Lunch combo with Lori sandwich and English Cottage Salad

Had to park around the corner but that was no problem. Walked in and was able to order at the counter right away. We did have to wait for a table for just a few minutes as this is an intimately sized place with just a few tables. Noise level was not bad for as many people as were there. Staff were friendly and quick. I ordered the Lunch combo with Lori sandwich and English Cottage Salad, along with an Emo gourmet soda. Everything was delicious and perfectly portioned for a quick lunch.

This place is so cute and has great sandwiches. Hands down the best is the chickle!!! It's absolutely amazing and I think I could eat it everyday!

First time visiting here since new ownership and it's still amazing! Fresh bread, high quality ingredients, our go to sandwich joint in downtown Howell. We visited here on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed! But they were moving at a good pace and the wait was not long at all. Not much indoor seating so we did have to take it to go. The store does get a bit cramped when they're that busy but other than that it's a cute store. Very clean and inviting. Will be returning! Great sandwich joint!

This was an adorable spot that was on my come back and try list since I saw it this fall at the Sunday farmer's market. I especially wanted to come here to try their gourmet sodas. There has been a lot of hype about those soda shops out West that do different pop combinations and we wanted to try some. I finally found a place here in Michigan, which was not easy. My child and I both got the hipster. It was Dr. Pepper with several syrups and a cold cream foam. It was very good and refreshing. They have so many combinations. I typically drink diet coke, so next time I visit, I will try a diet version, but I wanted to try some sort of dirty Dr. Pepper rendition. It is a cute tiny shop with a few tables. Their sandwiches do look very good and their pickle dip sounds amazing. We love pickles. I know this is a tiny small business, but I feel like a gourmet soda shop might work in other locations. I think people in Michigan would be open to having this type of place in the marketplace, in case the people who own this shop are looking to expand.

I really like the crunchy pickle for a quick lunch. Their sandwiches are made with select deli meats like prosciutto, mortadella, salami, pepperoni, and more. I also tried their charcuterie box for 1 and loved it, especially the dill dip. I need to try a panini next. I also love their soda mixed drinks. I tried the watermelon with cucumber, but would modify it use sprite in the future instead of bubbly water. I'm just not a bubbly water fan. I also have tried out the btterbeer with coke, and it was divine!

Man! The food was bussin! (Spectacular)! And the atmosphere was gratifying. The alley entrance is worth the walk (which isn't far at all. I just had surgery and made it no problem.. but yes everything was fresh and my wife no longer accepts subway as a sandwich option, thank you to the staff at The Crunchy Pickle!!!

This place was recommended to my friend and we went here for a late lunch. The place was decorated super cutely for October and the service was great! We loved the concept for the menu items. I ordered The Joe and The Mean girl while my friend had The Carmella with a side of balsamic dressing and Hot Girl. If you are a meat lover like me you will really enjoy The Joe, it was thick and packed with meat. My friend also enjoyed her meal especially the not too sweet peachy drink. I really enjoyed the cream, cherry, and lime combination which I've never had before. Overall, great place but certainly on the pricier side compared to other places.

A fantastic family run sandwich shop specializing in gourmet Italian sandwiches,Italian sodas and Gelato. Each sandwich is made to order and the staff is super friendly. They offer about 12 different sandwiches served on Artisan bread. A Gluten Free option is available. I ordered The Joe which had Pepperoni,Spicey Capicola,Prosciutto,Sun Dried Tomato cream, sliced mozzarella and a spring mix. Absolutely fantastic! Fresh, flavorful and lots of meat. My daughter's family is friends with the owner and they even made a gourmet soda just for me..the Choco Papa which was Coke,Chocolate syrup and Cherry syrup..delicious. brought back memories of my childhood! THANK YOU! When in Historic Downtown Howell after shopping in the quant shops, stop in and give The Crunchy Pickle a try...you will not be disappointed! I can't wait to try another sandwich!

Excited for lunch at this family run eatery we've heard so much about

Super cute place. Decent parking area out front. Had a 1/2 sandwich and broccoli cheddar soup. Both were very good. Would come back.

Very small amount of meat for 14.25. Should have gotten Jimmy John's. Bottled lemonade was not good. Nice place but pricey for what it is.

We had a larger group, about 12 (10 adults, 2 kids) and were seated at an "L" shaped table formed by pushing 2 differently shaped tables together, meaning half of our group couldn't see the other half without having to swing around or endure a cricked neck. Our server was pleasant, and attentive in the beginning. Before our appetizers had even arrived, we were already being asked for meal orders. Kinda felt rushed, but put our meal orders in and the appetizers came out. They were all very tasty, and the new pickle fries with ranch were very tasty. Would have been better if the silverware came out before the appetizers came, but maybe the wash washers were backed up from the all of the prom diners that were just leaving. Either way, we had a Second Lady bringing over silverware, so we had to wait to eat until she got there. Shortly after, our entrees arrived, also very delicious! I got the "Pick 2" BBQ items with 2 sides. One of my sides was incorrect, but the severs corrected it the mistake quickly. At this point, the entire table needed refills but the wait staff had completely disappeared for our half of the dining room. I observed other tables (like a couple in a booth kitty-corner from us) was looking around for assistance while I was. It was nearly 30 minutes before a server swung by again to get empty plates out of the way. I don't know if they were trying to get us to leave or what, but joke's on them, we still had presents and cupcakes to do! After our table was FINALLY cleared of enough played and empty cups to conclude our birthday celebration, we enjoyed our cupcakes from M Street Bakery. The wait staff didn't offer us any clean small plates so we had to have our deserts from their wrappers or off of our leftover dirty plates. Honestly, we could have asked for desert plates but we should have been offered them by the waitstaff. Our group explained in the beginning that we're would have separate checks, and when the checks came,it took multiple times for the splits to be done correctly, and one check had to be voided and a credit card transaction had to be refunded and Ran again because the wrong check was charged for the wrong items. I'm willing to give Block Brewing another shot, not on a holiday/school weekend. Maybe we had walked in after a HS dance tornado had just blown through, and everyone was just pooped. It just kinda felt like our whole group was kind of an afterthought and we were put in a corner: out of sight, out of mind.
