They made a next-day appointment & phoned when they were on their way. A very knowledgeable technician - Josh arrived & after checking the plumbing in the basement, explained where the problem was. I had the option of hydro jetting or pouring a clog-clearing product called "Liquid Lightning" (which I never heard of) down the drain. I found the product at Walmart & used it as directed. So far, so good. I have two water heater replacements as well as other plumbing repairs coming in the near future & I will not hesitate to call Rockstar Plumbing. Unlike many businesses today, they are honest, knowledgeable, and (as advertised) don't charge for estimates.

Our old house (1937) kept surprising us with plumbing problems, and after years of unsatisfactory service from various plumbers, Flood Brothers were recommended to us, and it was a game changer! In the many years we've used them, they've done everything from major safety work underneath our house to fixing a clog in our sink. No matter how big or small the job, each time they do a job, it stays fixed! They are meticulously clean, thorough, caring, honest and explain each job completely before they begin. The price they quote is the price they charge, and they provide video of the work they do. They are absolutely magnificent!

Ultimately the problem was fixed in a timely manner. He quoted me a fair price and was wonderful to work with and in communicating. However, I wish his employees were a little more respectful and competent. After the first day of repairs, they left my side gate (exposed to the street) wide open. And then after the job was completely done, they hammered the old cast-iron pipes into several pieces on my yard so they could throw them in my trash can. The next day, I found my grass littered with cast iron pieces. Giovanni offered to come clean it up himself, but I had to clean it up by myself before my gardener arrived.

He's both analytical and methodical. He took his time to evaluate the situation, clearly communicate the work needed, and identify any potential issues. After work began, Patrick found two large roots growing in the drains that clearly needed to be addressed. He and his crew opened the concrete, replaced pipes, and even added new drains to help with the upcoming rain. He knew I was on a tight budget and found creative solutions to keep costs to a minimum. Being a woman with next to zero knowledge of plumbing, I could have been an easy target. I'm grateful for Patrick's honesty, kindness, and patience, even as I picked his brain on other trouble areas of my parents' home and my own home, with no promise of additional work. I never felt rushed to make a decision or given false promises. I even came out of this whole experience with a better understanding and appreciation for plumbing! My water heater had been giving me trouble over the last couple of months, shutting off sporadically. While I was usually able to reset it myself, it finally gave out completely. There was no gas coming through the line, and it just wouldn't ignite. I called Shellback, and within two hours, Moises arrived at my place. He was incredibly responsive, immediately diagnosed the issues, and gave me a clear breakdown of the work needed and the estimated timeline. The fix required replacing both the thermal pilot assembly and the gas control valve. Since the parts were covered under the manufacturer's warranty, he had to source them from an authorized dealer. To make sure we weren't left completely out in the cold, Moises got the gas ignitor working temporarily on day one. By 9:00am the very next morning, he had already picked up the warrantied parts and finished the permanent replacement! As a great bonus, he also flushed the water heater for routine maintenance before wrapping up. I was blown away by the turnaround time. From my initial call to a fully repaired, flushed system in under 24 hours. Exceptional service from Moises and the team. Highly recommended!
