We stopped in at the Bridge Improv tonight with our 2 oldest granddaughters. What a great time we all had!! Perfect for kids as well as adults. This was our granddaughters first time going to an Improv show and they loved it!! Shows every Friday and Saturday night! They cast and crew were all amazing and so gracious and genuine. We will absolutely be back and soon. Such a fun memory to share with the girls. Great family or friend activity. Can't say enough, hope you give it a try!!

Some places will give you a discount in return for your favorable review. This is not one if those places. In fact, I had to write this review myself. From scratch. No template to fill in the blank or anything. Anywho, I enjoyed the early show tonight. Good engaging cast, nice facility and super-cheap popcorn. Price of admission for the show was seven bucks which is well worth it to support local CLEAN COMEDY (I doubt putting it in all caps gives it more search power, but just in case...). And it's parent-friendly. Which is to say that parents won't get calls from their kids' schools if they repeat what they hear at a Bridge show. I'll be sure to stop by the next time I'm in town!

Awesome little club, but... It is dry... So... Maybe pregame? Came out because a friend invited me out to watch a showcase he was in, and it was a great venue. The owner is funny and chill. I'd go back.

A wonderful little improv theater. Loved the shows. Performers and staff are super nice and inviting!! Will see more shows here very soon!!

Great cast and entertaining content. They offer a variety of acts and even classes. I will go back.

Saw a show here last Friday at 9pm. It was really funny. The space is really nice and comfortable. It's not huge but not super tiny. No drink minimums or anything. Will go again.

Laughing that hard was seriously therapeutic! We bought sodas and popcorn at the front. The popcorn was tasty. Then we grabbed two seats (open seating, which can also accommodate those in wheelchairs or with physical disabilities). Amy was the host and she was fantastic at engaging the audience. All the players were truly hilarious, creative and so talented. We had a blast! Overall, NCT was a great choice for a date night. While we were there we learned some shows are actually clean family-friendly comedy (no cursing) so we are planning to bring our daughter to a show! This would be a great evening activity if you have family visiting from out of town :)

(Keep in mind we haven't been to a show since they moved to the new location). While each story had a few funny moments, they were fleeting. The stories were w-a-y too long and drawn out. Forget the kids (who were confused as heck) - I had a hard time tracking the action (maybe it would have been better if I had been drinking). So, if you've got kids, skip Friday night and go on a Saturday when two teams try to "out improv" each other. That's what we plan to do. Fingers crossed it'll be a better show.

The show was hilarious though & we had a wonderful time. This makes for an awesome date night. One thing I did not enjoy is that I was seated across from my husband, I would have preferred being next to him, so we could talk to one another a bit easier... We did not order food, but I got Sangria. One of the best Sangrias I have had, to be honest! I was very disappointed to hear that a single shot does not qualify for the "2 Drink Minimum". I feel that should be mentioned on the menu for guests, because if I had ordered the shot, assuming it counted, I would have been furious! I also think it's a bit ridiculous that you cannot order food in place of the drinks? As long as people are spending money on something, why should it matter???? We had a good time, and will be back in the future. I just hope that they will consider modifying their business structure in a way that makes a little bit more sense.

Last night, I went to Improv Tempe for the first time to see comedian Jared Fried. Surprisingly,…read morethe venue is large yet intimate but what's always questionable about comedy clubs in general are the funky seating arrangements, the table setup--the chairs are so close to each other that it can feel like you're sitting on top of others while at your table. The ambiance is good all around, the staff are friendly, and the menu options are decent. I would suggest more non-alcoholic beverages options but their food options are good. The audience was engaging for the most part with the exception of some people that were VIP and happened to be seated in front of me. Two couples on a double date had such dry personalities and apparently forgot how to laugh. In some cases during the show, their lack of engagement and energy made the comedian sense a level of awkwardness, but he carried on his engagement well while others laughed in appreciation of his humor. At the end of the show, he welcomed fans to take photos with him, which I did. I caught the 7pm show which ended early enough to enjoy the rest of the evening exploring other establishments nearby. Overall, this is a great venue. You get a little of everything to make your visit enjoyable. The club is easy to find, parking is free but can fill up fast as there's other shops and a grocery store that share the same lot. If you're not familiar with Improv Tempe, definitely enjoy a night out seeing any comedian here. I'll be back again.

We purchased tickets for the Thursday, January 8th show. We arrived a bit early on the day of the show. It was our first time at Hale and we wanted to be prepared. We were directed to a side entrance where they usually have their music shows. I knew the theatre was small, but was still surprised to see how intimate it was. I didn't mind it. The theatre sells concessions before the show and during intermission. We didn't purchase any. The show was phenomenal! The band and the singers were very talented and put on a fantastic performance. They nailed the original voices, which is not easy, and even hit some of the high notes. It took us back to the disco days of the 70s. We can't wait to catch another show at Hale Center Theatre!

Complimenting the tower is the Theaters markee, brightly lit and a throwback to the days when entertainment and theater were central to an evening out. Venue 5/5 There are really no bad seats as the venue is well designed for sound and a more quaint experience. Performance 5/5 The "Always Patsy Cline" production was excellent. The show artfully told her story, a humble performer who gained national notoriety but was taken at a tender age of 30 in 1963 from a plane crash on her journey home from a performance. I became a fan of hers and other country artists of this period after moving to Arizona. This period was full of names, voices and lyrics that for me epitomized the charm and perhaps the innocence of early America my parents enjoyed and a little before my time. Very progressive show and when we got back home and I paid closer attention to the other show options offered on their website, realized this is prevalent from show-to-show. Performers, male and female, came out dressed in jumpsuits, the same you'd see 1) pilots of military fighter jets, 2) farm workers, 3) etc. wear. They were unisex by design as were their undergarments (tops and bottoms) and by the end of the performance, after having stripped themselves of the jumpsuits they each continued their routines with those same jumpsuits tied using the legs and arms of the jumpsuits into a bundle wrapped around their heads and faces. If you've ever seen the movie The Elephant Man, that is what they all resembled. Although The Elephant Man did not perform in their unisex under garments. Just wasn't prepared for that, finding it disturbing. Children (minors) were present in the audience.
