We had air duct and dryer vent cleaning done by Ductworks. Their service was timely, honest, and professional. We will be repeat customers!

Ductworks cleaned our ducts after we had gone through popcorn ceiling removal, which was a messy process. They sent us before and after pictures and the difference is astounding! So much cleaner! It was easy to get an appointment and the technician showed up on time and was very polite. He did a fantastic job. We highly recommend this company! read more

Our was dryer giving a vent blockage error message. Our furnace company recommended Ductworks for dryer vent cleaning. I DON'T! If you have a dryer roof vent, do not use this company. They will not go on your roof. Person who arrived said he would be here an hour or more. After 15 minutes he left. His equipment looked impressive. Ultimately, he just pushed lint tight into the external roof vent. Charged $250 for incomplete service. Charged extra for two story vent when the vent was one story on our roof. And " may " give a partial refund. They knew our dryer had a roof vent when we inquired about their service. They should have declined my request, knowing they couldn't do a complete cleaning. We called a dryer repair since the Ductwork cleaning didn't fix our problem. Dryer repairman discovered the problem immediately and went on roof and dislodged the lint blockage. The only redeeming quality, Ductworks technician was pleasant. read more

In September we had our ducts cleaned by Warren with Ductworks and are extremely happy with the service and quality of work. We are the 2nd owners of this house and I'm guessing in 20+ years they have never been cleaned. We were able to find an appointment quickly and easily. I appreciated the ease of scheduling. We received a call ahead of time confirming the appointment and Warren arrived promptly. He walked me through the process, how long it would take and what I should expect. He finished right on time and showed me some before and after photos. I can't believe that was in our ducts! The house instantly felt cleaner. I'm not sure how often this needs to be done/service etc but we plan to use them again. With temps changing in Broomfield we fired up our furnace this week and saw a noticeable difference with nothing blowing around the house. A bit embarrassing but check out how gross these vents are - explains why it seems things are flying around all the time. Highly recommend for service and quality of work and definitely ask for Warren as your service man. read more

Big thanks to DUCTWORKS (cleaning of all ducts/vents, returns and dryer connections)! Our house was built in 2018 and was worried that there may be construction dust in the duct work. It did not look like previous owners ever considered same (there were no access sections on large/main air supply duct). Sure enough, there was drywall dust. Now, after internal cleaning, they are shiny new looking. Service tech Madhi was friendly, timely, informative (before/after photos throughout the service), respectful of property (commercial blankets on the wood floor, wall corner protectors, etc.), meticulous, conscientious and thorough. It was a long tough job (7 hours), but Madhi never slowed down. All for a reasonable price. My original email quote request was promptly answered and in concise and professional manner. I am so impressed with their excellent service. read more

I was referred to them by another company that happened to not do duct cleaning. According to that company "they are the best in this industry". I just had my ducts cleaned today. The last cleaning this house got was probably when it was built a few decades ago. Jose showed up right on time and got to work right away. He was SO THOROUGH. He literally went through everything and made sure it's clean. Price was way less than what I was quoted for with another company. read more

Wow, what a find! I own a rental in Erie Highlands (Built 2 years ago) and apparently the drywallers just swept the drywall sanding dust into the ducts. My renters were always having respiratory problems and sickness so I decided to have the air tested. Joe Riley of Airtestco did the air quality testing and came up with the silica/gypsum in the dust as the main issue. He recommended we call Eric at Ductworks 303-425-0985 to set up an appointment. I did that and Eric was wonderful. He was able to go to my home in two days and sent his tech, Will who did a fantastic job. My renter felt Will was super knowledgeable and respectful of the property. He spent 5+ hours cleaning the ductwork and we're very pleased. read more

