What a great experience. I called in around 9am and they told me a tech was available between 1 and 2:30. They then followed up around 12:20 to let me know the tech is on schedule and should be there on time. JC, the tech arrived promptly around 1:15 and proceeded to check two clean outs for backups, snaked them both, then ran a camera through to verify the job. He even offered to run it through a third clean out I have (access is difficult and the water was flowing so I declined the offer) He then asked if had a coupon because they're running a special if I didn't. This company is incredible and JC is the greatest plumber I have ever encountered. Other plumbers I have encountered try their hardest to hustle you like a car salesman with their ridiculous prices. JC not only cares about his job, but he has a passion for it. JC explains what he is doing very thoroughly so you understand everything he is doing. He will also show you how bad the pipes, drains, etc really are. Over the weekend my tub was backed up with water for two days, JC used his snake and pulled out a bunch of hair. This past week I used Drain Solutions Plumbing quite a bit. I intended to install two low flow toilets for the rebates. However, one of my toilets had a rough-in (the distance from the wall to the bolt holding the toilet bowl) of 10 inches whereas the new toilets required a rough-in of 12 inches. I called Rick who stated that that it would difficult to find low flow toilets with a rough-in of 10 inches. He had his best worker, Alex, do this repair. Alex also installed an earthquake gas shutoff valve. Then, after receiving the two low flow toilets (American Standard brand), Alex installed them. We also had a problem with our rental house, as my tenant claimed the water was coming out tepid. Alex installed a new water heater and a new regulator. So I gave Drain Solutions Plumbing quite a lot of business this past week. I would recommend this contractor without reservation. I was very pleased with the very competent and professional service recently provided us by DSP for a clogged drain pipe that had to be replaced. Wow, a great experience! My bathroom sink was clogged and I saw that Drain Solutions had a coupon in a mailer for drain cleaning for $49. Seeing all the positive Yelp reviews, I gave them a call. Juan came out to unclog my sink and not only fixed the problem, but also adjusted my sink stopper to increase the water volume. He even helped me out with a small fix in my shower and wouldn't let me give him a little something extra for his trouble. He truly went above and beyond! My main sewage line was old/broken and needed to be replaced. Rick and Jaun were very professional, responsive and always left me with the ability to use at least one bathroom. I work from home so I watched their entire process. They were some hard workers... they dug multiple holes exteriorly and shot a fiberglass liner to restore my main line to avoid jackhammering my entire house floor up. They did have to dig one hole in my house and seal all rooms off with plastic barricades and placed the dirt outside. I must say they were very clean in process with the amount of Dirt they moved. Drain Solutions came to our apartment building and unfortunately they did a poor job. They told me they had hydrojetted the sewer but were unable to clear the pipe all the way to the street. Having had hydrojetting performed on earlier occasions I noticed that they did not have the equipment to do the job. They indicated that we would need to replace the sewer due to breaks in the pipe. I just had my sewer hydrojetted again by another company and I observed and was informed that the sewer did not need replacement. I am disappointed in Drain Solutions and will not be using them again. read more

I am a repeat customer of DSP and couldn't be happier. In the past I have had a new toilet installed perfectly. This time I also needed a sink and toilet installed in another bathroom and I had a clogged shower drain too. I called to set up the appointment and they were here early the next morning as promised. JC was amazing, so professional and friendly. I explained where everything was, and he got right to work. The sink and toilet were installed first and then the clogged drain was next. J C did a complete inspection of the situation and realized it was more than just a clog. He showed me what my problem was with a camera feed inside the pipes. I had a problem with a stuffed up toilet. The problem had lasted for about a month. I had used liquid bleach which temporarily ameliorated the problem. However, now the bleach would not work. I called Rick and he gave me the quote for basic service and the quote if more needed to be done. I asked about his availability the same day and he stated he could do the job later in the day and would call me back at the appointed time to get my address. He did call me back at that stated time and he came at the appointed hour. He used the snake to remove the clogged toilet. It must have taken about 5 minutes. He also recommended getting a new toilet in the near future due to the slow vortex. He would install the new toilet and remove the old one. His charge for the service was very fair.
