Nice surprise. Very affordable and tasty. Don't miss out on the saganaki flaming cheese. Friendly staff.

Kids Fish and Chips, generous portion size.

This is the best Greek diner in Livingston County. I've been going here since I was a little girl and I was a weekly regular when I still lived in the mitten. I make sure to stop by when I visit home and it never disappoints. Very consistent. One of the best restaurants in Brighton and it's still affordable. Get the Saganaki and the Greek Chicken Salad. Best dressing ever. Better than Leo's and I would argue than any restaurant in Greektown.

A Greek avocado toast has a tasty balsamic reduction glaze drizzled over the top.

The Greek avocado toast is so tasty. It has fresh avocados, mashed on top with fresh lemon and two scrambled eggs with a balsamic reduction glaze drizzled over the top.

Great place for breakfast with my sweetie!

Ashley F was our phenomenal server this morning. Packed parking lot but we were able to get a table, and our food came out freaky fast. Hot, cheesy, scrumptious farmer's omelette with mouth-watering rye toast and hot, delicious coffee. The do take their 3% with plastic payment, but this morning it was well worth it.

Very good food, friendly service. We were there at closing time, and the staff was a bit busy closing down, but everything tasted great!

4 stars as far as a coney goes. It was just what you would expect. Good food, consistent with a Coney Island and fast friendly service.

Breakfast was terrible. The scrambled eggs were burnt, sent them back and then the whites were raw. Clearly not a breakfast destination.

The kids love the chicken lemon rice (avgolemono) soup. You can buy it in quarts at the counter (not online). Serves 2 hungry children (it's 4 servings but these kids love soup!) It is not an extremely lemony soup, very subtle but flavorful. I've also had the gyro pita with feta and tzatziki several times and it never disappoints. Great meat to bread to filling ratio. Lots of meat, sauce, and feta is important to me. Fries are good as a side or you can get your own soup since the kids ate the whole quart. Staff is friendly and helpful. There's never anyone eating in so we usually have the dining room to ourselves. Seems to be mostly a take out / food delivery service place.

Visited on a cold Sunday evening. The place was slow and pretty empty. Parking is rough. Lucky if…read moreyou can find a spot in the lot otherwise you have to park in the parking garage. You enter in the back of the building and go down a small hallway. Inside has high ceilings and lots of seating. Some high top bar, tables and then a row of booth seating. Place felt clean. We ordered on a kiosk. Lots of different options, some non Greek stuff as well. Such as my dad got a burger. Our food came out staggered. First the hummus/bread, then the mezze plate, then entrees. Everyone enjoyed their food. The mezze plate was my favorite - had a little bit of everything to try. They serve their grapeleaves cold which I prefer. Falafel was a little dry but the dips/hummus helped. Spanikopita had a good crunch outside and yummy filing. Staff were fine - did not interact with them too much other than bringing out food out. Pop machine is serve yourself. Noticed signs that said they would clean up your table. Bathrooms were by the cash register and single stall. Dessert was yummy with rice pudding. It was creamy and a good portion.

Service was spot on too, super friendly and attentive without being too much. We went on a Monday evening during the Detroit fireworks, which made it even more fun. Food-wise, the traditional Greek dishes were the highlight. The saganaki was done perfectly, the lamb shank in tomato sauce with rice was rich and comforting, and the gyro was easily one of the best we've had. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to try more dishes.

I lived in Astoria for a couple of years, and could walk to some great Greek restaurants. But I've never had anything like this. First, the dolmas were hard and dry. I've always had them quite wet, basically marinated, and these were bone dry. No ground meat was detectable. The taramousalata was just...flavorless pink fluff. It wasn't even salty! And we were served a basket of bread that was probably the highlight of the meal, in that it was actually pretty good bread -- but it wasn't pita! I've never not been served pita bread with mezze dips. They were out of the grilled octopus, but suggested the cold octopus instead?? I'm not sure why, but at least that was also edible. The retsina I was brought not only had an off chemical taste (and I love a good, piney, resin-y retsina), but it tasted very watered down. My friend said his spanakotiropeta was OK, at least, although he agreed with me on the rest, which is a shame, because I LOVE taramousalata, and I was excited for him to try it.
