My husband and I have been dining at The Lift for many years, and have always had a positive experience (even back when it was called 59 West!) The food and drinks are reliably tasty and consistent, and the service is fast and friendly. The expansive menu offers something for everyone-- classic bar fare with a twist, build-your-own pizza, lots of healthy options, and if you have any food issues, they can and will accommodate you. Some of my favorite menu items-- fresh & unique salads, wraps, and sandwiches, plus some of the best parmesan garlic boneless wings I've ever had. We've tried several different dishes over the years, and have never been disappointed. Their ranch dressing is a must-have add-on (even if you're just dipping your fries or wings... it's so good!) And they can really shake up a solid margarita! The building is huge, as it is an athletic complex with a games area, gym, and banquet center. The bar and restaurant space is in the front, offering plenty of bar, booth, and tabletop seating for both small and large groups. We avoid the nights when the corn hole/fowling area is being utilized because it tends to get so loud from all the people playing & cheering, you can't even hear yourself think! All in all, The Lift remains one of our go-to spots for a quick meal that satisfies! Bring your friends, hang out, watch a game, and grab some grub! :) read more

Exceptional venue and service -- The Lift made our family memorial truly special. Great place to host an event! We held our parents' memorial service here, and everything was just perfect. The venue was clean, beautiful, and exceeded our expectations. The food was a true highlight -- we had chicken, mostaccioli, pizza, mini sliders, salad, and dinner rolls, and every single guest commented on how delicious everything was. We also offered an open bar, which worked out wonderfully. Christina, the owner, took care of every detail and added several thoughtful touches that made the day extra special. You might not expect it but their hamburgers are amazing! I had one during our visit and was amazed how good it was. It wasn't anything exotic but had a really yummie sauce on it that added an excellent flavor. Very juicy. I ordered mine medium and it was perfect. Service was spectacular, too! read more

The food was really good, I got the fish and chips and it was supper crispy and buttery and the fries were yummy also along with the veggies that were seasoned well. The service was great the waitress was very nice and did amazing job. And the atmosphere was great there was a bar and the cool banquet room was cool and I would totally recommend the lift. read more

I hate to give bad reviews and this place came highly recommended, but...... I arrived at 6:15pm, it was dark out and found the lot so poorly lit that I didn't think they were open when I first turned in. I saw a lot of cars in the lot so I parked but it felt very unsafe walking in. The entire half of the facility was full with some kind of event so I went to the bar side. Acoustics were not great with the crowd there but, no big deal for me. We had a party of three. I ordered an unsweetened iced tea and got an Arnold Palmer. I set it off to the side and it took a while to flag someone down for water. We placed our food order and appetizer at the same time thinking service might be slow because of the party. We ended up being there and hour and 45 minutes but not by choice. Appetizer took a long time coming out and the Pesto Stix were really good. We had no silverware, no plates, and no napkins. We were starving so I went to the bar and reached over to get napkins. Finally, 2 sandwiches came out. My nachos did not and I assumed she was going back to grab them. I waited and waited.....and waited. When staff not our server came out she said she didn't realize I had the nachos or they would have come out sooner. Clearly they sat under a heat light the whole time. Very little cheese, cold and pico on the middle layer so the chips were soggy. I have no idea if they were staffed properly for the large party going on. I did not see my waitress on that side but it doesn't mean she wasn't so I tried to be patient. I know things happen but this was our first visit. I feel if any effort was made no matter how small I would have felt different. They could have comped our 2 pops (I ended up with water) and just recognized that we had waited for a long time for cold, soggy food. My advice is to call ahead and make sure there is not an event before you go! read more

My son was really excited to try the cheeseburger here and unfortunately he was let down. It had no seasoning, and was just ok. I had the buffalo wrap and I thought it was standard- nothing special. My husband and I came in at 7pm, sat at the bar as to not overwhelm the servers, only to find a bartender named Rachel who was AMAZING, and COMPLETELY ALONE on this large bar. I saw her handle difficult customers (belligerent as well as unnecessarily entiled, and even a guy who was pointing in her face and slamming the beer menu down and screaming at her for no reason) handle herself with grace and composure as she was serving food, taking orders, and serving drinks alone. Her name is Rachel and she is an ANGEL serving this VERY full bar. I am a BOH manager and I am not okay with how she was handling some VERY BELLIGERENT customers. Rachel deserves all the tips and love in the world. PROMOTE HER OR GIVE HER A RAISE. She alone made this place worth coming back to. Even though the customers were rude and blasphemous to her. I wanted to like this place. I was very very excited to try a new place that claimed to offer 'healthier' options. First of all, our server, Ashley, was abysmal. Every time she left the table we had to wait 10-15 for her to return and there was no one at any other table. Everyone else was at the bar or at the corn hole tournament. She explained to me that one of the owners was gluten free and so everything on the menu could be made gluten free. She even pointed out there was a gluten free bun. I can't have gluten or soy, so I was thrilled I had so many choices. I ordered the ground turkey burger. The only gluten free alternatives were chips and sweet potato fries. About 5 mins later she comes back to say the fryers all use soybean oil. Ok, I'll take the steamed veggies. About 5 mins after that she comes back to say the pesto mayo is a soybean base, so it will come on the side. Ok. Our food took forever to get to our table. When it arrived my burger clearly had the pesto sauce on it. It took 10 mins for her to come back to our table to check on how things were. My two companions were halfway done with their meals. I showed her the burger and she at first tried to tell me it was the swiss cheese. I know swiss cheese vs pesto mayo. Swiss cheese doesn't melt and this was creamy. So she took it back. About 5 mins after that she comes back with the steamed veggies, alone. My burger came back about 10 mins after the veggies. It came with a completely different bun. Apparently the first bun was NOT the gluten free bun I ordered. And this bun was ridiculous. The burger was a full sized burger and the bun is the size of a slider bun. It was so hard to eat the burger with such a little bun! Just to recap- I ordered a burger with a gluten free bun, and no soy products and got a burger with a regular bun and soy based pesto mayo. I got my replacement burger long after my companions finished their meals. For a place that is supposedly owned by someone with a gluten allergy they are not at all mindful or conscientious about what food their customers are getting. There were NO apologies from the server and NO my meal was not comped. In fact, they charged us EXTRA for the gluten free bun!!! If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. read more

We celebrated our daughters 16th birthday last night in the golf simulator room with lots of her friends. The room was perfect! Spacious with plenty of tables, TVs, a putting green and corn hole games. The kids had a blast in the 3 golf simulators and never got bored with all the options of games to play. The food was amazing! Pizza and breadsticks were delicious! We also had a large Caesar salad and boneless wings. All the food was great! The staff was helpful and great to work with. We didn't use it but they also had a large full bar that would've been great for an adult party. If you are looking for a place to host a party, work event, or celebration, this is it! read more
