I hate to have to do it, but the customer service just failed. I ordered glasses to replace lost ones so they could just ship them. I gave up a chance at my free new frames from insurance to just get the fastest option of an exact replacement. I was promised 4-5 days because everything was in stock. 2 weeks later I called and was told "oh, we are waiting on the lab". I was shocked because I was told that they could do them in store. No one ever called to tell me there was an issue and my daughter was at college waiting for glasses. Once they decided to get them done with the extra coating (which was the issue) they would not overnight them for me. I was promised 1-2 day shipping and after 2 days, the glasses were still not there. Sorry...can't ever go back there. First experience was good. Really, all they had to do was pick up the phone and call me. No one ever did. read more

Dr. Zubi is AMAZING! He was so kind and had the most patience with me when trying to get me fitted into the right contacts for my eyes after developing an astigmatism after LASIK surgery. I think most doctors would have given up, but he didn't! After months and too many contact trials to count, we FINALLY found the perfect pair. Looking for a new Optometrist, found this place on yelp. The reviews do not steer you wrong! They had plenty of available appointments and was able to see me and my daughter at the same time! Once we checked it, we had to sign new patient forms and before we can finish they were calling us in. The girls were helpful in assisting with finding new frames and they said they should be ready in less than one week. Definitely recommend this place and will be coming back here for our annual exams! read more

They refused to schedule my daughter appointment just because her brother had a issue with his eyeglasses 3 years ago!!!! Very rude!!

I've been here twice for my yearly eye exams and to pick out new sunglasses. I stopped in on a Thursday just minutes before they closed and was able to schedule my appointment the very next morning. Staff was very knowledgeable about my insurance (eye med) and showed me several pairs of spy sunglasses. I was looking for a specific pair I had seen on the spy website. I couldn't find them on the rack and the staff offered to order them for me. I asked what would happen if they weren't a good fit. The staff said it wouldn't be a problem and I wouldn't be charged if I didn't choose that pair. Well a couple of minutes later I saw they did in fact have the pair I was looking for and unfortunately they didn't fit well after all. The following day I had went in for my eye exam and was again greeted by the staff and only had to wait about 1 minute until I was called in the back for the exam. The staff was very patient and appeared to really love her job. Afterwards, I was greeted by the optometrist who thoroughly went over the results with me. He had such a good sense of humor I laughed a lot and received awesome care. Afterwards, I tried on several frames from spy and the staff was attentive and not pushy. I ended up picking out the pair I went with a few years back (Spy Discord) but they only had it in matte black. The staff offered to order the polished frames which I quickly jumped on with the anti scratch coating and polarized. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back! read more

Nice facility. They just opened back up after COVID. You have to have an appointment. They will take your temperature. Door is locked. You have to call to be let in. (So you must have a cell phone. They screen you with about 9 questions.) once in they accomplished what I needed done. Only negative is this tends to be a pricy location. Quality eyewear. read more

Can't wait to get my glasses and contacts and never return to that place again. If I could I would like all my money back and go to another place to get my glasses. This place used to be friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help the patient with their glasses needs BUT now it has become a nightmare. WITH SO MANY STAFF around yet no one helps. I called in regards to my prescription and contact order yet the receptionist did not even check my insurance coverage. I asked to talk to office manager had me on hold and till this day no one has called back to resolved the issue. Called again and I got and ever dumber response with the receptionist telling me about and old prescription. All I want is my glasses and contacts with the correct prescription!!! Hate to have to write a bad review . But I just came here to get my daughters glasses as she broke her only pair and needed a new eye exam and new prescription . We came here on 8/30 it is now 9/20 and I still have not recieved her glasses they claimed the first time the came back from the lab they had a scratch. Nobody called me and told me. Only after we called to ask where were the glasses did we get a text . Then a week later they still aren't back nobody called again . I called and am told it was scratched again , they have to call the lab . I ask to speak to a Manager and was told they are all on vacation. My daughter needs her glasses which I have already paid for and nobody at this place seems to care! This will be the first and last time I come to this place !! read more

