a man sitting at a table with two plates of breakfast food

Came here on Mother's Day morning spur of the moment around 10am. We got there just in the Nick of time. The food was tasty (omelette and OJ) & lots of menu items but the service was a bit....disconnected. Didn't seem like they wanted to be there and weren't very inviting.

Would have probably given 3.5 stars, but rounded up. Solidly good food, and good prices although they have gone up recently. Still, their steak dinner is a really good deal. We've been a few times and never been disappointed, although I have to say nothing so far has stood out as crazy good either.

No Mask! Captured from video. Blew up women in photo not wearing a mask that was asked to give me my meal to you can better see.

Upset that this place is not following the mask mandate. This is a restaurant serving food. The lady in the background I noticed was inside sitting down talking to someone. She was not wearing a mask. She should not be just hanging out regardless. I went in and paid for my order I ordered and the cashier asked that lady without the mask to grab my meal for me which was right behind. My meal was right behind the cashier on the table at the end where customers normal eat at. I could just as easily grabbed it which I did. Seriously, we are in the height of this pandemic, restaurants are supposed to be closed to indoor dining right now. The Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association just lost their bid to allow indoor dinning, and we have this going on in our restaurants? I'm fed up with it. I have to caregive for my parents, one who is extremely high risk. I cannot always cook for them and have to rely on take out, especially days like today when I had PT. I where a N95 respirator doing my treatment which is essentially working out, and you have people that cant even wear a basic surgical mask sitting in a restaurant like this? I wont even get into the fact I got the wrong Pita. I'm more concerned about the lack of safety happening at this restaurant.

A great hidden restaurant. A change of pace from Mimis but, both are worth the visit.

Food is always fresh. We typically only eat there for breakfast. Only ask would be they use real swiss cheese rather than processed.

This is a typical Coney. Servers can go either way, but they're human. Who knows what they have to deal with. Food is ok, arrives timely.

The food and drinks are reliably tasty and consistent, and the service is fast and friendly. The expansive menu offers something for everyone-- classic bar fare with a twist, build-your-own pizza, lots of healthy options, and if you have any food issues, they can and will accommodate you. Some of my favorite menu items-- fresh & unique salads, wraps, and sandwiches, plus some of the best parmesan garlic boneless wings I've ever had. We've tried several different dishes over the years, and have never been disappointed. Their ranch dressing is a must-have add-on (even if you're just dipping your fries or wings... it's so good!) And they can really shake up a solid margarita! The building is huge, as it is an athletic complex with a games area, gym, and banquet center. The bar and restaurant space is in the front, offering plenty of bar, booth, and tabletop seating for both small and large groups. We avoid the nights when the corn hole/fowling area is being utilized because it tends to get so loud from all the people playing & cheering, you can't even hear yourself think! All in all, The Lift remains one of our go-to spots for a quick meal that satisfies! Bring your friends, hang out, watch a game, and grab some grub! :)

The ambiance was not as fun as I would have expected but of course the crowd determines that. Took some time to get greeted, drinks, and (complimentary which is a nice touch) bread and butter. Good news bad news that because that took some time our dinners came out almost immediately afterward. The Michigan Salad was good but overpriced at $18 especially when that doesn't include chicken. Asked my husband if it was as good as the last one he had at a neighborhood grill and the answer was no. So 3 stars there. 3 stars also for the chicken picatta. Chicken piccata is my favorite dinner dish so I've had it at quite a few places. This one just didn't have much flavor. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the asparagus was great, but the piccata sauce just wasn't it. Neither were the mashed potatoes. Good portion and overall good dish, just doesn't compare in flavor to other restaurants. The owner (I assume) came by every time to ask how things were which is always very much appreciated. The live music was great, patio beautiful. Inside which we saw on our way out looked much livelier with sports on. We'll definitely go back and sit inside to enjoy a game! As we left we were thanked for coming by two different people at the door. It's always fantastic when this happens.....when you feel like your patronage is appreciated you'll go back again and again. :)

There is so much to look at in here and I love the big open dining room. They do live music Wednesday - Saturday from 7-10 pm and have a beautiful outdoor patio. I got the pork tenderloin dinner which was served with mashed potatoes and green beans. My daughter got the Cajun Alfredo and was able to substitute regular grilled chicken to suit her palate. Everything was delicious and came out quickly. I will definitely come back again .

