Every member of the staff that I have met was friendly knowledgeable, and cared genuinely about the experience for both my pup and for us. Communications has been excellent. Our dog Blondie looks forward to going 2 to 4 days per week. She always comes home tired which is what we would expect. The facility is excellent and gets better every day. They are constantly improving but, I'm impressed by the diversity of the engagement that the dogs have. They have group play in a room or they can go outside and there's a splash pad which apparently is a big hit. Maybe it's a pool I don't know but it's shallow and the dogs get wet and enjoy it. The staff members we have watched interact with not just our dog, but also with the entire group is a whole and they have always been actively engaged and moving the entire time. We're not talking about a minute or two at a time, they are constantly moving and constantly engaged. It's actually very impressive. I have to call out Omar who did a very difficult nail trim on our pitsky (pit bull - Husky) as the quick of her nail comes out fairly far. It is the best nail trim. She has had to date. No problems whatsoever and he said it was easy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND and wholeheartedly endorse The Dog Stop - Plano as a safe and wonderful place to take your pet for play and grooming. Also they put super cute tiny bows on each side of ears but they are so hard to removed (my dog keep shaking head annoyed by these) the bows are pretty but they have a tiny rubber band attached that doesn't help at all. when removed them the fue was all tangle there. now I will have to cut that part. I recommend just put a bandana if you want to add something to them or change rubber band to a softer one or velcro . We have 2 large dogs and Rita's does not have a large dog or weight restriction. They take all dogs! Walk ins are available for nail trimmings. Usually takes a good 10 minutes, very quick service! Front desk lady is very nice and knowledgeable about double coated dogs. She always gives us tips and we know we can trust them to take good care of our dogs. For longer appointments, such as baths, deshedding, etc.. they do require you to schedule an appointment. Our husky mix always smell so good whenever she gets a bath here. Her fur gets super soft and she comes home wearing a nice bandana. Also, prices here are very affordable. We definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good grooming place for their fur babies!!

WOW! what a fantastic business! Mikael, the owner, truly knows how to serve her customers (pets and…read moreowners)! During our move to McKinney, our fella Leo desperately needed a flea bath. It just happened to be during the weekend of the ice storm and she was unsure of if she would be able to open. She gave me her cell number and told me she would contact me early the day of to keep me posted. Sure enough, Mikael called that morning to inform me she would be opening as normal and would love to take care of Leo. In addition, she explained that she would have a "litter box" set up and some water for him to access while he was there. When I came to pick him up, Mikeal let me come back to see him while she gathered his things. She informed me that she also washed the bedding I had in his cage to prevent any fleas that may have fallen off. I ended up spending some time chatting with her and felt as if we were good friends by the time I left. I sure hope to not return due to fleas- but would absolutely recommend and feel comfortable bringing your furry friend to Ooh La La Pet Spa! What an exceptional example of customer service! Our regular grooming place wasn't available and we really needed our dogs groomed. We made an appointment at 10:30 am. I dropped my 2 small dogs off and told them how I wanted them groomed. The lady at the front desk was okay but seemed like she was annoyed that I was taking up her time. I left to run some errands and wait for them to call and let me know they were ready. At 1pm I still hadn't heard anything so I called. I asked if they were close to being done because I had to go to work. She said "no one told me there was a time schedule with this grooming". Really? It's been almost 3 hours and my dogs were not finished. She then said she would try to get finished. I then said I will come by at 2:30 because I have to go to work. I came back at 2:30 (now 4 hours after I dropped them off) and picked them up. The front desk lady didn't say "sorry for the delay" or acknowledge that it took 4 hours. She is one of those people who really rub you the wrong way and don't seem to care about the customers. Also.... They didn't listen to how I wanted them groomed. Not a big deal, but they made the dogs head "poofy". I specifically said "no poof". I wanted an even, short cut for both dogs, but they didn't listen to me. Last thing.... They put the doggie neckerchiefs on too tight also, I had to cut them off when I got home. Again, it was mostly the lady at the front desk. Because of her, I won't come back.
