Biscuits & Gravy with fried eggs! Half Order
Anna C.

Lovely little locals diner with a great atmosphere. The service was quick and friendly, which we really appreciated. The food was very good overall. The vanilla latte was excellent--nice latte machine! They are known for cinnamon buns and made to order! They didn't disappoint--so make sure to add one to ur order for all to share! Overall, it was a pleasant experience if you're in Palm Springs and want a cute locals diner not touristy.

Fish and chips.

It's been years since we were at CJ's. We were greeted with good service and a friendly environment. We ended up there because I was looking for fish and chips, and CJ's didn't disappoint. I don't know if it's the best in the valley but it was good. My wife has corn beef hash. It was good as were the hash browns. This was a great lunch choice. Can't wait to go back.

One of the BEST hamburgers I've ever had. Come try it yourself & you'll agree!

Top notch service, very personable and friendly. Home cooked food fabulously made to order. A favorite of the locals! Off the bidden path . The BEST hamburger I've eaten in years. Made by request ... home made not just a patty handmade

Went back two days in a row! It was a great place to eat on our trip. Every employee encounter we had there was great. I honestly couldn't say better things. The vibes were there, the food was tasty and loveeedd the iced latte. Overall great experience and would go again...and again.

Service charge disclosure states 8 or more.

Food was good, service was good too but BEWARE the menu states parties of 8 or more pay a 20% service charge. There was 7 of us and when we went to complain the owner said it was wrong that it was six or more even if it wasn't disclosed anywhere. He also stated it was a "law" that 6 or more required 20%. Dishonest owner, and arrogant when approached with our questions. Look elsewhere .

Poor service, cold food, lack of care from management. Would definitely not recommend . Go to Paradise Cove. Great food and service.

For drinks, I ordered the Tipsy Pig Old Fashioned, made with bacon-infused WhistlePig 10-year rye, bitters, and barrel-aged maple syrup. It was really good and a great match for the food. For our meals, I had the Bacon Jalapeño Jam Burger with spicy charred Fresno chile, bacon-infused jalapeño jam, smoked mozzarella, and whiskey caramelized onions. It was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. My mom ordered the Eureka! American with American and Swiss cheese, grilled red onion, lettuce, house pickles, tomato, special sauce, and barbecue bacon, and she really enjoyed it as well. Everything was cooked well, full of flavor, and definitely stood out compared to a lot of other places. It was good enough that we made a point to come back again during the same trip. If you're in the area and in the mood for a solid burger, this is a great spot to check out.

There were a lot of breakfast options, from specialty pancakes and waffles to unique omelets and Mexicandishes like Chilaquiles. I got the Biancasada omelet, which has carne asada, peppers, onions and cheese. It is served with your choice of side (I got potato wedges) and bread (I subbed the grilled peach specialty pancake). The omelet was ok...the carne asada wasn't great and the other ingredients could have been cooked more. The wedges were good, but I didn't like the grilled peach pancake as much as I thought I would and wished I would have got the lemon blueberry. Portions were big, and I took half to go. Hubby got the chorizo con papas omelet with hash browns cooked extra crispy and a buttermilk pancake. The omelet was really good, and the hash browns were cooked well. The pancake was a pancake. They only have Pepsi products, so I went with water, which they refilled well. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and they had Hawaiian music playing. I'd come back to try lunch. It clearly caters to a sophisticated crowd--very similar in vibe to their Calabasas location. While parking is accessible in the rear, it can get congested during peak season. The menu is extensive with plenty of excellent selections, though the pricing is definitely premium. For instance, a Cobb salad topped with fish can easily exceed $45; while the quality is high, that's a significant jump over nearby staples like Daily Grill. Service was friendly but lacked consistency; our server disappeared mid-meal without a hand-off, requiring us to flag down other staff. Overall, it's a bright, airy, and stylish spot well worth a visit, provided you're prepared for the 'luxury' price point.
