I hired Dryer Vent Techs to clean my dryer vents, after another company did not do a sufficient enough job, to prevent fire risk. Initially I believe I spoke with Don, the owner, prior to working with Marv, the technician, to schedule and complete the work. Marv came to my home in June 2024 was ethical, trustworthy, honest, and did a wonderful / thorough job, and I was glad that they are licensed to come into the home to clean the dryer vents - unlike the other company, who was only licensed to clean the events from outside the home, which proved insufficient. I will definitely use them again, and am happy to refer them! read more

Had Dryer Vent Techs come clean our dryer vent on the roof along with removing a screen that was preventing lint from sufficiently escaping, thus creating a fire hazard. They arrived on time and completed the work quickly. I thought they were going to clean things from the inside too (where the dryer connects into the wall in the laundry room) but maybe there was miscommunication about what we wanted. Price for what was done seemed a bit steep in light of just a quick roof clean and removal of the screen but price was what we were quoted over the phone. read more

Dry Vent fixing is not sexy. This isn't like reviewing a restaurant that blew me away. What Dryer Vent Techs did was exactly what I needed them to do. They came out on short notice when we discovered a broken dryer run and the leak it caused. They got it fixed right and fixed it the first time. I would recommend them. read more

They explained the process thoroughly and were very easy to work with. I appreciate that they will be contacting me every 2 years to ensure this is something that is maintained at a regular cadence. They came very quickly after requested and were friendly. read more

Excellent service from beginning to end. The person who first answered the phone was knowledgeable and asked pointed questions to understand the problem and my needs. Dryer Vent Cleaning and Screen Replacement. Don called to verify when he would arrive. He spent the time necessary to validate the service needed, and did not charge me for anything not necessary (very welcome change to others). The value and overall service was incredible. Took longer than anticipated but he continued to explain everything throughout and experience was perfect! Would definitely recommend!!! Thank you! read more

They came in, took a look, and got right to work! They were very kind and even provided some tips and tricks. There was no mess left and they were able to give us an estimate before starting that way we weren't stuck with any surprises at the end. They were in and out within a couple hours. I would highly recommend them! Big thank you to the Techs! read more

We were pleased with our recent dryer vent cleaning from Marvin with Dryer Vent Techs. Marvin explained everything he was doing and gave us several tips on improving dryer efficiency. We were able to watch as he blew out quite a bit of lint and loads of dust from the outdoor vent. The company was recommended to us by a friend and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others. read more

We had an error message on our dryer this morning that showed a blocked vent. I immediately came to Yelp and found Dryer Vent Techs and am I sure glad we did! My husband called and they came out within a few hours! Marv was our tech and my husband has said he would give them 6 or 7 stars is he could! Fast, great service, price was right and the best part for my husband is how Marv walked him through everything he was doing and why! He learned a lot and he loves that! Thank you Dryer Vent Techs for amazing service in a time when service isn't always a priority! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

Dryer Vent Techs did clean out the vents as expected. They were punctual and pleasant to deal with. When they unplugged the dryer to do the work and then plug it back in it didnt work and they should have at least checked that .... but that wasn't their fault. Would recommend. read more

Been having dryer vent blocked error codes on my dryer off and on over the past 2 years. Had my vent cleaned from inside 2 times by another service company but ended up still getting error codes. Googled and called Dryer Vent Techs and scheduled a cleaning for the vent on top of the roof. Marv came out and explained to me how these vent block issues keep building up then went up to the roof to check and clean the vent. He explained in detail and showed me pics of what he found while cleaning and showed me the compacted lint that had been blocking the vent. He was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful! I highly recommend Dryer Vent Techs. read more

Don did an excellent job cleaning my dryer vent. When he was on the roof, he also modified the dryer vent cover so it could work properly. It was actually the bathroom vent cover in the wrong place. Go figure!! I'd definitely recomment this company. read more

They came when they said they would, were very knowledgeable, and did a great job on a dryer vent which possibly was not cleaned in 40 years! read more

