These guys are crooks. Went in and looked at stereos for my truck. Found what I wanted at a good price, but after dropping my truck off, they started changing the story. These guys are honest and trustworthy. I left my car with them because according to my mechanic there was a problem that would be resolved with a new a/c control unit and aftermarket stereo housing. After their hours of effort, it did not help the problem and so they didn't charge me. Even after ordering the part at the time of $250... I'll be back for future fixes and upgrades for sure. Absolutely no help. Pointed the blame to me when the installer did a poor install job. Brought my truck back in for trouble shooting and they said I have a bad amp "Brand New". I did the exact same trouble shooting the day before and my amp powered up. Somethings not adding up. Guy running the shop seems like a good guy, but still doesn't justify paying 1400$ and receiving a bad install plus now having to buy another amp. If you're knowledgeable, like myself, just buy you're own and install it yourself. Make the time, to save your time. read more

On 12/29/2022, I purchased a Prestige Car Alarm from the Master Audio & Security business at Addicks Satsuma Rd and Highway 6 North, Houston, TX 77084 for $250.00. I've had my car for two (2) years now with no issues what so ever, but after the car alarm was put in my car's battery is now being fully drained (something's wrong with the Starter as well). I cannot start my vehicle without a jump/boost from another vehicle. This has been on going for two (2) weeks now. It is horrible (unfair, inconvenient and plain wrong considering the amount of money that was paid out) for me. If I can get it started in the mornings, then I will need to ask for a boost from someone to get home. A lot of people don't want to assist a motorist when they're in need and for a female it is very unsafe. Master Audio & Security has my money for the alarm, but the product isn't working at all. The alarm not only drains my battery, it also makes my lights blink on and off, while draining my battery and tampering with the 'Starter'. I've done business with Master Audio in the past and purchased two other car alarms for different vehicles which is why I trusted them this time around. I've taken it back to Master Audio & Security to have them check on it but they claim there is no problem from their end. They claim that the alarm isn't draining the battery, etc. It is unfair to me because like I've stated, "I paid them for a properly installed product - $250.00 but I didn't receive the service. I have a screwed up product that is messing up my car working correctly, and no one is attempting to correct the matter. Now I will need to pay out more monies to get this shoddy car alarm product corrected and my car fixed so that it will start up and run correctly. I'm seriously angry and pissed off. Master Audio will never receive my business again. read more

These people will F you if they can. They quoted me $50 per door and trunk to replace vacuum locks w electric. Great. They did the work and told me to come pick it up. When i got there to pickup they told me it was harder than they thought and that it would be $250 per door and $150 for the trunk or close to that. They did not call and check if the price F'n was acceptable or not. Of course i would not have agreed to that gouging and would have passed. Dishonest people here when they feel its in their best interest to be so. Thats what happened. My earlier post used harsher language so they had it taken down. Called to get some speaker adapters, guy on the phone was helpful ( reason for the one star). Business was closing, so wasn't able to pick the up that day. Came in the following day and worker acted as if he couldn't assist me with seeing how these adapters fit and felt like he didn't want to answer any of my questions, but was quick to quote some high prices (reason for not getting anymore stars). Decided to go elsewhere and went down the street to Carro Audio & Tint and the customer service was great and was able to assist me with my questions and concerns an charged me even less! I won't be going to this place! Customer service is paramount, maybe one day they will realize it and won't let $ walk out the door! read more

Thieves and liars! Stuff missing, didn't do anything asked & lied about service performed! BEWARE! Did variety of work on my vehicle stole equiptmebnt and and swapped out others for cheap used replacements deciding to remove things that had nothing wrong. Lied about another service they charged me for and I have a recording of the owner saying, "we didn't touch or cut any of your LED lights" that ininstalled myself days before. When things didn't work correctly, I confronted him and pulled it all out to find different brands, different color, aged, cut, spliced, siliconed and stuffed out of sight with wads of tape that were not there before. Everything this place touched in my vehicle is in worse shape than when I brought it and nothing but a head ache to deal with! Don't waist your time or money here! read more

Horrible customer service and lazy work! They try and get out of helping the issue they caused. Also they tried to blame me for the problem cause I was able to tell them the issue. I told him I touched my speaker a little to see what the issue was, when I did identify the problem and told him what it was due to their incorrect wiring. He goes to tell me that they can't do it cause I voided my warranty? Yeaaah again lazy work , bad customer service! If you want a bang for your buck this is honestly not the place. read more

Got my windows tinted on my truck, spray-in, step bars, alarm, and a bed cover, all as a package deal. My truck looks awesome. Guys did an amazing job on it. Dropped it off in the morning and had it back by the end of the day. Definitely coming back for some bass. read more

Master Audio has always done great work. Excellent at installing the K40 radar system, have had them put it in all my vehicles. If there is ever a problem I bring it right back to them and they fix it usually with no charge. Highly recommend them for any car/audio assistance. read more

