Avoid Sparks at all costs - they are running a scam and prying on people experiencing AC issues. Sadly we fell victim to the scam that Tim and Michele are posing as a company. Their service left us without air for nearly a week after paying $500 to "fix" the issue. Their subcontractors didn't show up when scheduled, gave 3 different diagnoses (all of which were wrong) and ended up adding too much Freon to the point where we needed a legit tech to come out and fix Sparks' work. They hide behind text message and refuse to pick up the phone to discuss the job they charged $500 for. Please don't repeat our mistake and give this "company " any business! read more

Avoid using Sparks Electric. They replaced my HVAC in July 2022, only three (3) years ago. The equipment ran satisfactory for about one (1) year but then we started to see issues. Not only did Sparks do a sloppy job installing the equipment but the A-coil they installed was the incorrect size. The A-coil was too small and it caused stress on the system. They tried to hide the fact the A-coil was too small by overusing tape and patching with sheet metal. There were several other issues including not attaching the vents which prevented the carbon monoxide to vent properly. Do not trust Tim. read more

I'm questioning my service warranty as Tim had sold me on a 10-yr warranty with the A/C. Neither he or his team has been able to produce any warranty documents for me to hold with regard to my purchase after a half dozen requests. One of my biggest hesitations with this cheaper recommended A/C was warranty documentation as I read online that the manufacture will not honor these warranties if the installer does not file the correct paperwork and that you as an owner have the documentation in hand as well. The unit appears new and works. Response, quote, and installation were quick. Prices were very fair. But I hope that doesn't come at a cost when this unit breaks down and I have no warranty filed with the manufacturer...My two star rating stems from half a dozen responses to the owner with no resolution to my request for warranty documentation. read more

This place is pretty terrible. They've been back to my house on 7 different occasions starting back in may, it's now August. They have repeatedly failed to give any notice at all they were coming by, told my wife she looks like a 12 year old child after repeatedly asking her to call her parents(very uncomfortable interaction), left a pool of water and bits of scrap metal scattered across my basement and yard and to top it off, the AC still doesn't work. Everything was great except for the appointment process. Scheduled for a 3 pm on a Saturday and they showed up at 10:30 am when I wasn't home. Rescheduled and the guy who came out to the house was very nice, wore his mask and checked everything letting me know repairs weren't needed, just a good cleaning and they would provide a quote within 24 hours. I called and asked for a routine service of our two units. $399.80. Young gentlemen that were fresh out of school. They arched the capacitor, forgot to cut the power before working on the unit, never tested the refrigerant levels properly because both of their gauges were not working and leaked. They were here 2.5 hours and we had to watch them both the entire time. Nice and polite but they need more experience. We paid a lot for a whole lot of busy work. So much for the $70 service call. This is a great firm to work with. The technician could have easily charged me to do unnecessary work, since I had no idea what was wrong with our heat pump, but he told me exactly what was wrong and fixed it without padding the bill.
