We heard about EcoClean Home Services from multiple sources (i.e., Tom Martino, online research and a neighbor from our old neighborhood). We made an appointment and EcoClean's representative, David, knocked on our front door right on time, was friendly and professional. However, before he began cleaning, he explained the cleaning process in detail. We had lots of questions because we'd never had vents in previous homes cleaned before (didn't think they needed it). Wow, were we wrong or what!! During the extensive cleaning David showed us before photos from his cell phone, and then followed up with another shot of the same location of an exceptionally clean vent. We both had questions about our evaporative cooler on the back side of the house, and he even went to the trouble of explaining how to operate the evaporative cooler, empty it before the next winter, clean out the filters, etc. After the job was completed, he asked again if we had any questions, and proceeded to clean and remove all of his equipment. Very impressive and left us feeling confident the job had been 100% to our satisfaction. Most of all though, we felt like we had a business we could depend on, and a friend named David. The Starrs

The $199 coupon is a scam. It says "Whole house air vent cleaning, all supply vents and return…read morevents, Absolutely No Hidden Chargers". After they arrived they told me it would be $749 to do this as it does not actually include the main supply 'trunk' line that every house has. This is a typical ranch style home built in the 50's and the return and most vents are on the trunk line as is typical. I said 'just do what is included in the coupon' and the guy was mad, and likely didn't do anything other then the first couple inches around vents and in the end he refused to do even that to one of the vents. Calling management did not help either. I should have turned them away at the $749 quote. Now I have a new company going out to do the job I already paid for. Don't pay twice, hire a good company from the start!

Thin Air likely saved my house!…read more My furnace stopped working late on a Sunday night when the temperature was hovering around 0 degrees Fahrenheit. I started calling 24-hour HVAC companies, and Don actually answered the phone at 11pm! He tried to walk me through a fix and stayed on the phone with me for almost a half an hour. When it didn't work, he scheduled a tech to come to our house the next morning. Ryan, the technician, arrived before 10am, and within about 20 minutes, he had found the source of the problem and made the repair. Our furnace was working again, and it was just in time for a night where it went down to -20 degrees Fahrenheit! If we hadn't had a working furnace that evening, I can't imagine our pipes would have survived. I had an amazing experience with these guys. Thank you, Thin Air!

Cut to a little over a year ago when we had them replace our entire HVAC system -as soon as that job was done we were having issues with the air and Donald told us he was moving to North Carolina and closing his business so there wasn't much they could do -they did seem to fix whatever was going on but we've heard a "buzzing" sound in the walls every time the air kicks on since and Donald shrugged his shoulders and said "it's probably something electrical" then about a month ago our heat stopped working -we called Thin Air since they were still listed as a business and we should have a warranty with them -Donald (who moved to North Carolina) answered the phone and sent Dominic out about 7 hours later -Dominic said he "did some things to make it turn back on" but suggested we add more vents to the house. I asked Dominic about Donald and he said that he (Dominic) actually own the business now and Donald was here visiting and "helping" him then Dominic asked for payment even though we had a warranty-two days ago our heat went out again -we called and guess who answered-Donald-and he was nice until we gave him the address-Donald said he'd send someone out by the end of the day and no one ever came and they didn't answer any of our calls after that. Bottom line -these dudes are SHADY AF -BEWARE!

I must have called five places before I found one that would even come take a look at it. When I called this company the woman on the phone said they could definitely check it out and that their technicians know a lot about them. The technician called on his way, came exactly on time, and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He thoroughly looked over the fridge and spent the time to make sure he knew what the problem was. He explained everything to me very clearly and even gave me his honest opinion when I asked if it was worth fixing or if I should get a new one. He said once we fixed this problem we probably wouldn't have to worry about anything else for a long time, because it's a quality fridge. We had to wait a few weeks for the part to come in, but when it did they set up another time to come out. Again, the technician was right on time and very nice. From what I could see it was a pretty in-depth job, so it's not surprising that it was on the expensive side. It's been about 3-4 months and the fridge works great! No issues at all, and we're glad we kept it. Big thanks to this company for repairing our fridge and saving us upwards of 8k to buy a new one!