I hired this company for a $550 residential "Complete Ventilation Cleaning Package" after having the service recommended by a neighbor. After waiting more than three months for my scheduled service, the technician arrived on 8/27 and spent about 4 hours working on the 12 vents and returns in my home. At the beginning I pointed out the vent that prompted me to hire Ductworks which was not producing any air (neither A/C or heat). At the end of the session I was told that everything was clean and working properly. Their website says that techs make sure "that all of the foreign debris is removed" after completing the job. I was sent impressive before and after photos from the company later that day. The next day I realized the same vent was still not producing air so I tracked down an endoscope and checked - the vent was blocked with what appeared to be a lot of debris about 10 feet down. I called the company and Patrick sent out another tech the next day (9/1). He took a look with the endoscope I had and confirmed that the job had not been done properly for this vent and said he'd talk to his boss (Patrick, I assume) to get a time scheduled to come fix it. I was told I'd be called the next day. On 9/8 I still hadn't been called back so I called them. Patrick told me that the job had been finished but if I wanted them to come fix the blockage they could. The catch? It would cost more. I protested on the grounds that their website promises all foreign debris would be removed and said that I would exercise my right to post a review of my experience. He immediately backpedalled and said someone would be out the next day to deal with this as a favor even though this circumstance wasn't covered by the package I hired them for. The call didn't sit well with me so I took the ducting apart myself that afternoon and pulled everything in the first attached photo out of that vent line. Yes, that is a full VHS - all of this is from the prior owners of my home since the room with this vent is now a home office with no toys/kids stuff. I called back and explained that I fixed it myself and that I was disappointed in how I'd been treated and was uncomfortable with how this had been handled. Patrick promised to send someone out the next day between 3 and 6pm to double check the rest of the work anyways and offered no other means to make this right. The next day the tech called about 5pm and explained another job went long and he couldn't be there that day until 6pm, if I was comfortable with such a late service call, but that he'd be out the next day (today - 9/10) if I preferred that. I said the next day would work better than a late service call. I spent some time thinking about it all that evening. Today I canceled because NONE of this sits right with me. I should never have had to argue with Patrick in the first place to get the service I paid for without being charged more. I also shouldn't have been forgotten after I called them with an obvious problem after the initial service. I decided I would rather let people know the kind of hassle they can expect with Patrick if there is a problem with the service. At this point, the only way they could make it right is *at least* a partial refund because the service I got was not as advertised, not worth anywhere near $550, and I ended up fixing the problem myself, essentially doing their job for them, after being given the run-around. The 33' endoscope I got my hands on also shows old cobwebs in other duct lines too (see the second photo from a vent in a different room). I'm not convinced that Ductworks cleans any more than the first few feet of each vent with their "Complete Ventilation Cleaning Package". I don't appreciate being treated like this by a service company and I am left feeling like they tried to take my money and run because I am a woman who probably wouldn't know any better. I saved up for this service because I don't have the time/equipment to do it all myself, but I know my way around construction having designed and built my own house in the past. read more

My mother in law used these guys to have her ducts cleaned on February 15, 2019 and was not worth the hassle after waiting for 3 months to get the vents cleaned. We received picture only after complaining and a broken dryer. During the service event, the tech named Alexy pulled her dryer out to clean the dryer vent and did not reinstall it. After the service my mother in law started using her dryer to find that it wasn't drying cloths correctly or the same it was prior to the service. Unfortunately we did not discover the vent was clogged till after her dryer malfunctioned. When we requested Ductworks to come out and re clean the vent on Saturday the 16th, they said they would call back on Sunday the 17th. On Sunday at 11am we received a call from someone and said they will call us back to let you know what we will do. On Monday Jason called and left a message that he was calling about our service on Friday and that he needed to speak to the tech to understand what was done asked for us to give him a call back. We also sent an email with no response. We called him back on Tuesday 19, and he repeated all the same things. Tried to tell us that vents do tend to get clogged when they go out the roof. Don't know what dryer vents he has been cleaning but they usually go out a side wall as our does. Due to the delay on Duct works part we had to clean the dryer vent ourselves which the weather was extremely cold and non forgiving. My father in law had to pull the dryer vent apart under the house to unclog the vent line that the tech had clogged. Jason's response when we finally got ahold of him was we never gave him a chance to resolve the issue and here she is having to pay to have her dryer repaired because of Ductworks horrible service and customer service. We all used to use Ductworks, and never again after this horrible customer service experience. Received a response from the company expressing explaining in an poor and arrogant way that this review is a poor example of poor customer service. Blaming us for the damages to our dryer but saying that because they gave back the 25 it's ok and not on them. They also go on to say that our dryer was installed wrong. Yet it is not as he says the only flexible ducting is used to connected the dryer to the wall and even then is an acceptable and approved dryer solution. This company is a joke. Oh and the dryer is still broken which is a direct result of Duct works neglect and poor service period. read more

