One of my favorite foods is a burger so I've had a lot of different kinds. This burger is just not that great. Ground beef was a little on the harder/chewier side and lacked flavor. Not visiting this place again but good I know now. Sweet potato fries also tasted questionable. read more

The Bacon Cheeseburger was great it had that classic burger taste that hits the spot every time! The turkey & Swiss melt was magnificent... next time I'll add jalapeños! Old fashioned hand cut fries were delicious, a bit greasy, but nothing a quick dab with a paper napkin won't take care of. Will be back!! read more

Cliff's has become one of my favorite burger joints. I can't stuff the food in my mouth fast enough! It's THAT good. It got to the point where I had lunch there every day for about 3 weeks. I even sat in the parking lot waiting for them to open! Sunday's were hard since they're closed that day :( An intervention was the only thing that saved me. The manager is very friendly and personable. He knows me by name now! I typically call in and order or place an order through the EatStreets app so i can earn coupons. The food is cooked fresh and tastes amazing, although I am not a huge fan of the handcut fries...but if handcut fries are your thing, then you'd probably enjoy them. I highly recommend you giving this little family owned restaurant a shot. You won't be disappointed. read more

One of the best if not the best! What can i say Friendly staff and great customer service from the get go. Great atmosphere with some old fashioned designs. Huge selection of choices I ordered the Kobe burger and Onion rings i can sit here and describe the taste for you all day but it wont compare to how good it actually is! I'll definitely be coming again on a regular basis if you're doubting trying this place. Take this review as a personal invitation to Go ahead and try it! read more

When I pulled up I was surprised to not to see Cliff's in a stand alone building. I must say, I never thought that I would find a Good Burger joint in a store front. Oh boy but I did. The atmosphere was perfect for family and friends to hang out and eat s good burger. From the the pictures on the walls to the ole school round tables to the high counter stools- it was pacs that could eat, converse with a good friend and relax. The service was great after I ordered my burger (Bacon Burger with fries and o rings) and while I was outside on the patio talking, my ordered was ready and delivered. But when they seen me talking they took the order back to the kitchen to keep it hot for me. The bun was large, which concerned me. Because I did not want all bun and no burger. But when I bit into my burger it was juicy and rather larger in my hands than I thought by pictures. It was so good and juicy that I was offered a lot of napkins. The fries were so good, just like my grandmother use to make. And the Onion Rings were humongous, good and fresh. I couldn't finish them all. -My Bad. I will definitely be back. read more

Now this is a burger! I got the Bison burger and was not disappointed. The patty was thick and juicy and it was fixed just the way I like it. Two napkin burger is always a good burger in my book. Also, I can't tell you how happy I was to see they had curly fries on the menu...Happy dance over here. read more

I had the Salmon Burger with fries- they were absolutely delicious, the fries! The Salmon Burger was amazing too. Great place to have a good burger and fries! read more

They were quick and nice. It was my first time here and I ordered online. My big complaint is their online descriptions are not descriptive enough. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. Every chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life spices the batter to make it spicy, but this place drenches the chicken in hot sauce. I added cheese and bacon which was completely canceled out by the hot sauce on the chicken. If I had known "spicy" meant they just add tons of hot sauce and not a spicy chicken batter, I would have gotten regular chicken. Otherwise fries are good and fresh ( need salt) and the food is fresh and tasty. Just not what I wanted. I'd go again, but we just urge them to be more descriptive online read more

Stopped by yesterday to grab a cheeseburger and fries to go. I've been here multiple times and burgers have always been fresh and good quality, even when ordered through a delivery app. I paid 23 bucks for both, which I don't mind for a good burger...But something was definitely off yesterday, the quality and texture of the meat patty was horrible and inedible, I gave it to my dog! The patty definitely looked and tasted like a frozen Sysco type patty, no seasoning whatsoever, and despite the fact that I requested it well done it was undercooked. I understand rising food costs, but don't cheat your consumer and give subpar ingredients for the same high quality ingredient price. I think I would have been more satisfied with a whataburger yesterday! I guess I should have looked at recent reviews, as I see I'm not the only one that has been dissatisfied recently! read more

Ordered them via DoorDash as I wasn't able to skip out of the office for lunch. Food was great! Had a cheeseburger with bacon - it was huge! Burger was cooked perfectly and just the right amount of condiments (mustard and mayo). Ordered a salad to eat with it (trying to be semi healthy) it was meh. I would definitely be back for a burger tho! It was great. read more

I've been trying to find that perfect burger and by golly it's here! I'd slap my momma for this burger!! And great service!!!

Place is nice size they have a few tables out front. First time I went, I got the burger their reg one can't remember the name w/ a side of chili cheese fries. Last time I went I just got the fries, the portions are big and the chili is so good. Oh and the owner is the nicest person/owner I've met and always greets you with a smile. He seems to remember his customers which is good to see. This is one of those spots you just wanna keep going back to. read more

Underwhelming and overpriced. The best item was the okra. The burger is something you could get at any fast food restaurant (frozen patty). The onion rings had batter that was falling off. The French fries were soggy. I had high hopes and was let down. read more

Open late on the weekends now for take out. Thick burger patties. I think 1/2 pound. French fries are good. For the price 5 stars. Will be back. read more

I just did not like this place, at all. It seems like a nice family-owned place so I really wanted to like it, but honestly the food was terrible. The burger was awfully bland and dry, no seasoning at all, on a soft diner type bread. The fries are the same, just straight cut, no seasoning, not even salt. Maybe it's the old-fashioned part but I've had fast dining burger places that were better. I also think part of the problem may be they have a huge menu so not much to specialize on. read more

Amazing hospitality and great food well definitely be going back. Don't have a picture of my food because it was that good.

