Cliff knows how to brunch! Their menu is so enticing it'll be hard to narrow down your order. We ended up asking our server for his recommendations and he suggested the Chicken and Waffles and the Cliff Breakfast. And both were delicious!! The wait staff was prompt and polite. The food was pretty good (a tad under seasoned) and the mimosas were perfectly prepared. I will say the vibe is a little different during the day than it is at night. Not bad, just different. Something to note: Every time I've visited the Cliff Dining Pub (and it's sister restaurant Cultivate Craft Kitchen) the host/hostess always ask I've made a reservation, eluding to the fact that we may not get in if we didn't. But each time, we can't help but laugh a little seeing as the restaurant isn't busy at all. This was our first time here. My mother and sister were in town and I have heard great things about this place so we decided to check it out. It was better than I expected. I stuck with the Japanese side of the menu as that is my favorite food. It was great and the whole table enjoyed the sushi nachos. Definitely a must. I'd been here before for a work function and had no control over the food that was ordered so decided to come back for date night to try some of the other menu options. The convenience of booking a table online is great! The service was great and the food outstanding. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful and prepared really well. My only complaints, if I had to pick a couple, is the stake n mac n cheese meal needed more steak and the prices for some meals seem rather high when compared to what you're getting (sushi nachos etc) Would certainly go back to try a few more menu items tho. read more

Sad to say this was a one and done for us. We went on Mother's Day to celebrate that and my husband's birthday celebration. Food was very average for the price. My husband got the fish and chips and the portions were small and he said it was a bit greasy on the inside. I had the pear salad and it was pretty good but felt pricey for the portion. We had heard good things and thought this would be a little more upscale of a pub, but didn't live up to the hype for us. We did appreciate when we asked our server about one of the dishes and he was very honest saying he didn't think much of it, which is rare in servers. He was also very kind and cheerful when taking our order but someone else brought it, which is fine, except he never checked back or refilled our drinks until we were done eating and ready to go. For me, a nice dinner consists of a couple things: delicious food and a really cool atmosphere. Cliff Dining has them both. Looking back, I kind of wish we'd opted for outdoor seating on the patio so we could better enjoy the view, but inside was nice as well. Our server was great-attentive and friendly and she gave a few suggestions since both myself and my dinner partner had never been here before. I had fish, my partner had chicken-both were very good. This might not be the place to bring children-it's a bit on the upscale side and kids might not appreciate it (at least mine wouldn't have at a young age). read more

I have been eating here for 2 years. First time I lived far away. Then, I moved 2 miles away and started regular. I bring friends from out of town and my son took his prom date on prom night for an epic experience. I have had the sushi, prime rib, and a dozen others. I brought business colleagues in town for ski. Old friends from out of town here for spring break. Everyone really. Autumn is my favorite but everyone has been outstanding. I usually pay a lot more for such a great experience. I have written perhaps 3 or 4 of these my entire life, and often I am treating on the company dime. This one is my fave on my dime or the boss. I really want to love this place, as Draper needs more good full-service restaurants. The restaurant has a great feel inside, and the view from the patio is amazing. That being said, the food is average at best and, for the price, not worth it. We've been here a few times, and the best things we've had are the fish and chips and the sushi nachos, which are good. I don't know if they are trying to do too much with the menu, but everything else has been lacking flavor or tastes off. (The halibut we had the other night was overcooked to the point of almost being inedible, and the chicken nachos had so much lime that you couldn't taste anything else.) We will consider going back for a drink and an appetizer but probably not for a full meal. read more

Love this place! All of their food is great, service is great, but this is mostly a sushi review. As people who lived in Hawaii for 3 yrs we have been deprived of good sushi in Utah. We will say this is the best we've tried here so far and I find myself craving cliff house sushi weekly! All the rolls are wonderful but my top 3 are the #1 Dynamite #2 Playboy #3 Ceviche. I was looking for a cute little date night spot and this seemed like a great option because of the view. The views are great of course. We requested the outside patio and they were able to get us in very quickly. Service was a little slow but she was great and helpful. We ordered the Calamari as a starter with a Painkiller and Corona. The calamari was very delicious and plentiful! The drinks were great as well. I also ordered the Mediterranean Pasta. I didn't enjoy it as much but it was fresh. The ambiance is very nice and they have a few fire pits and umbrellas outside to make the place very cute. My husband and I joined our two friends to have brunch at the Cliffs dining pub. We had an outside table which had a great view around the surrounding area. It's a large restaurant with plenty of seating indoors and out. I ordered the white cake French toast, which was very good, it was sweet enough that you did not need to add syrup to it. It comes with potatoes, but I swapped them for fresh fruit. My husband ordered the Ruben sandwich which he also enjoyed, he had the potatoes that came with the sandwich. had the best experience at Cliff Dining Pub last night! we were worried initially because the parking lot was PACKED, but when we walked in there was no wait and we got to sit on their patio which has incredible views. They have a really great food and drink menu. We started with drinks: My husband ordered an old fashion and I had a margarita. both were SO good. we will always rave about a place that makes our favorite drinks well. we ordered the calamari for an appetizer and then we got the steak mac n cheese and pesto pasta with chicken. All were incredible. we ended with some espresso martinis, the tiramisu and the vanilla bean butter cake which was to die for! Our server Alli was incredible. Cliff is going downhill. Service was average. The greeters although kind were catty like 17 year old school girls, waitress was kind however very slow to bring coffee and food was brought out cold. We had brunch and cold over easy eggs are not very appetizing. The potatoes had a good crisp although also served cold. No whipped butter for the French toast that was also served cold. We tried this place for the first time with a large group and the company was fantastic but the service was slow and the food was meh. Unfortunately we couldn't tip accordingly since we were in a large group (22% gratuity was automatically added which is higher than usual). My husband's burger was cold and his fries were under/over cooked. My salad was basically a ton of spinach with a small piece of chicken, onions I asked be removed that weren't, and fried cheese so hard I could barely cut it with a knife.
