Solid smash burger joint. Loved my burger and onion rings. Fires were great too. Perfect spot for a quick lunch

No better way to celebrate National Burger Day than with Bunkhouse Burgers! This is the perfect place to stop at when you're craving high quality food but need the convenience of a drive thru. They offer all sorts of burgers, including a vegan option! I chose the Baseline Burger, which is topped with griddled onion, pickle, mustard, and ketchup. I added pepper jack cheese to it. It was amazing!!! For my side I got the Mac Snacks, which are fried Union Joints mac and cheese bites. These were so crispy and paired excellently with the Winnebago sauce they're served with. This sauce tastes like a spicy ranch to me and it's delicious! Finally, I tried the Honcho Coffee Shake for an afternoon pick-me-up. The shake was smooth, and topped with whipped cream and fun sprinkles. I think the cups they use are so cute! The service here is great! Everyone was so friendly and the food was ready quick.

So glad I tried this little gem out! What a delicious spot l be returning to soon! Be warned: the drive-thru was a little slow (probably 7-10 mins wait for 4 cars, 3 ahead of me), but the food was hot and fresh, and the waitstaff at the window was super nice. My pop lid popped and spilled as the guy was handing it through the window, and he apology profusely and got me a replacement. I tried a hotdog w mustard and bacon jam--they cook the hotdogs split down lengthwise (crisped and delicious) and gave me toppings to put on myself. The bacon jam was heavenly!! It was a little sweet (brown sugar??), and a great compliment to the mustard I put on my dog. They had a sign that said "Mac snacks are back!--you guys breaded and deep fried Mac n cheese patties served w this delicious sauce that perfectly compliments the oozing cheese!! drooling just thinking about it! They carry Coke products, but make sure you try their milkshakes; I made the mistake of not trying one and was envious as hell watching the person in front of me get theirs!! Can't wait to go back!!

THE SWEET 'N SPICY' Bunkhouse patty, bacon, onion, & pepper jack on a house bun with lettuce, tomato, spicy pickles, bacon jam, & TN BBQ - $9.50 So ordered 2 of these with a large onion ring. Onion rings are amazing! The problem I have is that it's $9.50 for a slider. I've had much bigger burgers for less. A tiny bit spicy and a tiny bit sweet. I want sweet and spicy! Pickled jalapeños and more sweet and more spicy and bigger would be awesome.

The people that work here were so amazing, if every business had staff like this, the world would be a marvelous place. I'm serious! We came in as first time customers and the servers went out of their way to make us feel welcome and explain their products. We asked about the fries and the sauce, and the cashier even ran back to the kitchen to sample out the two types of fries and the dipping sauce. Amazing customer service. We ordered a variety of things. One child had the baseline burger with just cheese. She said the meat was very juicy. My husband and I had the baseline deluxe single burgers. It was so delicious. The meat was well cooked, and as a whole it was the greasy deliciousness of a classic drive in slider. My other child had the bunkhouse bird, a pickle brined fried chicken sandwich with pickle and mayo. It was wondrous and tasted like the fried chicken pickle taco at Honcho which happens to be my absolute favorite. They have two types of fries, regular and seasoned. The seasoned ones were zingy, but we went with regular. They were thicker than traditional fast food fries, very crunchy, and paired nicely with the zingy Winnebago sauce which I highly recommend. We ordered desserts when we finished our meal. The Honcho coffee shake hit the spot with the right mix of chocolate to coffee ratio. The kids had the union soft serve. They have chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and pineapple. It's not listed, but you can get toppings. They had delicious chocolate sauce, adorable sprinkles, and the much coveted pejoy chocolate sticks, and every burger cookies, which the kids go crazy for. The ice cream was cute to look at and yummy. I liked the other options they offered that we didn't try. They serve turkey burgers, hotdogs, vegan burger patties, and gluten free buns. As you can imagine, I'm a fan of this place. It belongs to the Clarkston Union restaurant group, and I love their food. Because this is not a typical fast food chain, the prices are a bit higher, but you are definitely paying for good quality and a fun time. They take every detail into consideration including the decor, and deliver an old fashioned drive in diner experience. You get a fast food meal with table service quality! They converted an old Dairy Queen into this restaurant. I love all of the fun pictures on the walls, the unique chandeliers, and the tv streaming Andy Warhol munching on burgers. There seemed to be a steady stream of customers, so this place should be here for the long haul. We are super excited to have found a new place for a good bite.

