My husband and I are back in Palm Desert for vacation. We couldn't wait to come to our favorite breakfast spot. I'm sorry to say service and food quality has declined here. We were not greeted very pleasantly. The coffee was not hot and the food was lukewarm. The first day we got back we were greeted by Alberto who was super pleasant and attentive. This is a nice little diner that serves breakfast and lunch. We had lunch and it was great. The CJ special burger i had was delicious. Looked up this neighborhood restaurant for breakfast out. It was a great local gem! Everyone dining there seemed to be local retirees and knew the service staff. Breakfast was delicious, came quickly with generous portions and fair prices. We tried the orange and apple juice (the small is easily 12-14 oz with the large being a large water beverage glass for $4!). For breakfast we are the waffle, side of bacon (4 delicious crispy salty pieces), the vegetable omelette with hash browns and added sliced avocado (delicious!), two eggs breakfast with hash browns, and toast, and bagel and lox (very generous portion!).