We have been contacted by several "fly by night" duct cleaning companies offering to clean our ducts for $199.00. The old adage, if it's too good to be true, it probably is, applies. We called and had Ductworks come out. They did a wonderful job, cleaned out our ducts and our furnace and they were filthy before and spotless after. This was a new construction home and we had a ton of construction debris. Highty recommend Ductworks. read more

Air duct cleaning probably has more controversy associated with it than any other home maintenance activity. Some people contend it isn't needed at all, and the number of vendors doing it wrong cast a taint over the entire industry. It has been eight years since I moved into my new house. That length of time plus the fallout from the nasty air we experienced during last summer's fire season prompted me to call Ductworks. I chose them because I've seen the quality of their work doing my HOA's recreation center every year as well as their length of time in business and reputation. They weren't the cheapest, not the most expensive. They showed up on time, protected my home's interior while working, and did the job promised with satisfactory results. Ever since, the quantity of dust on my flat surfaces has decreased remarkably, which should answer those who say it isn't needed. I don't suffer from allergies, so I can't comment on any benefits duct cleaning has on those. Watch out for bad actors claiming to be professional duct cleaners. It takes more than a shop vac and a website! Ductworks opened up all my ducts to get stiff brushes into every corner, and their powerful vacuum sucked up everything in its path. read more

Ductworks did an EXCELLENT job cleaning out ducts of a home we'd just purchased that I don't think had ever been cleaned. Considering I had a different duct cleaner come out to a different house and had the worst experience I've ever had with a service company. We were lucky in that Ductworks had a cancellation and were able to move us forward in the schedule and off of the weekend. The tech that came out, Mike, was in our place for about 5 hours. He cleaned the registers, intake grates and the blower fan in our furnace. Everything they showed in their video was done to our home. He was kind and courteous and even worked with the fact that we couldn't find a working hose bib at our house. He carefully washed everything in our kitchen sink after asking if that was acceptable and cleaned up any mess he made throughout the house. read more

Terrible and BEWARE! When I scheduled the appointment I specifically asked for them to LEAVE THE DEBRIS from the ducts as I dropped something valuable down a duct. I asked them to please make a note of it. I also asked the technician when he arrived. He said the bag broke?!?! And there was no debris?! They totally are rip offs! And a damage to my ceiling when they removed the vent. TERRIBLE and BAD BUSINESS practices. Plus I have a photo of a bag full of debris in his truck and asked him about it and he still wouldn't give it to me. DON'T USE DUCTWORKS - THIEVES!! Crooked business! I'd noticed my house was dusty all if the time, no matter how often I changed my air filter, and I realized I'd never had my ducts cleaned. After years of hearing Slacker talk about how great Duct Works is, I finally gave them a try for myself. Eddy took my call and scheduled the appointment. He was so nice and accommodating, thoroughly explaining what would happen so I knew what to expect. Michael Simmons was my technician, and he was fantastic. He also explained what to expect, and as I toured him around my home, he made a point to love on my dogs so they didn't freak out on him for being a stranger. Michael did an outstanding job, was very clean, quick, professional and most importantly thorough. He was just wonderful! After he was finished, Michael showed me the bridge and after photos and I was disgusted at what my family had been breathing for so long. It was amazing to see the before, and then the gleaming ducts after. Simply amazing! I had a wonderful experience and will recommend this great company to everyone! read more

We have hired Ductworks at least three times over the years. The recent duct-cleaning didn't reveal a lot of dust in our heating system, but the hard-working Ductworks employee, Lonny, exceeded our expectations by vacuuming not only the ducts themselves but also the floor areas where the dust likes to accumulate. Lonny was very knowledgable and very kind. We hope to hire him again! read more

