bad parking - you have to pay some random person to park now for what used to be a nice community pedestrian area with free parking. If you're local and can walk down, no problem. If you're driving, look for street parking behind the shop. Overall I bring tourists and out of town folks for a milkshake experience. If I'm pressed for time I go for a drink here and then curse myself every time for doing so. I never get caffeinated no matter what I order and it's always $10 gone. I expected this store to have some parking options for their customers but they don't even do that.

I was in love with a co-worker at the time and the barista wanted to know all about her. They had cool music in the background, "fleet foxes" if my memory serves me right. It's encouraged to bring your own personal cup or dine in and you will be charged 25cents extra if you choose a to go cup. Vegetarian options available and plenty of alternative milk options. This cafe is very cute and homey. I went in during a very busy time with almost every seat taken so it was hard to look around so I'll have to return to look at the merch and more of the ambiance. Definitely a quiet cafe with dim lighting and most people reading, doing laptop work, or with headphones in. I highly enjoyed the outside seating with benches available. You are welcome to bring your cat or dog outside as long as you are respectful and pick up after any accidents or mess. The menu is much more affordable than other nearby coffee shops. A simple menu with an extensive list of syrups. For my first visit I chose a hot hazelnut latte with hemp milk. Coffee was standard and did the job. I also chose a pound cake with chocolate and vanilla which was okay but a little dry. I really appreciate and praise this cafe for caring about the earth and encouraging customers to dine in or bring their own personal cups. Definitely a cozy and solid spot in the area.