This company is stellar! I had a burning smell coming from my dryer and called Dryer Vent Techs and they were able to come out the next morning. The technician was great!! He cleaned the dryer vent and also determined and showed me that my dryer vent connection was badly crimped and replaced it on the spot. He vacuumed up the mess with his own vacuum as well. Very knowledgeable and informative man who did a great job. I will definitely be calling them when I need my vent cleaned again. read more

Don did a fantastic job. We had several other people try to clean our dryer vent over the years, and none of them did a thorough enough job to realize how bad it really was. We were lucky to find him! read more

They cleaned the Dryer Vents on three homes. They did an excellent job. They were on time, professional, diligent and left the work area clean The cost (value) for cleaning the dryer vents was reasonable I will recommend them to my friends read more

Don of Dryer Vent Techs did an amazing job of cleaning our heat ducts. Ours is a 100 year old house that had undergone numerous remodeling projects, making the job challenging and complex. Don did the cleaning using an impressive array of high tech tools that most cleaners would not have access to. He worked very hard without a break for about 5 hours, and he was careful not to damage our walls, floors and ceilings. Despite the amount of dust and dirt he removed, he left the house very clean. Further, he made suggestions for maintaining the efficiency of our furnace and our dishwasher. Considering the thoroughness of the cleaning and the effort involved, the cost of the job was very reasonable. Lastly, Don is a very good guy who was a pleasure to talk to. We recommend him without reservation! read more

Nice guy. Did a pretty good job. I'm nervous it didn't work completely as the 80% blocked indicator keeps going on.

We had a great experience with Dryer Vent Techs. Marv arrived on time and was very pleasant to work with. He did a great job in a reasonable amount of time. Dryer Vent Techs will contact me when it's time to clean my dryer vent again. read more

We knew our dryer vent needed to be cleaned. I went searching for a company that would honestly tell me what the average cost would be. After calling several companies, I came across Dryer Vent Techs. They told me the basic price for vent cleaning, as well as any extra charges and what they would be for if needed. This was the first company that was that straightforward, so we went with them. We scheduled, they arrived on time, and even confirmed beforehand. Don the owner and our technician, cleaned our vent, cleaned up afterward, and even provided positive suggestions regarding the prevention of dryer fires. No upselling, no doom and gloom. Just a very positive experience. I highly recommend Dryer Vent Techs! read more

Very personal & offered helpful information. However did not clean the full length of the vent pipe, only to the 1st elbow & did not move the dryer. Did not seem like a complete job. He removed a substantial amount of lint leaving us to wonder what more might be there. read more

Don came out, cleaned our dryer vent. He cleaned it entirely from the outside, so there was no need to take our dryer off the inside vent (since it was in a closet, I was fearful of that....but no need!). He was pleasant, professional and finished quickly. He also had recommendations about a new vent cover, should we get animals inside, and for how often our vent would likely need cleaning. He said their company would call me in about 2 years - the followup will be appreciated. We'll use them again. read more

Extraordinary!! My dryer vent (which exits on the roof of a high two-story building) hadn't been cleaned in seven years (the shame) and was a challenge to say the least. These guys got it handled, even though it took 3 visits - not due to incompetence at all, simply my very blocked and very high vent. They didn't even change me for extra time and I can't recommend them wholeheartedly enough. read more

With a first floor laundry closet that barely can accommodate a washer and dryer and the dryer vent being served by an existing flexible vent duct, it clogged frequently (no surprise it was partially crushed) and required a gymnastic move of pulling it partially out and lowering oneself from the top of the machine to get into position to pull the dyer out and clear the duct. If not done every six weeks or so, the dryer would completely cease to function and sometimes required parts replacement in addition. I called Dyer Vent Techs to see if they could come up with a better solution, which they did. They sent Don and he came up with a lower profile and safer solution that eliminated the flexible duct hose and makes it unnecessary to clear the duct out as previously required. When it does need to be done again, it can even be reached now from outside the house, which I would likely call them to do. Bottom line, I should have called these folks about two dryers ago, since their longevity was probably shortened by the pre-existing bad design (now corrected by DVT) read more
