My system (2.0) install about 1 year after adding amp and subs now includes a digital signal processor (DSP). A true audiophiles dream, with a high resolution service like Tidal with the LDAC codec, I am now listening at/near studio level quality. While my wait was a little longer than expected, my patience was rewarded with a customer experience that involved tuning, system explanation, and an invite to come back anytime should I want to tweak or adjust settings. Recently, I went to "Transformers Car Audio" on Greenhouse & West Little York (Houston, Tx) to get speakers/speaker box installed in the trunk. Transformers Audio had to take out my trunk liner and run wires from my amplifier to the front of my vehicle. I paid $200.26 for the job with 90 a day warranty on work. When I picked up my car after the 3-4 hr installation, the car wreaked of a very strong smell of gas which was really odd. I mentioned it to the installer guy and he brushed it off. I thought the man installing my stereo probably had some gasoline on his clothes and made my car smell like that, so I didn't think much of it. A week later, my car was still smelling very, very strong of gas. I took it back to "Transformers Car Audio" and they "inspected" my vehicle and tell me there's nothing they can do and say they have no explanation for the stench of gas coming from inside my car/trunk, even though I told them the stench began upon picking up my vehicle from them the very first time. The owner Luis tells me to take the vehicle to a mechanic and let him know what they find because the smell is obvious. So, I take my vehicle to the mechanic later the same week and the man tells me there is a drilled hole with a screw found in the wall of my gas tank, explaining the strong smell of gasoline in my car and my car is not safe to drive until this issue is fixed. I call Luis up & go to the shop to let him know what the mechanic found. Luis gets the address to where the vehicle is at and goes to the mechanic the next morning to see what was found to be the problem. In the end, the mechanic must replace my fuel tank which cost me $700. I take my receipt, the old fuel tank and photos of the faulty work back to "Transformers Car Audio" to be reimbursed and they refuse to pay for the full cost of the damage they caused. I recorded our conversation and Luis offered me $300, then went up to $500 but refused to pay me the full amount that I was out of pocket which was $700. During this week, I had unexplained headaches and nausea and went to the doctor to see if my routine medications needed to be altered. I know now it was due to the toxic gasoline fumes leaking from my tank. After 4 days without a vehicle, having to pay $200.26 for an install that caused more damage to my vehicle & $700 fuel tank replacement...I am out over $900. It's unfair and I will never pick an installation place based on the nearest location again. I have attached photos/proof of the damages. PLEASE SHARE and DON'T GO TO "TRANSFORMERS AUDIO" for your audio needs...!

The second time, I had to replace a headrest on a seat. The owner gave me a phone number for a salvage place that delivered the entire seat to the MR Collision Center. I was charged a minimal fee for installation. Brand new, the headrest for a Genesis would have cost me $630. Altogether, I spent half of that for a used headrest. Great service and well worth your business.
