This is the best Breakfast spot in Howell. Food is amazing GREAT quality and the sausage is the best I have had. Service is the best and the owners (Rez) truly care about their customers.

This unique omelet is soooooo good. American dining with a Greek flare. Why go anywhere else? I love the food!

food quality is average at best, watch the math on your bill, much higher than expected at cash out. Never going back.

Breakfast sandwich was amazing, staff was very friendly! I carried out. It was a Wednesday morning, they seemed a bit understaffed.

I've had it made for me by Greek expats, I've had it from the Livonia Hellenic bakery (whose is very good), I've had it elsewhere too, and honestly, I just haven't ever been too into it. I thought I just wasn't really a fan of spinach pie...until I had The Laundry's!!! Theirs is a deep dish version with layers and layers of phyllo and a few secret ingredients that the chef wasn't willing to share (of course I asked!) It was incredible and truth be told...it was the best part of my first experience at The Laundry. We also ordered a proper lunch with a couple sammies and some French Onion soup. My girl ordered the Croque Monsieur and I ordered the #97. I liked hers and she preferred mine so we swapped. The potato salad they brought with my 97 was just meh....the potatoes weren't cooked all the way and the mayo-yogurt based dressing was kind of a bummer, but the two different styles of pickles we ordered helped carry the sandwiches. Service was beyond excellent and we felt well taken care of.

Nice place. Very trendy. Super busy. The bathroom is in the worst location! Just a warning…read more I had the mini chopped salad and it was great. I think it was $7. I added the French onion soup for $11 and it was the perfect lunch. The soup was excellent, except there was way too much cheese! Half the bowl was cheese. I love that the flavor was there yet I had more broth than onions. Oddly enough, French onion soup is one of my favs, but I don't want to eat the onions! They have a great selection of coffee drinks. I got the iced sweet and salty with no vanilla syrup. It had a salted caramel cold foam atop of cold brew. I mixed it all up and had a deliciously creamy drink!

I've found Williamston's Grand River nee "Main St." to be endearing and active every time…read more I've visited, which because of my daughter's athletics has been a lot recently. Shops, eateries, and public parks make the space walkable and consumer friendly. The Sun Theatre, an old school façade movie theatre brings entertainment to the community and Williamston Theatre, with its local thespian scene, is a fine attraction for those looking for in-person comedy, romance, or thriller stories. This vibe is equal parts nostalgic and familiar. Like a Hallmark Channel holiday special in living color. Such is the vibe that this month's review, That New Place, exhibits and revels in. From the lunch counter seating options to the tables organized by the ceramic miniatures that occupy them to the deli case filled with delectable pastries, this place is simultaneously fresh and reminiscent of prior eras. The staff welcome you in unison and usher you out the door with similar hospitality and well wishes for your return. If you go on the weekend, prepare to wait because it has become a popular destination for the bedroom community and surrounding locales alike. Opened in 2023, by delightful and warm owners Carrie Ballou and Ray Priebe, in the location of a former bakery, the tradition of scratch baked goods serves as a foundation for breakfast and brunch flavors from morning to midday. The dine-in or take-home options are in abundance, and the daily specials are sure to have something for everyone. What's Good I visited That New Place on a Friday afternoon with one of my very best friends who was in town from Atlanta as she was home visiting family. It was busy and the owner expressed her apologies for the delay in the delicious Blueberry Peach Crumble Cake ($8) arriving to our table. She was so sincere that I couldn't help but offer grace. The cake was scrumptious and light but could have been heated just a touch warmer. My bestie ordered the Mixed Greens Salad with Mojito Chicken ($15). The tender cuts of chicken thighs were sweet from the orange-based marinade, and the lemon vinaigrette offered a citrusy bite of sour. The only drawback was the mixed greens were nearly all spinach. I had the same protein on the Mojito Chicken Sandwich ($15) which is served open face atop garlic toast with a spread of hot honey ranch and topped with house made Coleslaw. This sandwich was a hit. All of the components complimented each other in terms of flavor and texture. What's Really Good My first visit was mid-week, and I sat at the counter. At first, it seemed like I was the only one who didn't know anyone as conversations between staff and guests were boisterous and gleeful. Then I realized, that was just the culture of That New Place- no one leaves a stranger. I ordered a la cart Two Eggs ($4), Chicken Breakfast Sausage ($5), Pork-Bo ssam ($6), Hot Potatoes ($5). Every bite was a triumph over the previous. The eggs were fluffy and cheesy. The chicken sausage was flavorful, savory and cooked with the right amount of crisp when you bit into them. The Pork-Bo ssam was awesome. Shredded pork shoulder prepared in a traditional Korean fashion with notes of ginger, star anise, garlic, and onion, and black tea. It's not the first thing you think about when breakfast is of mine, but maybe it should be. Still, the potatoes were even better- slathered with the same hot honey ranch that cuddled the open sammy above. Crispy outside and tender inside, but that dressing will have me trying to recreate it in my own kitchen soon enough. Sweet and spiced with red pepper flakes, garlic, onion, and fresh herbs. You're going to want to give these a try. Best Bite The pastries. Period. They are worth braving the construction induced detour in and around town to arrive back on Grand River. I mentioned the Crumble Cake before, but on my prior visit, I ordered two Scones ($5/two) and wish I had the courage to take some home. The first was a Candied Ginger Peach which was soft and sweet in all the ways you want for breakfast. The Blueberry Thyme scone was also soft, but the savory thyme played so perfectly with the fruit that it could be starring on a stage in town as the crowd chants "Encore". Bravo

We came here for my birthday dinner. It was a prom evening but most of the group dates were in…read moretheir way out to make it to the dance when we were getting seated. We had a larger group, about 12 (10 adults, 2 kids) and were seated at an "L" shaped table formed by pushing 2 differently shaped tables together, meaning half of our group couldn't see the other half without having to swing around or endure a cricked neck. Our server was pleasant, and attentive in the beginning. Before our appetizers had even arrived, we were already being asked for meal orders. Kinda felt rushed, but put our meal orders in and the appetizers came out. They were all very tasty, and the new pickle fries with ranch were very tasty. Would have been better if the silverware came out before the appetizers came, but maybe the wash washers were backed up from the all of the prom diners that were just leaving. Either way, we had a Second Lady bringing over silverware, so we had to wait to eat until she got there. Shortly after, our entrees arrived, also very delicious! I got the "Pick 2" BBQ items with 2 sides. One of my sides was incorrect, but the severs corrected it the mistake quickly. At this point, the entire table needed refills but the wait staff had completely disappeared for our half of the dining room. I observed other tables (like a couple in a booth kitty-corner from us) was looking around for assistance while I was. It was nearly 30 minutes before a server swung by again to get empty plates out of the way. I don't know if they were trying to get us to leave or what, but joke's on them, we still had presents and cupcakes to do! After our table was FINALLY cleared of enough played and empty cups to conclude our birthday celebration, we enjoyed our cupcakes from M Street Bakery. The wait staff didn't offer us any clean small plates so we had to have our deserts from their wrappers or off of our leftover dirty plates. Honestly, we could have asked for desert plates but we should have been offered them by the waitstaff. Our group explained in the beginning that we're would have separate checks, and when the checks came,it took multiple times for the splits to be done correctly, and one check had to be voided and a credit card transaction had to be refunded and Ran again because the wrong check was charged for the wrong items. I'm willing to give Block Brewing another shot, not on a holiday/school weekend. Maybe we had walked in after a HS dance tornado had just blown through, and everyone was just pooped. It just kinda felt like our whole group was kind of an afterthought and we were put in a corner: out of sight, out of mind.
