Worst service ever. Besides NOT being clean they're very RUDE. When it was my turn to get my pedicure, I seen how they attempted to use the SAME exact tools that they were using with the person next to me that had a fungal toenail...and when I called her out on and asked her to please disinfect the tools, she made a face, and started talking smack in her native language with her co workers.... oh and not to Mentioned I usually tip $5 for pedicure but this time around I was short in cash and tipped $2 ... These guys always do a fantastic job on my nails! The prices are way lower than the LA average without sacrificing quality. They've also done a great job at following COVID safety protocols. Would highly suggest coming to check this place out to get the best bang for your buck. read more

This is the second time here. My Mom had Tracy and I had Amy. Both are very gentle and nice. They do not rush on your nails. The salon is clean. It doesn't smell in the salon either. I would highly recommend coming here. read more

So far this is one of my favorite places for nails. It's my first time here but I'm not disappointed. The ladies took precautions for covid and was clean. My experience with classy nails had me very satisfied as a customer. I believe the woman Pham did my nails and she worked really fast but thoroughly. All the lengths were even and I liked how the acrylic wasn't too thick. Kinda disappointed because all the reviews were so great. This was definately not 4.5 star worthy. I came in a pinch because my usual girl had the day off at my usual place so I had to find a new nail place & this was close to work. As I walked in, I had to wait a minute before anyone acknowledged me even though one of the nail techs saw me walking into the shop when we were outside & walked in front of me to get back inside. I had called earlier in the day to make an appointment & specifically asked for Pam, as all the raving reviews specifically mentioned her. When I got there, she was not the one working on me. The ladies were nice enough but soooo SLOW! It was after work so it was already late in the evening. They stayed open because I was there but for it to take 1 hour with 2 people working, I got a mani pedi, that was too long. My usual girl can get me out in 30 mins for both services. The lady doing my mani must have just got out of beauty school if she even went at all. I could have done a better job myself. She even cut my nail too close because I flinched a bit. The lady doing my pedi was alright. The shop itself was pretty old school & I felt uncomfortable as they kept speaking in Vietnamese to each other the whole time. They did ask me if everything was ok from time to time but I just wanted to get out. After this session, I think I'm going to go back to my usual girl as I know what I'm gonna get. I love this place! This has been my go to for over a year now and it never disappoints. Both the nail artists, Pam and Navie, are super friendly and leave me with beautiful sets. I'm very indecisive when it comes to my nails so both ladies are very helpful when it comes to color and style recommendations. I've also get gel pedicures done and I'm always happy with how they're done with any of the women. They do tend to get busy so it's best to call ahead and ask how long the wait is or if they're busy, they're always happy to let you know when to come in. They do let appointments slip but keep in mind they like to keep their seats full especially with a lot of walk-ins, so I recommend just calling ahead or showing up to wait. Weekends are always crazy busy but the results are worth it! read more

If you're familiar with the Best Buy/99 Cent Store shopping complex, it's in there but all the way by the Office Depot side. I've been searching high and low for a new nail salon to go to since my manicurist left the place I've been going to for years. Alas, my search is over!!! Classy Nails is clean, great price, friendly workers, plenty of parking, awesome owner and they do excellent work!!!!! To top everything off, Best Buy is in the same lot so my husband can go in there and kill some time while I'm getting pampered. I LOVE that the ladies don't try to pressure you into spending more money on unnecessary things. As a matter of fact, Pam (the owner) saved me money by suggesting something else over what I originally asked for! Who does that nowadays?? Here's a tip: they are closed on Sundays but if you can't make it on any other day, call them and make an appointment, they will come in and take you. Pam personally didn't do my nails, but she made sure I was happy with the services. I used to like this place a lot. My acrylics, pedicure and manicure were good at the beginning but later I noticed they were done rushed. I started noticing the ladies were not cleaning their instruments after each client, all they do I rinse them in the sink and put them a few seconds in that machine were hey worm up the towels. Hmmmm it makes me wonder. The other day the girl was working on a pedicure on a client and she went to massage another girl feet. I went as a walk in on a Friday afternoon for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. It was pretty busy, but I ended up waiting about 20 minutes. Prices are reasonable ($30ish? for both). Definitely impressed by the fact that it's been over 2 weeks and there still has been NO chipping or peeling on my gel manicure. So I came here on a holiday, Martin Luther King, Jr., and it wasn't busy at all. I was helped by Jennifer. The place is small and everyone that came in seemed to be a regular there. Jennifer was very nice and gave me the nails I wanted after showing her a picture. The only reason why I gave 3 stars is because the place is kind of dirty. There was a spider crawling on the counter when she was filing my nails, and there were a bunch of dead bugs at the bottom of the machine that you put your hands in to dry for gel manicures. Other than that, I would say it's a reasonable place to go. Gel manicures are $19 or $20--I forgot. And they charge $1 if you use your credit card. read more