We experienced about an hour wait before we were seated, they were really busy. The wait after we ordered was a bit frustrating, it was about an hour until our food arrived. The server was attentive and apologetic but they must have been super backed up. I started with the cherry ginger beer mocktail and it tasted like cherry soda. I ordered the Greek salad and found it to be a little heavy on the chickpeas but the dressing was good and light. We started with the lemon ricotta & bread- it was really tasty but the way that it was served was a little awkward in a small jar. As a shareable, it would be easier in a more open bowl, easier for more people to access. We also got the lamb meatballs and it came with pita and tzatziki- I enjoyed it (not spicy fyi). My sister got the miso salmon and I had food envy, that was the best dish at our table. It had a really nice sweet glaze on it with rice and broccolini.

Truth is though...a restaurant is about eating, right? There's no half a star option so gotta go with 2. First, as you can see from the photos the place is absolutely beautiful. The service was top notch! Kind and welcoming hostess as we entered and greetings from a different one as we left. Server Chelsea (Chelsea P I think) was absolute perfection. I'm glad I finally remembered to get the server's name to give recognition where due. The food though.... My NA drink was beautiful and kudos to them for having options. If I remember correctly though it was $12 and the serving was so small. It was good, not excellent. Can get an alcoholic drink for $12. Maybe not here? Didn't check. Greek appetizer plate for $18....hummus, tzatziki olives feta cheese and bread were great. The portions of hummus and tzatziki were incredibly small. Basically a ramiken. The tomatoes and apricots were not good, and looking back at the menu description I'm realizing we didn't get peppers on ours. Lamb burger and upgrade to parmesan fries. I've never had a bad lamb burger or parmesan fries in my life...til now. The burger had zero flavor and same with the fries. The fries were warm when served and immediately went cold. Had me thinking they weren't cooked fresh. Our server was kind enough to offer some house made chips that would normally come with the burger so that we could taste them (if we didn't do the upgrade to fries). They were ok, but personally I don't come to a restaurant to eat chips. I hate that over the past couple years the trend with restaurants is to give you chips and make you pay if you want fries. Can get chips at a gas station. I digress. Lemongrass Grilled Chicken sandwich. I was really excited for my husband to get this but he too was incredibly disappointed. Hardly any chicken, no flavor, lots of bread that overwhelmed the sandwich. He was disappointed in his quickly cold fries as well. All in all with tax and tip a $75 bill which is just crazy for what we had/the quality. The worst $75 ever spent on a meal. I asked my husband how he'd rate Atlas since I was torn (and it was an early bday celebration for him ugh) and he said well below average especially since the only great food items were olives, feta, hummus tzatziki and bread...which are not special to the restaurant.

AWESOME ! We were a little hesitant about finding a restaurant as grandson just started going through the process of determining food sensitivities. My daughter called ahead to check about gluten-free options on the menu as the list of what he can and cannot eat is very limiting at this time and he is still figuring things out which can be rough for a high school senior. We were seated promptly in the front window area and Shannon S. was our server. Now I don't know if Shannon was told to expect us, but she hit the ball out of the proverbial park. Not only did she suggest side options for grandson, but when questions about ingredients were asked that she couldn't answer she went to the kitchen to presumably ask chef--but she came back to the table with answers AND a binder containing all the ingredients for each menu item (no, sorry that has garlic as a seasoning; no sorry that has a sauce with onions; no sorry that has cheese). In the end, grandson was able to choose with confidence side dishes in place of the standard menu options so that his meal wouldn't mess with his digestive system--he became more of an active participant in deciding his dinner--and that his meal was one he really, really, really enjoyed. He was surprised that a restaurant would go to those lengths to help a customer. Brighton Bar and Grill was a favorite spot when husband and I lived in Howell years ago and will definitely come back to the high service and quality food we experienced on this visit.