Burgers are good but greasy. Kind of expensive and everything is a la cart. Stick around home after eating them, just saying.

Our bartender Angela was very helpful in assisting us with choosing food and drinks. She was very honest which was extremely refreshing. Don't worry they weren't too strong to not be able to walk out the bar safely My husband absolutely loves their fried pickles and it's an always must have when we visit. They're lightly breaded with a side sauce that's slightly sweet and tangy to create a balance of flavors We shared the Chick n pick platter as my husband and I aren't huge beef eaters. We got the pulled chicken which was surprisingly well seasoned. We ordered dark meat that was smoked but to be honest looked a bit raw and we had to send it back for more pulled chicken. I trust that it was well cooked but we've had food poisoning from previous restaurants in the past so this made us a bit hesitant to eat it when there's signs of pink and some blood by the bone. The andouille sausage was extremely flavorful and brought us right back to Nola Overall great experience and we would return

The 2nd time was awful, they had a big party downstairs and basically had to apologize for ignoring the rest of the tables. I literally took forever to get food and service due to a large part downstairs but apparently it backed up the kitchen. Well, I had an AWFUL birthday dinner here last night. The server was awful, the food was awful, the experience was so sub par. Not a single person at our table enjoyed their experience. Starting off with a party of 5 being sat at a small round table for 4. The staff brought a bread basket and didn't even know where to put it...we had no room at all on the table squished in with 5 plates and glasses. We ordered the charcuterie board and it was so pathetic. 2 pieces of salami and what looked like olive loaf. After asking the server finally explained what everything was as when we asked for another piece or 2 of salami (because it truly was the only edible looking meat) he said he would have to charge us. We ran out of bread quickly and asked for another few pieces since we had a kid with us and service was taking forever. The waiter said sorry I'll have to charge you for that. Other than the French onion soup, I'm not sure anybody enjoyed their main dish. An Asian ham special that was cloyingly sweet, a pasta dish that wasn't great... We get a dessert menu and I'm so excited for a post dinner coffee! I order a salted caramel latte from the desert menu and am told they don't do lattes or cappuccinos at night? The machines are off. All we can do is a shot of espresso. Then why is it coffee on the dessert menu??? At this point we were over it. We left with no dessert on my birthday and went to Kroger and got a small cake. Do yourself a favor and go down a few doors down to Rudy's Prime for a good meal...

We knew going in that the restaurant was pricey-to say the least. But for those prices, I hoped for a better experience. I did like the overall ambiance. The moodiness of the interior was nice in my way of thinking-my guy was not so impressed. The music that was piped in was heavy on the bass-don't think I ever heard a melody line in the hour and 1/2 that we were there. And why do restaurants make women walk the farthest to get to the bathroom?!? The happy hour cocktail I got was 13 bucks which leads me to ask what is the full price? The entire menu is ala carte which I expected since I glanced at the menu before going. So we both ordered steak-which we were both pleased with. The sides are all shareable which does help with the bottom line. We shared cesar salad which was your average salad. He ordered grilled mushrooms - which were chewy- and I ordered hasselback potatoes-again pretty average. We generally order a bottom of wine when we hit a high-end restaurant, but they were all out of reach. We both settled on a glass of wine. At the waiter's recommendation, we ordered the banana pudding for dessert. The banana pudding was at the very bottom of the glass with a thick whipped cream on the top. Once you got to the banana it was nice. You are not allowed to wear sports apparel or flip flops but if you want to wear your best flannel shirt and jogging pants, please, feel free!!
