Had a sewage back up at a unit and Phillip put the job he was currently at on halt to take care of my problem. Due to it being an older house it had quite significant problems (old piping, no clear out,etc). He took care of the clog, add clear out, and also discovered the toilets that were installed were incorrect ones since forever and replaced both toilets as well. He also gave me advice on what he would do with the current drainage problem and what he would do temporarily, and or the future for my piping. With a 65 year old house, infrastructure problems are unfortunately somewhat common. A recent leak from a newer washing machine, and a snake into the old pipes did not correct the problem. This review is super overdue but I've used Quick-Flo twice now. The first time was when I was renovating a bathroom. Phillip replaced the old galvanized and cast iron pipes and with copper supply & ABS drains and left the bathroom ready for me to install the new fixtures. His work is super neat and he took proper precautions to keep the area clean and tidy. I later used him again when my water main pipe sprung a leak by the street. He showed up within minutes to diagnose. The leak was under a giant street tree so he re-ran a new line away from the tree so that future root growth shouldn't be a problem. One morning I returned home from a breakfast meeting to find the pipe to my hot water was spraying water all over the side of my house. Luckily it hadn't been going too long but it was sure to cause some damage if not repaired quickly. I called one company and got voicemail then called Quick-Flo, Philip answered and just happened to be passing my location so he got here within 5minutes. We had a handyman install a toilet a couple of months ago and we recently noticed some leakage at the base of the toilet. I texted Phillip on a holiday since we had the day off, and he responded quickly, asking if I could chat on the phone. He called right away and he gave a very educated guess (along with the potential associated cost if that was the diagnosis). He stepped away from his paperwork and came over within a half hour. Upon arrival he did something that separates the average from the superior- he put on booties. He's a dog person and had no problem with our doggie being around. Our dog quickly warmed up to him so we took that as a good sign! Upon removing the toilet he verified that his initial guess that the toilet was not level with the central flange/drain was correct. He also noticed that the valve for the water shut-off was starting to slightly fail. He quickly reseated the toilet, added some nice caulking and changed the shut off valve. No mess left behind, only good work! He kindly took a look at a primary bathroom faucet that had been leaking (couldn't replicate the issue, figured there was some debris causing the issue). He was a superstar and even hauled away the old toilet for us (very embarrassing to admit that it was sitting on our front porch) at no extra cost. It's rare to find someone that you feel you can instantly trust and has obviously been doing this for a long time, and I rarely post reviews (thank you to those who are much better about doing it because I rely on you a lot!), so hopefully that tells you how impressed we were with him.
