I love this nail salon. It's very relaxed for the most part. Only once have I had a bad experience here with one of the nail techs arguing with the receptionist. Besides that, every time I come is amazing. I get my pedicure done with Angela. I pay around 65$ but that includes acrylic on my toes and french tip. Acrylic was recommended by Angela because my nails are very fragile and break easily. I definitely will keep coming back. Scheduled first time appt with Ken for manicure with builder gel. Ken was very rude and actually yelled at me. He hated me having questions when it's my first time getting builder gel. He completely forgot to do manicure and ignored me when I told him. Seems they also don't know how to properly apply builder gel. After applying it he used nail drill to practically file it all down. I was so confused, that's when I asked about the process and got yelled at. He proceeded with 2 coats of pink and clear gel polish, but where did the builder gel go? I visited yesterday (5/29) for a manicure and pedicure, and right from the start, the manager seemed more focused on upselling additional services rather than ensuring a quality experience. While the receptionist and technician were friendly, the overall service felt rushed and lacked attention to detail. To make matters worse and my biggest peeve of all, by the time I got home, the polish on my toes had already started to peel, and by this morning (5/30), the clear polish on my hands had completely vanished. Although I didn't opt for gel polish, I expected the regular polish to last at least 24 hours. I really wanted this to be my new nail salon. Unfortunately, today was my 3rd and final time here. Justin did an amazing job on my 1st two sets. I tipped him almost 30% the first time (it was about 27%) and 30% the second time. The first time I go into a nail salon, I am watching like a hawk and will speak up if there's something I don't like. This way, I would hope the next time I can just relax knowing I trust what the nail tech is doing. First two times this was the case. Tonight I don't know what was going on but when my nails were complete I took a look and noticed my natural nail hanging out the side of the acrylic. It was very obvious and he was going to let me walk out like that. Okay, maybe it was an off day or he was tired, it happens. I called it to his attention and he fixed it for me. The major issue is when I went to pay. I don't understand how I paid $50 the last time and recieved my fill, a manicure, fixed 2 broken nails and cut down the acrylics, but this time he charged me $48 for a basic fill. You lost me right there. I get prices vary and go up sometimes but the last time I was here was 12 days ago. Make it Make sense! I'm so disappointed. I have only been here 3 times and on the third visit (oct 25, 19) I was pretty disappointed. The older lady that sits by the window in the back row did my nails and made me bleed. She did not apologize to me. She just ignored it didn't offer me a bandage. Which is why I won't be coming back here. She was pretty rough with the nail drill I felt heat on my cuticles. I also felt like she was rushing with my nails. When she was done she applied cuticle oil with my blood still running, rubbing it in. I just thought that was unhygienic. The second time was alright, I just didn't like the fact that they don't soak off your old set of nails. I was surprised when I felt the pain on my nail beds when they were pulling them off. If I knew that's how they were going to remove them I would have gladly taken them off myself at home. Not pay to have them pulled off that way. That was really painful, and the lady was just smiling doing so. So that was my experience with this business. I don't mind paying anyone the prices they charge. I'm so happy I found this nail shop. Due to COVID, they are staying on top of being very clean and keep everything sanitized. Before entering, you must get a temperature check by one of the employees with signing a waiver that you are physically feeling fine. The nail technicians change their gloves after each client. It is outdoor services but they are definitely prepared with tents and a fan. I came here to get a manicure and I got them done twice by Ruby, and I could not have been more satisfied with her work. On top of that, they have a wide selection of nail polishes for Spring/Summer vibes! Also, I got my lashes done and a refill 2 weeks later by Thuy. She's very sweet and attentive because my lashes look amazing both times! I was sensitive to the regular lash glue when I got a new set (Hybrid); therefore she used a sensitive glue when I got a refill and I did not get any reaction. Since I was so happy with the service the first time, I had to get a pedicure the 2nd time I came! I only had an appointment for my lashes but they squeezed me a pedicure and a manicure fill.