Fries- plentiful and good looking but soggy. Had to place them in the air fryer before consuming. Burger- huge but taste like a frozen patty, non-seasoned and undercooked. Last but not least: Chili- inedible, would not feed it to animal or my enemy. Straight to the trash bin :(! Yes, great customer service but I'm NOT going for customer service, I'm going to feed my tummy. Very disappointed because all the reviews were so good (smh) !!!!!!! read more

Definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves a good burger! They have so many types of burgers, and at a great price. My food didn't take long to prepare and the people there were very friendly. My burger was HUGE and meaty. I had plenty of fries and they were very generous with the ketchup. For a huge burger, with fries, and a drink, my total came out to be about $10. Great price! I love supporting local businesses and you get a lot for your money here. Next time you want a good burger - skip Whataburger, McDonald's, etc and come here! Parking isn't hard and Cliff's has a couple of reserved spaces in front of the store. read more

The Murphy burger is definitely the one to get! That's what I ordered while my husband got the bacon cheeseburger. I tried his, and it was good, but I preferred mine. It's juicy! I like the atmosphere here too, very cozy and reminiscent of the good ol' days. The staff is nice and they've got a good menu for kiddos too! I wasn't a fan of the fries though--too greasy and/or dry, and the onion rings were ok, but the batter is way too thick and flakes off. read more

I was a regular when I lived in Houston, then have made it a required stop every time I come back to visit. Let me count what's great about this place: 1) The owners! Mike and Tammy are the greatest. Haven't lived in Houston in 8 years, and hadn't been in 4 years before recent trip... he still remembered me and greeted me like family! Although he did forget my usual (he used to be able to be able to just know when I walked in and start the grill cooking my burger) 2) the BURGERS! My go to is a bacon cheeseburger. Lettuce and tomato are always fresh and crisp. The patty always perfectly cooked to be juicy and delicious. The bacon always crispy and heavenly bacon tasting. Get it with some classic yellow mustard and BBQ sauce, you won't regret. 3) Fries... delicious, hot and salty, just like they're meant to be. 4) Atmosphere... cool little spot and combined with how friendly the owners are, it always felt like home. If I know I'm dying, I will definitely put this place on my last meal list (and continue to beg Mike to put my name on a burger...) 10/10 would recommend. Go check it out! read more

I didn't like the meat the taste was like no good meat. Liked low quality. Service was ok.

It was so good that I even forgot to get my camera out. Great burgers and even better owners. Nice family run business filled with great smiles. Ranch is amazing and homemade. Fried pickles are great too. Burgers are HUGE, they were bigger than each one of my friends heads, and that's saying something. Everything comes out hot fresh off of the grill. I'll be back as much as I can read more

I used to come to cliffs regularly when I was in high school. I don't know if I was younger and it's always been this bad, but I just paid $20 for a very mediocre burger and soggy gross fries. $20! Save yourself the disappointment and go across the street to south wells. read more

Cliffs Old Fashion Hamburger.... I've literally lived right across the street from Cliff's for a year and tried it for the first time this weekend. A week before I move. Lol And I'm so glad we did. Cliff's has been around since 1978, and it's a family owned business. You can definitely tell that Tammy, who's part of the family and greets you at the door, enjoys her job and loves what she does. I will be back for sure. read more

Went here after seeing good reviews online. Not a mistake. Got the Kobe beef 1/2 lb. special for $8.95 with fresh cut fries. Dipped the fries in some homemade ranch. Delicious!! Tea was fresh. Kids and wife like their food too. Kids got a cheeseburger and chicken strips. Both liked their meal. The couple the owned it were friendly. 5 2 top tables and 6 4 top tables. Also a small bar with 5 stools. The menu is much more than burgers. They have salads baked potatoes, chicken, and even breakfast on Saturday mornings. Give this place a try. Literally one of the best burgers I've had in ages. Tried this place because it's featured on my company lunch service app, LunchDrop, often. Gave it a go and have made about 3/4 orders since then. Great great burger! I was visiting the pub next door and decided to give Cliffs a try. It was such and cute cozy spot inside I was surprised in the space. When I walked in I was greeted by staff with warm and welcoming smiles. I can't remember his name but he told me he had been work there I believe 15 years. I'm thinking wow such dedication. Anyway my friend was on the way to join me so I ordered for us both. He had the Turkey Burger with homemade fries, and I had the Brisket Burger with onion rings. My friend had been before and stated it was so good so he was pleased. I loved my burger it was moist. Flavored, and the perfect size. My onion rings were hugh. Lol. I also liked how they delivered to the bar next door how convenient. They have an awesome menu including breakfast, chicken, and fish. I will definitely be back. The only think I didn't like were the fries. They had no flavor and they were super thick. read more

Super tasty and stacked Turkey burger, very flavorful and topped with fresh produce. The fries would have been better if they were more crispy. Will definitely return for the sandwich though.