Recently broke my glasses and needed to get them replaced so I went to the only people that could help me see the light! I got my first pair of glasses here some years back so I came back to them like an ex-girlfriend coming back years later to check up on you and see how you're doing. Don't worry, this story is nothing like that because ex's are never good to go back to. I called to set up an appointment and explain that I needed the works because I broke my glasses and update my prescription. I needed to get that "Clear View" because things were looking a little fuzzy like an old black and white TV. Michelle was on top of it and set me up for the earliest appointment they had on Saturday. She was super helpful and answered all my questions that I had to make sure my appointment went well when I showed up. I let her know that I wanted the same frames and color so she went ahead and ordered them like it was Domino's pizza. I come in for my appointment and was greeted by the ladies that were there. Told them that I had an appointment for 11am and they already had everything ready. They asked if i had a preference in doctor and I just said, "Naw, as long as they're a doctor I'm good". They set me up with Dr. Daniel Krall aka the Vision Lord... I just gave him that name so he's not really known as that, but it sounds cool. He made me feel very comfortable through the whole process from beginning to end. He pretty much told me " You're pretty much blind, but no worries, I got you FAM!". The Vision Lord did his magic and that was it. I don't have insurance, but that didn't change my experience at all. I HIGHLY recommend this place! Went for a yearly checkup yesterday. Arrived early to my appointment and the staff took me back right away. No waiting! Yay! Super friendly staff. The girl at the front desk answered all my insurance questions and notified me of what coverage I have and money towards contacts/frames which was very helpful. They staff makes you feel super comfortable (even during the awkward blow puffs of air intraocular pressure test haha) Dr. Krall is super funny (as always) and very knowledgeable. The amazing doctors are very compassionate and actually talk to me; explaining things rather than just handing a prescription for glasses. So I'm in Clearview Optometry browsing for frames. No one greets.. then after about 10 minutes of browsing one out of 5/6 women say hello and offer services. I continue to browse when I start hearing loud laughter coming from the women who supposedly work there. Laughing and talking about their paying customers. Making fun and really laughing out loud about their requests. That's not right. I left after I spoke to one women there telling them I can't be there listening to adult women show they have no integrity. I figured if they talk about you their talking about me, a paying customer. There is accessible parking. There is a Starbucks and an Orange Theory fitness in the same shopping center, so it can get packed in the average sized parking lot. At most you can park by Ralph's and walk on over. The Doctor is so so sweet. I've been coming for three years, (truly only a few times, exam is once a year..contacts every few months haha) and I've had two different Optometrists. They are professional, prompt, and clean. The optical gear (? Dont know the technical term) they use seems very state of the art. They offer an additional exam that can check the state of health your eyeballs are in. Came her to update the family's vision needs. Appointments were easy to make (although their website is a bit confusing), and you are seen almost immediately after you show up. Everyone we've encountered has been very professional, friendly, and informative. Glasses and contacts arrived faster than expected and they keep you updated! The only issue is they have a very small section of insurance covered frames. My insurance covers $150, very few in that price range which seemed odd with having so many to choose from. Contacts are also seem quite expensive through their office. Overall nice experience and will continue to come here for vision needs. read more

I even called her back a couple weeks later an ordered a second pair of glasses for my daughter as a back up and she took the time right away to have that done for me. I recently visited Clear View for a long overdue eye exam for both new eyeglasses and contacts. As someone who also works as a health care provider, I am very particular with the care my family and I receive. However, I was very impressed with my experiences with the staff and service at Clear View! A few days before my appointment, I received a friendly phone call reminding me about my upcoming visit. On the day of, I was welcomed by the staff upon walking into the office. My optometrist, Dr. Alva, was very friendly and knowledgable. Since I needed a new prescription for contact lenses, I was given a pair of trial lenses with my new prescription strength to test how well I adapted to them. After a few days, I returned for my second appointment with no problems at all. I was very happy with my new contact lenses and my newly improved vision! What I also really appreciated and noticed during my visits was how clean and organized everything was! While I was never pressured by the staff to purchase my new eyeglasses or contacts here, they have a large selection of designer brands such as Prada, Dolce and Gabbana, Tiffany and Co., Ray Ban, and Tory Burch. Since everything was displayed so neatly, it was very easy to try on different pairs and find a style that I loved. Melissa was very helpful throughout the entire selection and ordering process. She answered all of my questions and patiently assisted me in choosing the right pair of eyeglasses! Overall, I've had positive experiences with Clear View and look forward to seeing them in the future. Clear view was great with my family since 2012. I went in for my normal eye exam and was told that I needed a minimal adjustments on my left eye. I then picked out a new frame and was fitted. After picking my options for the lenses I was given a final quote. I paid in full the day of my exam and picking my glasses. Some days later I picked up my glasses and was on my way. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I received a statement that I owe $79.00. Called Clear View and was transferred to the office manager and was told that I was misinformed. She then tells me that I am covered for $150 which I knew and was told by the person helping me. But she then tells me that the other $150 were not covered. As stated before I have been going to them since 2012 with the same insurance and know that it's only $150. I have always taken my business to clear view for their customer service regardless of how much I paid. The $79 dollars that I am going to pay is nothing compared to the thousands that I have spent here. It's a shame that I was treated this way after paying in full and let walk out the door only to be told that I still owe. And you are correct office manager I can talk my business elsewhere. read more

