We had a different air duct company clean our ducts on 9/2 but didn't clean thoroughly and in the process damaged ceiling sheet rock and the side of a door. My husband then called Temir from Action, and he initially came out gratis to evaluate the situation. He scoped the ducts, said that they were "filthy", the coils of the HVAC weren't cleaned even though we had paid the other company to do so, and the air quality in our home was poor which we could smell. On 9/30, Temir and his team of Elizabeth and Nate thoroughly cleaned 20 registers and return vents and effectively prevented any damage to our house. They had the most powerful equipment and knew how to do the job. Afterwards, the ducts were scoped again, and my husband could easily see the improvement. My husband thought a section of the duct would have to be replaced but Temir assured him that his team would clean thoroughly and resolve the issue. Temir knows his business thoroughly and in addition is very kind and thoughtful. What was solely our problem to resolve after the first company's incomplete job and the contaminating of our home's air quality, Temir and his team devoted themselves to fix it and happily they did just that. I am one to rarely if ever leave reviews, but in this case can't say enough good things about Action Air Duct. Tamir was easy to communicate with, super responsive and did an excellent job. Dryer stopped drying our clothes, still damp after 2 cycles. Emailed Action Air Duct on a Sunday afternoon, Tamir responded within 30 minutes to set up an appointment for Monday. Arrived on time, polite, professional and very informative. (gave me directions to better maintain my dryer). Vent was clogged, I don't think the vent was ever cleaned. We hired Tamir with Action Air Duct to clean out our furnace ducts this week. I'm very sensitive to all kinds of mold, dust and chemicals, so we scheduled the cleaning for the morning when I would be at work. We thought everything went well, but after they left, my husband looked into the vents (the trunk lines to be specific) and discovered that Tamir did not clean 2 of the trunk lines, as he had agreed to. They also didn't take the before and after pictures of each duct like we had asked them to. My husband called them and they came back later that day and finished cleaning the 2 trunk lines. However, when they came back to clean the house they did not hook up the negative airflow again (that prevents dust/particles from the dirty vents/trunk lines from going into the house), so the house was very dusty after this. We were both very unhappy with the way this was handled so my husband called Tamir who refunded us $150 (out of the $500 total) for the inconvenience. After this, I originally gave them a one-star review, but Tamir called my husband and told him he didn't feel that this was a fair rating since I wasn't home while they cleaned the ducts, and he felt that I couldn't properly evaluate their work since I wasn't in the home. I don't think this makes sense, because even though I wasn't home, I'm still well aware of what went on in my home. However, because Tamir did come back and finished cleaning the ducts and also refunded us some of the total price, I am willing to raise my rating to 3 stars. read more