I've got to say that I'm very picky when it comes to my nails, so when I heard about this place I was a little skeptical but I thought I would give it a try since my old nail lady is no longer in business. I made an appointment with Pam for a full set and when I got there, yes it was a little hard to find but once I stepped inside I was surprised by how cute and professional this little place was. Pam was awesome! She did everything that I asked her for. I'm very detail orientated, and she noticed that right away so she was very cautious in making sure that I was pleased with the end result. With a pedicure and full set acrylic I was in and out in about an hour and 15 minutes, which is decent considering the wonderful job they both did. Pedicure was a bit pricey at $15 but because I was in the massage chair I didn't complain. Pam charged me only $16 for the full set which I think is amazing, and totally worth it. Another note, I noticed that both Pam and the lady that did my pedicure were very clean and made sure to clean all of their equipment and the tub where my feet were soaking. Love love love the job these gals do! Been here more than a couple times and by far they are my go to gals I won't let anyone else cut my toe nails other than Mimi she's so good at when you have a painful nail and getting it to feel good again, and for manis I love Jennifer she's awesome at applying nail polish weather it be gel or regular she makes my nails looks like a million bucks! I just wish they had more neutral options in gel since that's all I'm allowed to wear for work :( Also the lady boss Pam is awesome she's done some waxing for me and is great fast and knows how to pull (if you've waxed as much as I have then you know that's important :D lol ) DONT go in a rush expecting to be in and out (that's why I love them they take their time) that's why I go when it's not busy so as far as waiting time and how busy they get I'm not too sure on that since I've only gone at non busy times which is right when they open! The one thing that sets this shop apart is that the staff are extremely accomodating, friendly and skilled. The prices are pretty competitive and are average. I've been here twice in the last month for a pedicure and a full set with gel. The techs are super attentive to detail. I've witness happy customers come in for facial waxing and also facials. We went to do our nails the Friday that they re opened due to covid. It was a crazy day for all nail places. We went to several different ones before we ended up here. The staff here are all very friendly and nice. Despite how busy they were they still accepted us. Other nail places had a attitude, sounded bothered and turned us away. They kindly accepted us if we were willing to wait. We waited a little over a hour with no appointment due to how busy they were. We were the last ones to get our nails done and no matter how tired everyone was they were all so sweet. The owner even made cute masks and passed them out. I will definitely be back! read more

Not the cleanest place I've been too, but it meets the minimum standards for a manicure. I opted out of getting a pedicure, however, due to the conditions. They took me immediately, but it was 10:30am on as Friday morning. She did a descent job on my manicure, particularly given that my nails are shot to hell after 20 years of acrylics. I didn't like being pressured to put acrylics back on, but that is likely to happen at most places. The manicure is definitely no thrills--no massage at all...lame!!! The location is close to work for me and I would probably use them again in a pinch because my nails do look nice (and they didn't when I walked in). So, if you need a quick manicure you should be fine, but I won't be making this my go to salon! Note, this place is a bit out of sight. It's directly next to the post office. read more

This place is not fancy. But the customer service is great and Pam does an amazing job. The first time I came I made an appointment but waited almost an hour to be seen. There aren't very many nail techs. The ladies were very nice and the quality of the manicure was spot on - so I decided to give them another try. Came on a Wednesday afternoon place was empty. With so many nail shops in the area to choose from, I'm glad I have found Classy Nails. They are the best I have tried in Montebello. First and foremost they run a very clean and legit place. I've had spa pedicure's, regular manicure's and gel manicure's and have been very pleased by the work. All of my visits have been walk in's and they have been very accommodating. I am a creature of habit, thus I usually prefer the same person to work on my nails. At Classy nails I have broken this habit and tried different gals and they have all been great. Smaller than pics look. But the floor was clean!!! The girls were friendly. Mid day Saturday and not crowded at all. Clientele was much older this day..bunion filing etc. The quality was good. I of course was having a fibromyalgia flare and that makes it hard to move and they were so patient. The girl working on my toes tho.... needed help. Maybe new. Coughed on my toe lol.... but so conscientious otherwise. My last shop made a big deal of cleaning the spa tubs... Fabuloso really? But the floors were filthy....so who knows. Yelp kinda let me down with this place. I've been working late, and my normal salons all close about 7 p.m., so I needed to find some place close to work to get a manicure and pedicure before an event next week. I called to make an appointment and made sure to let them know I was coming on my lunch break. I didn't really need the appointment, because there was only one other girl getting a gel manicure when I came in, and no one else arrived while I was there. Overall, it was only okay. The pedicure was decent, but it took over an hour, which wasn't cool, and it wasn't as if she was doing anything really special, like massaging my feet, she was just moving really slow. I've never had it take more than 30 minutes for a spa pedicure, so I was really surprised. The manicure looks clean, but my nails are shaped poorly and I want to go back in and file them, but I'm afraid it will mess up the polish. Also, they didn't have any nail dryers, only a fan to dry my toes, and since it already took over an hour, I couldn't wait too long for them to completely dry. Neither of the girls wore name tags, or told me their names, so I can't say who did what. The price was right ($22 for mani/pedi), but I won't be going back. read more
