Whilst getting a oil change near by, figured I'd walk over to classy nails to get pampered up. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a nice gentleman. I was immediately seated and offered a drink. I got acrylic nails because I use my hands a lot. They came out so cute !! And then I came back later to get a pedicure. I recommend the pina colada one although the pineapple was cold lol. One of the male technicians finished with his customer and started working on someone else who came in after me and when I got up to leave the lady stated she was coming now after waiting 20 minutes that's unacceptable. I came here with the boyfriend's mom to get a pedicure while she was getting a French mani done. Overall a clean and super popular establishment, even on a rainy day! I was happy with my pedi and with my nail tech. She thankfully listened to me when I asked her to just file down my nails. I have a trusted nail tech that I go to for my pedis usually because of my ingrown toenail (ew, too much info I know, but some of you guys and gals know what I mean). However, I thought the pedi was a bit on the pricier side, $25. It was your typical spa pedi with a massage chair which I didn't use because we had just gotten massages right before coming in. The only unique thing about the pedi was that my nail tech gave me a hot stone massage on my legs. My bf's mom was pleased with her French mani, which cost $24 I think. Good friendly service...it's not like my regular place back home, but when I'm in the area I'd probably return since it's so close to the parents' house. read more

Yesterday, my mom and I came here to get pedicures, and I was excited because I haven't had one in a while. The ladies that work here were super sweet and super patient with us! (Their attitudes were what saved this review from a 1 star). Anyways, last night, my legs had turned red and stung... I was having an allergic reaction to something they used, which has NEVER happened at any other place after any other pedicure. I give this 3 stars because the girl that did my feet was amazing! My feet feel great but I couldn't give them 5 stars because I also got my nails done & that girl not only took 2 hours for a fill but it's also uneven and all over my fingers. When I asked her to make them thinner she just shaved under the front of my nail. Not sure how they have 5 stars on yelp. Only thing good about this place is price and cleanliness. My manicure took maybe 10 minutes overall and is very very messy. My nails are jagged and uneven and my cuticles are not cut at all. I have been going to Classy Nails for almost 15 years now. I drive there from my home in Mckinney, where there's a number of salons that are closer, because you can't beat their service and attention to detail. I've found that other places don't take time to make sure you get what you pay for, especially when busy. All of the nail technicians are wonderful, and do a great job taking their time and making sure you're satisfied. For pedicures, I particularly like how long they take to scrub the dead skin off your feet until smooth. I also love the hot stone massage that comes with every pedicure. The owner is extremely nice, and is very attentive to customers. They are doing an amazing job making sure they are clean and sanitized per regulations, particularly during this health crisis. I was conflicted on whether or not to give them another star, but only because they do a pretty good French pedi. Their customer service, however, could use some work. Those ladies are so mean! They do not school their emotions at all. They get really frustrated if things get too busy and will rush through your service. If they don't think you've tipped enough or spent enough, their expression will tell you. I once waited 40 minutes for an eyebrow wax and nobody even greeted me or asked what I needed. I walked out. One lady laughed at me when I told her I didn't want to wax my eyebrow, only lip. I keep going back because I feel like their pedis last longer than ones I've had at other salons, but I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth the abuse. My advise is to go at 2pm on a Monday, when they're empty. They actually work for their tip then. read more

I went in for dipping powder and a pedicure. This place is dated. However I was open minded to supporting local business. Let's start with the pedicure. I got the $35 one that was meant to come with callus removal. The nail tech just buffed off the soles of my feet. I asked her to remove callus. She told me No! You don't have any dead skin. It's only for dead skin. I am a nurse and work on my feeet. I know for sure I have callus to be removed. Every pedicure I get that has callus removal always produces callus. The woman just ignored my request even though it was part of pedicure package. I have an overlay on big toe. She wanted to remove it with nail extension. I asked her not to as it would hurt me. I asked her to drill it down instead.l as it is more gentle. She said no it's okay and proceeded to use extension. And as expected it hurt me. So she ended up using drill. This staff don't care about what the customer is saying at all. Now my dipping powered... another bail tech not listening to the request of a customer. I have been doing my nails for years. I understand this is her job and she is a professional but she was visibly annoyed when I saw and asked her to remove hair and glitter particles on my white nails. When I highlighted the glitter so she could remove it she said I'm not yet done. So I patiently waited and when she was done.... the hair and glitter were still there. I again asked her to remove. The nails are all types of lengths. And different shapes. They are also very thick. She applied so many layers. It also took 2 hours to do my nails. That's very long for dipping powder. It took so long because she was not concerned with what the customer wanted but wanted to do her own thing. Another thing is she left such a gap between the cuticle and the dipping powder. Making nail look about a week old. I pointed it out before she finished and she said she would fix it... she didn't and I had to ask her again to fix it. So many problems on this visit. They are good for pedis- if tech gives all items on package... but horrible at dipping powder. Terrible experience and as you can imagine, No tip was left read more

they double dip when waxing..... need i say more? completely disgusting i'm an esthetician myself and knowing that they double dip into the wax really grosses me out. so many diseases that you don't know about going onto an open wound they're creating from waxing. go to a wax person out of a suite that is professional and sanitary. thanks read more

I needed a place nearby and decided to drop by here since I saw the place on the way home, read some of the review and was kind of skeptical about the place but had no time to go to my other place so I decided to go ahead and try this place since it was nearby. Place was nice and clean, seem like they just got a new owner because she seem to come over and checked on the tech from time to time and then introduce she was the new owner and if I had any issue or question to just let her know and she would do her best to make me happy. I've gone here many times (for some reason I keep coming back) and each time has been disappointing. As I write this review, I'm sitting with my feet in lukewarm water, waiting for service. Not only that, I've been here for an HOUR and a 45 minutes. I would've walked out if they hadn't already begun the nails of my friend (who happens to be my ride home). The other customers here are experiencing similar treatment. One woman walked out, furious, for she had been waiting longer than I had!! The staff, without fail, has insulted my skin time after time. I am naturally very pale, with blonde hair and freckles, and the staff consistently tells me how I "need a tan" or "should go out in the sun", and they even recommend spray tanning locations. I find it very rude!! However, I whenever I get my nails done here, they do last very long and the staff does a good job on my nails. read more
