This seemed so high to solely clear the dryer duct. I put in a project request for a whole house duct clean and Cesar responded SO FAST. He gave me a reasonable quote for the whole house including the dryer duct. 5 stars for communication throughout the whole process, from quick Yelp responses to letting me know he was on his way this morning, and for showing me photos and videos of before and after of the ducts, and just for an all around professional in-person experience. During the initial tour I asked if he also cleaned the fans in the laundry and bathrooms and he said that's not typically a part of the service, but he was happy to take a look and give them some compressed air. The before and after pics of the laundry room fan were NO JOKE. He said we might have saved that motor and I believe it. It always feels strange having a stranger move throughout the whole house, but Cesar was incredibly professional, immediately wore booties upon entering the house without me even asking, and was so gracious when we asked him to step outside a couple of times so we could move our unfriendly dog to a different floor as he moved through the space. The best part... the dryer is working flawlessly now! Hooray! I would not hesitate to recommend or hire Cesar again for any duct or HVAC needs.

I found him to be genuine, honest, didn't try to up-sell me, there were no hidden charges for extra returns or vents or anything. He also cleaned my furnace. And showed me why I didn't need my dryer vent done, saving me money! He also didn't try to prove that there was more dirt than there was in my vents, as I've seen some companies do. He's just a good, hard working, independent businessman. Give him your business. I had the work done because it had been 12 years since I had another company clean my air ducts. I called his referral who quoted me a whopping $425 for 15 vents plus $12 each additional vent. That price seemed quite high, so I took to Craigslist and came across Fresh N Clean Duct Cleaning. I called, and Bryan, the owner and operator, quoted me $279 for 16 vents. His company doesn't have much of a presence on the internet, so I could not find impartial reviews. I called one other duct cleaner who quoted me $300 for 16 vents. I took the chance and had Fresh N Clean Duct Cleaning come out, and Bryan was able to schedule me in within a week's time. Bryan showed up as scheduled and was very kind. He explained to me what he was going to do and other aspects of the process, and he went straight to work. Our ducts and vents were particularly dirty, and the vents were a pain to remove and install due to the shoddy carpet installation, so Bryan ended up taking about 30 minutes longer than he initially thought. However, he went above and beyond to get the vents reinstalled properly and never asked for additional money or tried to sell me any additional products. He left the work areas clean of debris, explained to me what he found and how often he recommends a cleaning, and went on his way. I was concerned that the dust from Bryan's work would dirty our recently cleaned furnace, but Bryan told me his process won't affect the furnace. After he left, I removed the furnace panel and found only some minor dust that I was able to blow off by mouth. Unbeknown to Bryan, I had removed a vent from the main trunk in the basement and snapped a photo prior to his cleaning, and then I removed that same vent and snapped a photo after he left. I was happy to find a clean trunk line, and I can only assume he did as good a job on all the smaller lines. Overall, I highly recommend Bryan with Fresh N Clean Duct Cleaning.

Dimitri was here only a couple hours after my call, promptly at the beginning of the service window. A few short minutes of troubleshooting later and the system was working perfectly again. It was only a clogged pressure sensor port, so he waived the repair fee and I only paid a bit for the service call itself. He did mention that it's quite an older unit and really should be replaced at some point soon, but that was it. No sales pressure at all, which I really appreciated. Overall this was a great experience, and I know exactly who to call for any future issues and that eventual replacement. Highly recommend!

I finally determined why my dryer was not behaving properly, and it was time to take care of my…read moreclogged up dryer vent system. Yelp guided me to several options to consider for service, and upon reading many reviews, I decided to contact Safe Dryers. I contacted them rather late on a Friday afternoon, but they promptly texted me back, and got me on their calendar. Saul and his colleague arrived at the scheduled time, and got to work. They vacuumed out a pile of lint, and exclaimed at the amount in such a short dryer vent :). They measured the airflow, and explained to me what the ideal airflow is, what mine was at the start, and what it is now. They answered every question that I had about the state of the system and how I should maintain it going forward. They were efficient and cordial. What else can I expect? I'd like to point out that Safe Dryers wasn't the first company I called. The company, which was referred by my appliance repair folks, wanted to come to "inspect" my system for a low fee, and then "assess" what needed to be done and provide an estimate on site. When I asked how much it would cost to clean the vent, which I knew needed to be done, this other company would not answer that question. They insisted on a $69 visit to provide that assessment and cost. Safe Dryers had a simple answer--$169 for a ground level vent, $259 for something 10' off the ground or more. I'm sure if Saul and his team found something amiss while they were here, they would have told me about it, but all I needed was that vent cleaning, and that is what I got. A bargain at $169. After getting a new washer/dryer, we discovered that the hose of the dryer hadn't been sealed…read morecorrectly. There was lent all over the place and the hose was hanging on by a thread. Saul had come out to clean the vent back in July so I called him to ask what might have happened and if he'd noticed anything at the time. He came out the next day to evaluate and remedy the situation. He was very thorough, replaced the tubing and cleaned the lent mess, all free of charge! He apologized for the oversight (it was difficult to see that the metal attaching to the tubing had been warped and was therefore not fitting correctly). He not only took accountability but was very timely and respectful in his approach. This kind of high-quality customer service is very rare these days and it was much appreciated! We'll definitely be using Safe Dryers in the future and will recommend him to others who are in need of these services.

The guys were really polite and nice but the work was just not it, before they started they were…read moresitting outside in the truck as the equipment warmed up, they had placed blue tape over all the vents not currently being used to pull dirt out of and I walked around and had to fix the blue tape on almost all of the vents because they didn't actually cover the entire vent. There were 5 vents just totally skipped over and not covered so I walked back out to the truck and asked them for materials to cover the missed vents, they did apologize but still I shouldn't be having to do that. walking around rignt after they left I have broken vents, a vent that is hanging out of the ceiling, plastic still on a vent that was half in half out and broken... I was busy with the baby and kids so I didn't see it all until after... the owner went above and beyond to rectify it all but it all should have never happened in the first place...

Stuart came by today to remove a metal mesh from my dryer vent that the roofer left in there…read more He told me he couldn't do that when he got up on my ranch house roof and looked at it. He said it wasn't something he could do. It seem kind of weird because I went up there by myself two years ago and was able to bend a 2" x 2" area of the mesh down to allow airflow with just my hand. I am disabled now, so I can't go out there. But anyway, then I asked him if he could just clean the vent because I definitely think it's got a build up of lint because the dryer is running hot and it is a gas dryer. He declined to do the cleaning either... Which is weird because I've cleaned it multiple times with my vacuum since it's only about 3 feet long. I just can't get on the ladder anymore to do that. Then...he charged me a $60 trip fee. He did not mention on the phone when I made the appointment that there was a trip fee. This was a waste of my time and money.