I am writing this review to sing the high praises of Ductworks and specifically their technician named Brandon. Polite - sincere in wishing to help me - and very knowledgeable ... I had a fan installed by an electrical company that simply did not work. They referred me to Ductworks to see if there was a blockage preventing the motor from running. Brandon looked with a camera through the duct and determined that it was not the problem. The best part is that he suggested the motor was not wired correctly and had no power. What a help and how grateful was I to have another option to try. The punchline is that the electrical company came back today and Brandon was right!! The problem is fixed and all thanks to someone who went well beyond the basics to service the customer. I am very grateful. read more

I heard an ad for Ductworks service on KOA Radio so I figured I'd give it a try. They came out the very next day and I was assured by the service man that he would do a great job and would make sure everything was clean. When I came home that afternoon, I was very disappointed to see that nearly every floor vent had saw dust, drywall dust (and chunks of drywall mud) and various debris left on the floor. I removed all the floor vents and found debris still in some of the ducts. The cold air return vents had white drywall dust on the floor below them. My furniture was not replaced, the lights were left on and I found two of the cold air return vents had not been cleaned. I immediately called and spoke with someone who had Chuck call me. Chuck asked if he could come over the next morning to look at how my house was left. I took pictures of everything if anyone wants to see them... He came over the next morning with another technician (his best guy he said) and offered to clean everything up and have the technician check the ducts to be sure they were cleaned properly. He then offered me a $25 discount (WOW!) off of the $400 invoice. When I came home that evening, the debris had been cleaned up, but some of the furniture still had not been moved back. I will definitely not be using Ductworks again. read more

BUYER BEWARE!! Today tech Luis arrived at my home and after being here about 20 minutes, I was sitting in the kitchen watching him (with my 3 year old daughter) and he pulled the handle off of the large 75-80lb vacuum and it went barreling down my stairs, hit my wall, front door and woodwork and hardwood floor. we called the owner after asking the young man how much experience he had and he replied, "about 6 months". we requested a more experienced tech come out to replace Luis after losing all confidence and had a conversation with "Eddie" the owner who refused to replace him told him to pack up and leave and when calling him back to find out what was going on he replied, I can reschedule you! He had his tech come back and take pictures of my foyer. He denies any damage done to my floor, ALREADY! I WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! Eddie was very condescending to my wife and said, "accidents happen!" read more

First off, I did not pay for this as my insurance covered the work after the water damage restoration company made a mess. So I have no idea what this cost. Having said that, I am truly pleased with the thoroughness of the technician Ernesto who came to my home. My floors were covered, corners of things had hard plastic stand-alone protectors so my furniture and wall corners would not be scraped by the hoses. The technician wore cloth covers on his shoes and placed them on the wheels of his equipment as well! The spinning brush system really clobbered the debris in my ventilation shafts and it was all sucked out! Each vent and each air intake duct was thoroughly cleaned as was the dryer vent and my furnace. I am breathing better already! Very pleased with the work performed. Took over 6 hours, but the attention to detail and care that Ernesto took really impressed the heck out of me. read more

My ducts had not been cleaned in 45 years. I know that because I have lived in this house since it was built. My husband would not pay for anything so we lived with dirty ducts. It took the technician all day to get them clean. He showed my daughter and I the before and after photos and it was an amazing difference, especially the return air vents. My daughter had taken pictures before the technician ever arrived and verified after he left. What he showed us was our ducts not just a stock photo. My returns were black from 45 years of cigarette smoke. Now they are as clean as the day the house was built. I highly recommend this company. They are amazing. read more

