    Coffee at the Breakfast Club

Excellent service in a friendly atmosphere. Generous portions at a reasonable price. Definitely worth it!

What a cool little restaurant. I have always wanted to go here but never make the hours. This is a breakfast brunch type of restaurant. A real hometown feel. There is a narrow parking lot out front. It's interesting to navigate. The restaurant is in a strip with other businesses that are closed during thei open hours on the weekend so we found plenty of parking. There is access to get inside safely directly off the walk. There are two levels and each one full of tables and decor. Definitely a cozy, warm vibe. We were seated on the second level, given menus and water. The menu had so many options. I chose the sweet potato tater tots, and this delicious french toast. Let me tell you they definitely didn't go well with each other but both dishes I had to try and both were a hit in my book. That French toast is what this place is known for and they did not disappoint. It was like a strudel made love to Texas toast, and smothered with deliciousness and love. Definitely hit the spot. I shared it with my father who ordered a basic breakfast meal of biscuits and gravy. I was told his dish has killer taste as well. There was good music playing, the restaurant was clean, smelled good and a comfortable place to catch up with my father. When the bill came we paid in cash to avoid the credit card upcharge. I appreciated them letting us know our options. The food came out fast, we were given nice place to enjoy and left when we were ready. Did not feel rushed at all and felt we got a great morning for our money.

Great little breakfast spot with unique food options. My husband and I will come back frequently.

Special -Stacked grilled pita, avocado mash two eggs with prosciutto on hash browns. Beautiful dish but the pita was soggy from the avocado.

This location it's not affiliated with Breakfast Club located in Novi. The air temperature was chilly but tolerable with keeping your coat on. The tables were very tippy and could not be used to help study yourself to sit down. I ordered the special Stacked grilled pita, avocado and two eggs with prosciutto on hash browns. The dish was beautiful, but the avocado softened the grilled pita to the extent that it could not be cut through to pick up and eat. The server offered to get me something else. I said I didn't need anything else but I should have asked for a refund as this cost $18.99. One of the most expensive items on the menu. The service was good.

This is a true gem that offers great food and service. The menu has a large selection of home cooked meals. Four of us enjoyed a wide range of items (breakfast bowl, BLT, eggs Benedict and a Reuben) and each was delicious. The owner waited on us and she was very attentive and professional. You will receive great value for your money. Next time you are in Brighton stop in for a. Jute to eat.

This place had incredibly service and was very prompt & quick! They have a lot of unique items on their menu like a lox's omelette with capers and their French toast options! We will be back for sure! I got the short rib hash which was perfectly meaty and not fatty with porches eggs and it comes with breakfast potatoes. It's is hearty but oh so good! Hubby loved his omelet but also why wouldn't he!?! he created it lol We will be back not only because of the food but for the friendly service as well!

Reason for visiting: On a work trip and needed to kill some time. Day & Time: Friday around 7am Party of: 1 Reservations: No Order Type: Dine in Waiter: don't remember but very nice. Service: EXCELLENT! It was early so I was seated immediately and attended to immediately. Very prompt. Food Order: -Appetizer: N/a -Drink: coffee- your good average cup of joe. -Entree: eggs scrambled hard with cheese, bacon, loaded hash brown and their famous baked french toast.... EVERYTHING WAS FRESH AND SUPER YUMMY. The french toast is to die for. It could also be shared as the portion was large. Extras: N/a Conclusion: I was extremely impressed by the french bread. The place is a cute little hole in the wall and I'm sure they get very busy during prime breakfast time. Definitely a place to visit if your looking for a filling (away from) home cooked breakfast. I will definitely be coming back.

The giant Oven Baked French Toast is layered with cinnamon rolls, Texas toast, croissants, blueberries, raspberries, & topped with streusel

For the first meal of our annual MLK Day field trip, we had the opportunity to stop at The Breakfast Club for the first time in several years. What a hidden gem this restaurant is! Arriving just before 9am, we sat ourselves at one of the few open tables in the front dining room. Almost immediately, our smiling waitress dropped off menus and took our drink orders of two coffees and an orange juice. Now that they are teens, the kids wanted to try the Oven Baked French Toast, which is of course what I ordered as well. Before tip, the bill came to $40.96, which is definitely on the pricey end for breakfast for three! Décor in the restaurant was elegant yet unpretentious, with beautiful paintings on the walls. We found the restrooms were clean, cutely decorated, and toasty warm on an otherwise cold, 6-degree day! Additionally we appreciated how fastidiously clean the staff kept the dining room, with tables being bussed right after the departure of their patrons. After a reasonably short wait, our three giant slabs of oven-baked French toast (OBFT) arrived, and they looked fantastic! If you are not familiar with this mammoth-sized treat, it is more like a breakfast casserole than a traditional French toast, with layered cinnamon rolls, Texas toast, and croissants baked together and topped with blueberries and raspberries, which were then capped with a dense layer of streusel! It was as delicious as it was filling, and the generous portions of OBFT were so large that none of the three of us finished it off ... not even my 15 year old son! We also liked how the staff checked-back often to see if we needed anything, and kept our coffees continuously topped off. Our only disappointment was the fact that we received Andes Mints with our bill, rather than the usual chocolate-dipped strawberries. PROS: excellent food, attentive staff CONS: you pay for quality and the restaurant's prices are reflective of both the top-notch food and staff Overall I rate The Breakfast Club as being Very Good, and look forward to returning the next time I am in the area.

Food was ok but $50 breakfast for 2 seems expensive. I'm sure that's why the place was empty on a Saturday morning.

AWESOME ! Service over and above what might normally be expected!…read more On April 20 while visiting daughter and grandkids in Brighton, my husband and I wanted to take everyone (daughter, boyfriend, grandson, grandson's girlfriend, granddaughter) out for a nice dinner. We were a little hesitant about finding a restaurant as grandson just started going through the process of determining food sensitivities. My daughter called ahead to check about gluten-free options on the menu as the list of what he can and cannot eat is very limiting at this time and he is still figuring things out which can be rough for a high school senior. We were seated promptly in the front window area and Shannon S. was our server. Now I don't know if Shannon was told to expect us, but she hit the ball out of the proverbial park. Not only did she suggest side options for grandson, but when questions about ingredients were asked that she couldn't answer she went to the kitchen to presumably ask chef--but she came back to the table with answers AND a binder containing all the ingredients for each menu item (no, sorry that has garlic as a seasoning; no sorry that has a sauce with onions; no sorry that has cheese). In the end, grandson was able to choose with confidence side dishes in place of the standard menu options so that his meal wouldn't mess with his digestive system--he became more of an active participant in deciding his dinner--and that his meal was one he really, really, really enjoyed. He was surprised that a restaurant would go to those lengths to help a customer. Brighton Bar and Grill was a favorite spot when husband and I lived in Howell years ago and will definitely come back to the high service and quality food we experienced on this visit.
