Irish Melt, get extra basil mayo
Dan A.

Loved our time here! Connor was friendly and fast. Order the breadsticks and take home the extra, someone at your house will thank you! We got fish and chip ... light batter and very good. Top menu item. Coleslaw was fresh, cabbage still had a crunch, and easy on the mayo. We also got the Irish Melt that is turkey and bacon. What made this was a basil mayo that hit your taste buds after your taste! Ask for extra, it was that good. Irish Mule was made with Paddy's and was well done.

Best place for French onion soup and a beer. If you are looking for an authentic, family owned, Irish Pub, look no further. This place provides an original, relaxed, family-friendly environment for guests to enjoy. Service is fast and fabulous. The staff is friendly, patient and kind. The place does get packed, but never crowded. Belly up to the bar, rub elbows and make a new friend in Howell. You will not be disappointed here.

Michigan Salad is amazing! I got it with blue cheese dressing

First time here and it was fabulous. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was wonderful. We had a party of three and everyone enjoyed their entree. Thank you to Taylor, who made some good menu suggestions. The nacho is delicious and enough to share. The Michigan salad was so fresh. Loaded with blue cheese, cherries chicken and more. The Cleary's sliders (you get three) were so good and filling as you get a hearty portion of fries too.

Great place! Tasty bites and brews, staff is awesome too! Definitely worth the half block further past M59.

Best food in Howell. The ambiance is quite noisy though. I do recommend their fish & chips on Friday.

Wait staff are beyond nice, I've never had a bad meal there. I've had the chicken wrap, wings, artichoke dip, and salads.

Nice burger joint in Commerce. My "Beef" burger at 1/2 lb was large, well made, quite juicy and…read moretasty. The burger was made out of a blend of beef short rib and brisquet with fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and a specialty sauce. The sauce while good was something I would change in the future to straight up mustard as I think the burger would have been better based on personal preference. The burger also came with a side where I chose their house fries which were excellent and one of the better fries I have had in the area. Relative to staff and facility, the restaurant has a compact footprint which limits the amount of tables this business has along with counter seating. Something to keep in mind if you are headed here during busy dining hours like a Friday or weekend nite. Staff was very friendly with prompt service and nice followup throughout the meal. Overall a nice dining experience where if Burgers are your thing you should definately check this business out.

I really don't like giving bad reviews either, but I have to be honest. We waited almost a hour for our food. The place is not too big for seating, but there was one waitress. It took us 5ish minutes to be seated and another 10 for our order to be taken. The service was just very slow. As you know, I come for the biscuits and gravy at any place. My biscuit was hot, but my gravy was lukewarm which was odd. The flavor of them was just ok. The eggs did taste good. The breakfast burger I was told was good, but not something to rave over. I did not like that they had well water only. They definitely need to get an osmosis system. They offer bottled water but charge for it. I feel that's disappointing because you're forcing your clients well, not tap, water but they can buy a bottle? Well water has a very different taste and it was almost sour. The waitress however was a nice person. She was doing her best I'm sure. I'm sure the 2 cooks were nice people as well. The flavor of the food was not worth the wait and me giving it a second try however. I want to come back for the burger specials, but scared I'll wait a long time again for food.

Their menu is small, and I almost regretted stopping in -- especially with the loud, possibly inebriated customer at the bar. But, I did find something that intrigued me -- the Moe's salad. It was a large plate of lettuce, cucumbers tomatoes, lovely grilled mushrooms and olives (which I wish I'd seen on the menu because I would have asked them to leave them out) with a large sliced burger on top. There was also a LOT of bleu cheese. I'm not much of a fan of bleu cheese, so I ate some of it, but left a lot. The salad was pretty good, and certainly large. The iced tea was also perfect -- I didn't need to add any sweetener to it. It seems like one of those places that locals go to; most of the other customers were greeted by name as they walked in. I didn't have any pickles, though.

The jalapeno poppers were basically two jalapenos cut into eight chunks, the breading on the poppers was actually tuff and hard to chew. The side of onion rings were cold to room temperature at best and not flavorful. Our friends got the Reuben sandwich, there looked to be a 1/4" of meat and a 1/2" of coleslaw on the sandwich. Sorry, we won't be back.

I liked the chips, not sure if you can upgrade to fries, but I also got a garlic parm waffle fry with their aioli. It was tasty. We also tried the BBQ rip lollipops. They were meaty and filling. They came with celery and blue cheese or ranch, we got the blue cheese. I like that the ribs came with a veggie, good choice not to only do carbs as sides. I am sad that I did not try the lobster roll, but I felt that I should get what they are know for first before venturing outside the box. The people working here seemed friendly and helpful. We were able to order and pick up in a reasonable amount of time, it was packed here in general. I am not sure about using the QR code, I just went to their trailer and ordered in person. This place is a big expensive for what you get, it is typical of food trucks to have small portions and high prices. But, if you are eating here, you are paying for an experience. This is a party atmosphere for all ages. You can eat outside, which we did, or inside. They have lawn games outside and arcade games inside on two levels. I would eat at this place again. I would just like to see perhaps a larger fry portion or slightly cheaper burger price.

Very little meat in the tacos and a lot of the pepper sauce which was very sweet and overwhelmed all the other flavors (should have ordered it on the side). I'm not sure I will return.

I was told this was Fenton's best dining. Spinach and artichoke dip had no salt and the dip was grainy - almost gritty. It tasted better with salt. My ribeye was greatly overcooked, and for a $45+ steak, you want it cooked correctly. I sent it back and the second ribeye was somehow more burnt and also included a lot more fat. It was so bad it seemed almost intentional the second time. Mac and cheese tasted packaged/pre-made with grocery store bacon bits on top. The garlic potatoes were good. We waited for our check for 20 minutes after eating. Staff members were leaned against the bar and talking, scrolling cell phones, playing with their hair - while looking over at us repeatedly. I finally stood up to go to the front and three waitresses all came over at once and took my card. The manager came over to bring the card and apologized for the delay. Wouldn't come back - if this is Fenton's best, go to another town over for dinner!