I had Ductworks come to my home on a Friday to clean our entire duct system, after having a new $6,700.00 furnace installed. I could not have been nicer the technician named Mario who was at my house for 9 hours. He not only completely wasted my personal time that day talking to me at length throughout the day, all the while telling me how it was going to take the entire day to do this job but wasted my child's time too. As I was home that day trying to homeschool my 1st grade daughter. We had 25 ducts to be cleaned that day. He didn't even bother to clean 11 of them, half of them, and none of the return ducts in our basement's crawl space either. He also didn't bother to cover the coils on our new furnace to prevent debris from getting into the coils. The life of a furnace. I knew he wasn't cleaning all the ducts because I was watching him and even asked him if he had. He completely lied to me and told me several times that he had. At the end of the day I took photos of the ducts he said he cleaned and there were cobwebs over some of them, so I knew they weren't touched. I took photos of the the dirty ducts he tried to bill me $625.00 for all the end of that very long and extremely noisy day. He was at my house talking to me for so long, that he made me late for my cats Vet appt. After he left, he drove after my car honking and chasing me and pulled me over because he forgot his bag in my house. I had to go back and let him in, which made me even later for the appt. for my sick cat. That Monday I called and left a message for a Manager at Ductworks, named Patrick Rose. He called me back and said he would have another technician named Luis come out to finish the job. When Luis got to my home it was already 4:00. He couldn't believe how much work was missed and not been cleaned. He said Mario was probably riding the clock that day to claim more hours. He said there was too much work to be done that day. He told me he would have to come back out yet another day to finish the work and it was going to take him several hours. He called Patrick Rose and told him all this. Patrick, called me back and told me he would have Luis come back out that Friday to finish the work. This all made me late again for another appt. I had that evening. That following Friday, my husband had to take half the day off of work to be home again for this company to home to our home for a 3rd time. After several hours of listening to the extremely loud machines, he left. While he cleaned several ducts by the ceiling he scratched up 2 ceiling areas, to the point I will need to repaint that part of the ceiling. Again wasting more of my time. After all of this Ductworks had the gull to send us not only a bill, but the entire bill! I was flabbergasted! I again had to call the company and spoke with a technician that said he would have Patrick call me back. Patrick called me and left a message saying the bill was due and in full. This was so not right! I then had to call again and spoke with another Manager named Jason Erb. I spend more time explaining everything that had happened and all of our time spend during all this and the painting that was going to need to be done. He told me he wanted to speak to other people at the company and call me back. Instead of just waiving the bill and being done with this. He called me back and said there was not going to any discount and the bill was outstanding in full. This is so incredible that this company would not take any responsibility of this and instead put it on me and my family. This company wants me to pay for all of their mistakes. I am absolutely not. I will now have to take them to small claims court over this. I will also have to have another company, one that I can actually trust to come to my home and properly clean our system. Please trust me, don't walk but run from this un-ethical company. read more

I called Ductworks to come clean my air ducts for the second time. While I was pleased with their work the first time, my experience this time was HORRIBLE. The technician walked around my house, counted all the vents, and told me that it was going to be $655. I signed the invoice agreeing to the cost, he did the work and left. The next morning I received a call from the front office, telling me the technician made an error in his math, and I owed them more than $100 extra. This was absurd to me, since I agreed to the $655, and had already paid them. I was transferred to an owner, Eddie, who berated me, called me a thief (several times), told me I was unethical, etc. I have a real problem with an owner of a company yelling at me, calling me names, all because of what he considered was a math error by HIS technician. If someone gives me a cost for a service, I agree to that cost, and authorize it, how on earth can he come back later telling me I owe them more money? The lack of professionalism by this company is surreal. On top of all of this, one of my furnace's that they worked on is not operating. Of course I will not be calling them back, I have another company coming out to fix it. I would never recommend this company to anyone, and will not be shy in sharing my experience with my entire network of associates and friends. read more

We had our ducts cleaned for peace of mind, especially having no knowledge of the 'history' of our home before we purchased it. And one really doesn't get to see what air ducts looked like before or after. I know that Ductworks did the job, though I'm frustrated in how I'm convinced. The techs left many of our duct covers improperly replaced, or in one case missing altogether. I also found they dis-lodged one of the ducts in the basement, leaving treated (heated) air gushing into the basement area. Finally, they left a mess near the furnace - sheet metal, old furnace filtre replaced. Basically a complete lack of followup and job completion. When I talked to the main office, it was suggested I'd be receiving before and after pictures; which never arrived. So ultimately, we got the job done. Next time, I'd either follow up closely on the details, or hire another company. read more