So this girl Emily answered the phone asked her if I could order another set of contact lenses . She took my info and pulled up my chart and informed me that my prescription had expired and 'due to HIPPA it's against the law to fill an expired prescription .. " I work in the medical field and I laughed and said what does HIPPA have to do with it .. HIPAA IS A PRIVACY ACT ..HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996) is United States legislation that provides data privacy and security provisions for safeguarding medical information. After I informed her what HIPAA was upset . The lady Emily said 'yeah well regardless what HIPAA means we don't fill expired prescriptions ." Came here for the first time looking for a good optometrist in the area. Had the first appointment of the day and the staff was quick and very helpful. They have a HUGE selection of glasses with lots of the top brands - Oliver peoples, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Fendi, etc. etc. The optometrist herself was great. Was very thorough with her examination and made sure that I was comfortable with the new prescription she was giving me. The people in the front were very helpful when it came to choosing glasses. I went with a combo of glasses and contacts and they helped me to make sure that I got the most out of my insurance. The GREAT part about the whole experience was that my glasses were ready within the hour and I was able to take them home the same day. My contacts came a day later. Great, fast, friendly service. If you call and ask to speak to the manager, the story doesn't add up and you'll never receive a call back. This business was previously located at Victoria Gardens. I had passed through that location a few times, but I didn't find any frames that I liked. I was looking for a new pair of glasses at LensCraters, but everything they had looked too big to fit my face. So I paid over $300 just to replace the lenses in my old glasses. The next day I went to Clear View Optometry to see what they had. Their selection is so much bigger than I remember at Victoria Gardens. The selection of sizes for people with different shapes and size faces was huge. I actually had trouble narrowing down what I wanted. The sales staff was very nice, and gave me input on the pair they think looked better, which turned out to be a less expensive pair than another pair that I was contemplating. I bought a full second pair of glasses and I spent the same as I did just to replace the lenses at Lens Crafters! Same quality of lenses, antiglare, scratch resistant, light weight.... I wish I would have gone to Clear View first. And, they did it so fast... If you tried them before, check out what they have now. I wish I had. read more

Recently, my prescription sunglasses were delayed but I received numerous updates and apologies (probably more than I needed!) OK, I know it's taken me over four months to write this review! That's because my glasses are so amazing when I put them on, it was like seeing for the FIRST TIME! CLEAR VIEW OPTOMETRY is Magic! I have been wearing glasses since the 7th grade, and squinting to see the chalkboard at school, since third. Way to go Mom & Dad . . . . Anyway, I've been to lots of Optometrists. I'm turning 65, and Dr. Zubi gave me an eye examination that just Blew My Mind. You think I'm exaggerating, but no. When you are as blind as I am and you experience an exam where the doctor actually is giving you feedback, and you are experiencing confidence during eye exam, it is so unfamiliar and wonderful. It's sort of hard to explain . . . you know, when the doctor is saying, "is this one better or this one better?" Totally different with Dr. Zubi; he made me feel certain. I've NEVER felt certain all the time during one of those exams through the whole thing IN MY LIFE. He has this passion for his gift. I came out of there knowing I had had the best eye exam in my life. Dr. Zubi said I may have to get used to the new prescription because it had changed so much. However, when I got my glasses it was like I could finally SEE! I thought I had Night Blindness. I don't have night blindness, I just had a shitty prescription. I CAN SEE AT NIGHT. I CAN DRIVE AT NIGHT. Dr. Zubi is my Super Hero. He is the best. Experience Dr. Zubi! The staff is incredible as well; all of them. Houston took me through all the preliminary tests before the exams. He was amazing and thorough and funny. Stacey went way beyond the call of duty to get me my frames. She is just amazing as well, so knowledgeable, and funny. I am so near sighted, but she found a way to make the lenses look even better. She's the best! Emily and Bella were there for me too. The whole staff has great energy and the office has the most up-to-date equipment, and fantastic selection of frames. This was my second visit to this location. On both occasions scheduling my exam was easy- I was able to get a same day appointment. Parking was a breeze. Two people greeted me and offered to assist me. I waited 2 minutes for my eye exam, which was very thorough. The service in selecting my eyewear was very helpful and overall everyone was friendly.
