Reasons not to take your dog to Amanda for grooming at Stadium Grooming in Allen: 1. Dropped my two small dogs 17 pound shihtzu mixes off at 10:00 am and we're not ready until 4:30 2. They are kept in crates with no opportunity to use the bathroom. A downside of this business. 3. Amanda cut Gracie around her eye w clippers and it is raw and irritated. 4. Amanda did not tell me upfront that she inflicted damage and pain to Gracie's eye area. 5. No one at the register told me my dog was injured w clippers. 6. I called immediately when I got home and saw damage and left voicemail to call me. So far no one has. I want to know what happened and why I was not informed of injury. 7. Amanda should have told me face to face about the injury. 8. The dogs don't even smell clean. read more

DO NOT USE THIS GROOMER. At 9:30 this morning I took Winston, my 4 year old poodle, to this groomer. At 4:00 I get a call that Winston was cut during his grooming and may need stitches. Instead of taking Winston directly to the vet, the groomer called my wife and asked if she would pick him up and take him, even though he was bleeding enough from his neck that he would need stitches. After we arrived at the vet and Winston was examined, he needed 7 stitches in his neck to fix the damage the groomer had done. On top of this when we were checking out at the vet the groomer asked us to pay the bill and then bring them the receipt for which we would be reimbursed. Even the vet thought this was a joke, they let us leave and forced the groomer to wait in the office till she got in touch with her boss for payment. So in conclusion, if you want your dog to have his neck sliced open, this is your place. If you would like a groom, maybe find somewhere besides this super classy establishment. read more

They appeared to be really busy but I give four stars for communication from the phone call making the appt to showing up for the appointment. It just didn't work. Our dogs needed haircuts before we left for a trip and because our vet's groomer was booked, we decided to give Stadium a shot. We were hesitant at first because of the negative reviews and pics, but we're glad everything worked out! Kendalle did a fantastic job and I really appreciated that she listened to the notes about our dogs and went above and beyond with providing excellent customer service. I also loved that she was able to find a work around for 1 of our dogs who has a tendency to get razor burn on his paws. This was the first time in months that our dog was able to come back from the groomer and not lick his paws raw due to irritation. Haircut aside, Kendalle showed a genuine interest in our dogs' wellbeing and made sure they had a great time. She's a top-notch groomer. I have to remove 1 star from my review because of the front desk service. I emailed the vaccination records and a filled out new client form to them a few days prior to our appointment, but when we arrived, the lady couldn't find my new client form. I explained that everything was in the same email, but instead of taking a second to look for it, she had me begin to fill out the paperwork again. Sure enough, not even 10 seconds into filling it out, she found my new client form. No "sorry for wasting your time" or "sorry for the mix up," just silence and moved on. Not only that, but she wasn't the friendliest being in the room. As the first face you see, you'd think someone would smile or show some level of interest in being alive, but nope. Even when we asked her a simple question, we got an expressionless response. Stadium would be a wonderful place and could even be my new regular spot if she wasn't killing the vibe. read more

My doggies love going to see Kendalle. She does a fantastic job with them. My boy Roscoe was skiddish at other groomers they even said he was aggressive but not with Kendalle. She is so patient and kind to the dogs. She listens to what you want done and lets you know how the dogs did throughout the day. I wouldn't take my fur babies anywhere else! read more

Customers beware! Dropped my dog off 15 minutes after opening. They use a dryer kennel to dry your pet. When my dog got home, she drank an entire bowl full of water. She must've been left in the dryer kennel for a very long time. A 10-year-old dog doesn't need that. 4 1/2 hours later my dog was still not completely groomed. Got her home and realized they hadn't taken care of inner ear hair or any sanitary cut areas. After seeing her lick her paws, closer inspection the tops of her paws were bloody from the grooming. I've been taking my cocker spaniel here for a couple years now and they always do such a great job. She can be quite the nervous wreck (AKA pain in the butt) whenever she leaves the house, but while she's getting groomed here they are gentle and patient. It takes skill and heart to be able to deal with fur babies, especially the problem children, and I know they overflow with both while taking care of my pup. I can't recommend them enough! read more

They did a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE JOB grooming my dog. If I could give them a Minus Five I would. Asked for Puppy Cut on the Body and Ears and Tail to be TRIMMED. They Barely Trimmed his ears but SHAVED his long beautiful Fluffy Feathery Tail. This is on a miniature Spaniel. Who shaves a Spaniels tail. I was so horrified when I saw him, I was somewhere between crying and cursing at them but I pulled it together and just left. Here's a visual, imagine: You take your daughter to get a trim but instead they shave her head the day before class pictures. Can someone really say I'm so sorry and make it ok. I think not. Was I offered a Free Cut, a discount, anything?? NOPE Shame on You Guys. I shouldn't have had to pay for the service they did such an Awful Job. I will be sharing this review with my neighborhood site, every social site I can and personally with all of my friends. On the recommendation of a neighbor I took my rescued 1 year old Golden here. She had never been to a groomer and the staff was excellent. Kari was kind enough to call her previous vet (in another state) to get her shot records. Lauren did an excellent job on Lilly and was pleasantly surprised at how docile she was. Dropped my dog off at 10:30am one morning, imagining I'd be able to pick him up around 2 or so. (First note-this is my 3rd time here, first 2 times with great experience, but my doodle was very reluctant to go in this time. (That should've been my first clue that something was off.) At 3 o'clock I called & they said he wasn't done, & that I should come at closing (5 o'clock). I showed up around 4:45 & my dog was maybe halfway done. I decided to sit in the lobby until my doodle was ready to go. None of the workers made any attempt to explain why my dog took 6 1/2 hours to groom, when it was only a wash and trim. (An uneven trim I might add- so my $80 was almost wasted). We have trimmed his nails many times at home with no problem but we watched them clip his nails as he screamed and whines the whole time. If you are genuinely concerned about your dogs behavior, good luck getting any information from them. All I got was "oh he was an angel we loved having him!" I will not be returning here, & I'd recommend you stay away too. read more
