Always a fun night out without worrying about vulgar language. The audience is engaged with the comedians and Randy the host of the show.

The cast was hilarious, the drinks were great and they did an awesome job involving the audience. I was honestly worried it might be a little cringe, but I was laughing the whole time! What really stood out was how they handled a medical emergency toward the end of the show. One of the actors noticed right away, the lights came up immediately, they asked if there were any doctors or nurses and they cleared the area so quickly and professionally. It was really impressive to watch. Once they made sure everything was okay, the show picked right back up and everyone was able to keep having a great time. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun night out!

In a small intimate theater, portrayed as The Library, one actor takes 5 shots of their drink of choice while still acting out the play Romeo and Juliet. It's a mix of comedy, improv, and ridiculousness that also allows for audience participation. The actors were amazing while being able to change the direction of the story. We had the convenience of ordering drinks and snacks right from our seats and having them delivered. We had a great time full of laughs! I highly recommend this hidden gem if you're looking to do something off the beaten path! Great for date nights, ladies night out, bachelor and bachelorette parties, you name it. If you're looking for something inappropriate, look no further lol!

My husband and I came here for his birthday to see Steve Byrne…read more We love comedy but we have littles and don't get out much. They had an earlier show at 4pm and it made the bday weekend special- yes, aware that sounds old. At 40 and as early-birds... if it doesn't happen before 5- it's a hard pass!! Ironically this was definitely noted in his act having a 4pm show! After parking and getting lost in the parking garage- yeah, we don't make it into the city much but we got a couple flights of stairs in for no apparent reason that would later benefit the additional IPAs we drank during the show ‍ I loved that we got sat right in front next to the stage. Before I go anywhere I look into reviews on Yelp and Google to see the do/donts, and deals/tricks. Yes, plan to get comfy with your neighbor- they sit parties across from one another. As a party of two we sat next to another couple and so on. I'll admit, I'm not a size zero and my husband is 6'5- it was a bit uncomfortable. I can't imagine being on the thicker side or even an elder managing to get out and maneuver around seated patrons to go to the restroom and what not. We knew the two drink minimum would be required so we opt for the beer bucket that included six beers of your choice mix/match accordingly. Worked out great since they had Church Music and we shared an order of wings as we had dinner plans later. Service was great! Our server checked on us multiple times throughout the show. Reviews mention that it gets hot in there since they pack everyone in. It was freezing and I didn't take my jacket. I would've went back to the car to get it but it's a walk and we got lost on the way in lol. In Arizona businesses overcompensate during the summer and you'll find you wear your jacket more in the summer months inside than during the winter. Parking is free- just make sure you take your ticket with you and they'll scan it. We will definitely be back- yes, drinks are overpriced and tickets were reasonable. As for the show- not bad. Great laughs carried throughout and it's always dependent on the act which should be a separate review from the venue. Looking forward to more date nights in the city for sure!

I know if I get a seat here every seat in the room is a good seat. They have a very good sound system. I would say the serving staff are all very friendly here. I typically end up getting wine when I have to meet my two drink minimum. However, they do have several cocktail arrangements that you can choose from. What I like is that for each performer they typically will have a specialty cocktail designed around that actual comedian. So I like that approach. I usually like to catch the early show cause the crowd vibe is a little bit chiller. However, I've never had an issue at this establishment and will continue to catch my favorite comedians here. As I do think they extent a diverse roster of comedians. The last time that we attended, we actually ordered some food. And I really enjoyed the wings. I thought they did a really good job on the buffalo wings and the sauce was very tangy and the wings were fried hard as requested. All in all, it's a really good establishment with a parking lot and there are other places to dine and eat, near the establishment.

The two drink minimum can get expensive for not very boozy or exciting drink options, which is my biggest gripe. I'd recommend having dinner before or after your show, not during. They get a good selection of acts. Seating is first come, first served, so make sure your whole group is there and arrive a bit early if proximity to the stage matters to you. In my experience, though, all seats have solid sound.

Everyone is super nice, supportive, & genuinely invested in each other's success. It's like we're all in this together! If you're thinking about acting classes, check out Dearing Acting Studio. Celebrity Theatre, while not…read morea spot where celebrities congregate, does have a decorated history as a long standing event venue. In fact, it's one of the oldest venues with a rotating stage. I've stopped by on numerous occasions to see both concerts and comedy shows, with the most recent being the king of sax, Kenny G. Celebrity has a paid parking lot but I'm not about that life so I park on the street for free and walk a few minutes over. The neighborhood surrounding the venue is a little sketch, but I've never had any issues. Now, for the venue itself. A rotating stage is nice because there's no bad seat in the house. It's a pretty intimate venue to begin with, and even better with the stage. That part is awesome. What's not so awesome is the space in between seats. If you're tall like me, I'm 6'2", you're going to be cramped. People were shorter back in the day. When it comes to concessions, limited options but pretty much standard fare. A couple of beer options, small and big, which I've done, wine, and some snacks. While Celebrity Theatre has some faults, they bring in some good acts.

The chair to my right was empty. One of the women decided she needed to kick it repeatedly. I kindly explained I am still recovering from stomach surgery and that was painful for me. She stopped for a bit, but after intermission and more booze, she made a sport of it. I again asked her to stop. Then the woman she was with (sister?) started mouthing off. One of the men they were with went for more booze and got lost (really? It's a tiny place!). The group hooted and yelled for him until the other man went and physically got him. My husband and I did not drink ANYTHING, by the way. We finally had enough and left about halfway through MTB. Security and an employee of Celebrity were notified. All we got was "sorry". They didn't make any effort to even check on the situation. We won't spend the money and time to just be hassled and abused by drunken bullies. Sooo disappointed!! Celebrity used to be one of my favorite venues. I will never recommend it to anyone and am very doubtful I will return. Shame on Celebrity Theatre for not caring and for selling obviously drunk people more alcohol!! If I could give negative stars, I would.

The show was fabulous and we all really enjoyed it (even my teens who complained about going to a show in the first place) We found the theatre itself easy to access and scored a great parking spot even though we arrived just about 10 minutes before the show was set to start. It said 7:30 start time but probably started closer to 7:45. Tickets were waiting at will call as requested and all of the staff working that evening were super friendly. At the performance we saw, the role of Evan, normally played by Mason Ballard, was played by his understudy, Daniel Shain Graf and he did an excellent job as did the rest of the actors. We purchased some refreshments at intermission, which were very overpriced, but that is to be expected at all entertainment venues these days.
