I was charged incorrectly for my tab and treated as though I was the problem for questioning it. My bill was presented at approximately $22. After I handed over my card, the receipt came back at $44 -- double the amount. When I calmly questioned the discrepancy, I was told I would have to pay the inflated charge and was informed I was no longer welcome. A bouncer was called while I was simply disputing a billing error. A manager later removed the extra charge, confirming the mistake. However, no apology was offered for the escalation or for telling me to leave over an error that wasn't mine. Customers should be able to question a billing discrepancy without being intimidated or asked to leave. read more

We eat there on 3/22/26 with a group of 9 and were very disappointed with the service and several of the dishes served. I asked the server twice for sugar for my ice tea and a child's menu but they never arrived so after a lengthy wait, got them myself. Two of us ordered corned beef and both were very salty and neither were finished. One ordered brisket which was at least 50% fat that should have been trimmed off before plating. Two ordered the Lumberjack, 1 with a generous portion of pulled pork and it was excellent, the other with a very small overly fatty piece of brisket and it also disappointed. The sliders were good but were not servers with the side dish. After asking twice it finely made to the table as we were finishing our meal. read more

This was our 2nd time coming to this place. The first time, we had burgers and they were very good but the ambiance wasn't very appealing. We went back for a snack, given the last visit was OK. I had a pizza with pepperoni and ham, while my wife had the loaded potato bites. Um, these were terrible selections by us - DO NOT order ham on your pizza. It is cut in blocks and it is closer to pork belly than regular, thin, lean normal ham. Lots of fat, which added to the overall heavily greasy pizza. I could literally hold up a slice and watch it drip grease - so gross. My wife's loaded potato bites tasted like German potato pancakes in a doughy ball. Give me normal potato skins please. I'm sure someone out there might like these but we certainly didn't. The bartender (Renee) was great - professional, courteous and responsive. She made the situation better. Likely not coming back here. It's a bit of a shame, as everyone was waiting a long time for this place to reopen. We'll leave it up to others to keep this business in business. read more

I didn't pick the place, but I do wish there was a private room for events because we played trivia with just our company and I could see other people staring since we were out in the open of the restaurant. My husband and I stopped in for a drink and to check things out. Ordered a Cherry Wheat which was on their beer list and the waitress said they didn't have it after trying to ring it in and couldn't find it on the device they take orders with. Ended up getting a seasonal they had on draft that was only slightly chilled. Husband got a sneaky spicy margarita. Overpowered with cucumber. The tequila used is a cucumber jalapeño. Just be prepared. Live music was good. I didn't have cash so couldn't tip him. There was also no ATM which kind of suprised me. The bar is pretty small. They have keno for those who like to play. The food is very good, but I personally don't like their house barbecue sauces. The mustard one tastes like almost pure yellow mustard and the others have no depth. They smoke their brisket very well though, and all the food that didn't require bbq was good. I love their poutine- they have a ton on cheese and the sausage gravy is delicious. Most of the tables are high top, which I don't like, but there are regular seating options. It's a bit of an echoey space so it can get loud, but the inside is a neat mix of modern and woodsy which looks pretty cool. read more

Was in the town of Howell & decided to stop for lunch at the Log Cabin. They had their outside patio open but due the extreme heat no one was eating outside. But if it was cooler it would be a nice place to eat & it's dog friendly! Inside is nice cozy feel with a selection of high top or tables to sit at, hostess said we could sit where we wanted. Waitress came by quickly for drink orders etc but then after we put in our food order we waited...& waited for the food to come out. We waited over an hour. But finally the food came out & oh my goodness it was soo good! I had ordered the Avocado BLT w/out fries & substituted for potato salad. My son & husband ordered the pulled pork Mac & cheese bowl. One had side of beans and other had side of loaded tots. They said their food was really good & I loved my sandwich but the potato salad was AMAZING!! Waitress said the manager was learning to exopodite the food so that caused the kitchen to be backed up. It has been a very long time since we have been able to get out there, but the food was memorable & when I did a search for "Curbside service available" - Log Cabin was on the list!! But sadly when I called for the 2nd time (the 1st time I was hung up on) I was told NO they do not have curbside service & I was hung up on again!! I understand a noisy restaurant can make it hard to hear a phone call But when a phone is answered I expect to hear a voice at the other end representing that restaurant Not sure if it's worth the trip anymore read more

First time today for lunch. Very disappointed. I ordered the ribs. They had such a hard crust, they were virtually inedible. I feel like I had yesterday's ribs. The beans have an unusual taste that I didn't care for, and the cornbread was ice cold. Service was great though. The other meals in our group were two large salads and the homemade sausage. We tried Log Cabin on the recommendation of our daughter. It did not disappoint! As first-timers, our server, Taylor, was excellent with recommendations and explaining things. She was all around efficient, friendly and approachable. First we ordered the garlic bread sticks with dipping sauce. It was beyond our expectations. I had the best chicken sandwich of my life! It was the chicken club but I chose Swiss over cheddar cheese. It was amazing - juicy, marinated, cooked to perfection, just fantastic. My husband enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich. Taylor was great at explaining all the sauces to him. He opted for the tater tots in place of the fries and like most restaurants, I imagined regular mass-produced tater tots out of a freezer. Instead, it was like a deep-fried, slightly spicy, mashed potato ball. I don't often eat deep-fried food but those are an exception. They were unique, creamy and delicious. Service was terrible; we spent half an hour waiting for breadsticks. They blamed it on the rush even though we ordered before the rush with our food order at 6:35p. The rush was at 7:15p. We spoke to the manager, and she did not even apologize for us waiting for over 30 minutes just blamed the oven. She did not even offer to take off the bill. The waitress kept walking by, not saying anything. Poor service and management on Wednesday evening.