Was quoted a completely wrong time. He said it would take 1 hr it ended up taking 3 1/2. Then after my car was finished and I was on my way home I realized my car charger that I paid $20 for was missing and when I went back to the shop all of the mechanics were gone. The manager claims that I never had a charger in the car or that I may have taken it out..Why would I take my car charger out of the car??? Smh They lost some really good business because I have been working on remodeling my car but I will not take my car to anyone who feels that they can just take things out of peoples cars thinking the person wouldn't notice. Shame on them thats all I have to say. read more

Brought my recently purchased car here to get tint installed. No tint was on the car at all so figured it should be a slam dunk easy job. Made appointment and took it in, got it back the same day. I walked around and inspected as best as I could and since it was "curing" they told me not to worry about the haze or any bubbles right now. No biggie I've had TONS of vehicles tinted previously so I knew the drill. Next day I went out to the car and noticed small air bubbles but not normal like I had ever seen, this looked like debris had been caught between window tint and window. Not going to cure. So I brought it back next day and he told me not to worry it would cure over course of next few days. I told him I was doubtful but I waited. 4 days later the ugly small bubbles were still there so brought it back in, he looked and said at first he couldn't see what I was talking about but it was very obvious, he looked around with light and then noticed it. Ok so 3 windows had to be redone. Fine. I made the appointment for next day to drop off and have them redo. Got it back and everything looked fine again. Few days later I noticed the rear window had what appeared to be a line in the tint, so I took it back AGAIN. They were able to get me in the same day and this time I waited. Come to find out there was an actual scratch in my glass on the inside which is why the tint looked like it had a line in it, tint won't adhere to the scratched part of the glass. Only problem is, that scratch wasn't there on the first time around, so I mentioned that to him and he didn't like that. The only thing that would of caused the scratch on that rear window is a razor blade used to remove the tint they had messed up the first time around. Long story short, I now have a scratched window due to their careless rushed jobs that they will refuse to acknowledge! Do not bring your vehicle here at all! It will be nothing but frustration and issues!! read more

Master Audio is a Total 5 Star! I would highly recommend Master Audio for your radio installation. I have used them 4 times and been please with every installation (I did accidentally once use another company. They were crap). My latest installation involved a radio I bought on Amazon and a subwoofer purchased from Master Audio. After the installation I found out that the radio I had bought did not have navigation built in, but required a sat/nav module (my bad). I bought the module (Amazon) and the next weekend it was installed. Shortly thereafter I found out that my radio's audio was defective. They suggested another Pioneer unit, which I bought (from Amazon) and had the old radio removed and replaced with the new radio the following weekend. The new radio is awesome: thanks Master Audio for the suggestion!!! The service is great, the little things they did and their attention to detail is awesome. I spent three weekends in a row at Master Audio getting the radio I wanted and interim trips to get the audio tuned (which turned out to be the defective unit) and not once did I feel that they were done with me and I should move on. This is what I call super customer service. To wrap it up, they called me about 2 weeks after my final install to followup and see if I had any issues with the radio. Again, this is the kind of service you want and will never get from the big box installer. Please keep Master Audio in mind when you are looking for either a radio or a darn good installation of the radio you bought yourself!!! read more

I went here and got a full system for my truck. Screen, subs, speakers, and amp. It sounded like pure garbage after listening to it. Everything.sounded rattly and choppy the music became distorted at a little over half volume. I asked for a quality sounding system for good money spending over 1200 with these guys. What I got was cheap merchandise sold at premium price. A little over two weeks later the fuses blew on the cheap nitro amp that they sold me. I asked for them to honor there warranty and fix or replace it. The guy returned and told me the amp was damaged because of the capacitor I installed which I knew was b.s. and said theyd get me a new one only if I payed shipping and handeling for the amp and then pay full price for the same amp minus the shipping and handeling. I told them I was looking.for a new amp anyways and the guy tried to sell me on another way overpriced amp which I looked up and saw was 170 bucks cheaper elsewhere. I went somewhere else and got a better amp for half the amount he was trying to charge with install (rockford fosgate).i dont usually ever write reviews but this place deserved a bad one and I couldnt stand by and let them get away with it.they lost a good customer and I will recomend to everybody to stay away from this place unless you want to get extremely ripped off!!!!!! read more

I came here for my audio/tint a few years back and my tint just now started to peel since I kept picking at it. I was assigned a time slot at noon for a 45 minute job and arrived on time to dropped off my keys. After an hour and a half later, I found that my truck has not been serviced yet. I'd like to believe that they were short staffed since I only saw two people in the store before the manager arrived from break. As it went on the second hour, my truck was finally serviced and I was irritated by now. However, the manager (maybe owner) noticed my displeasure then promptly took care of me and gave it to me on the house. Apologized and gave me a honest answer that they dropped the ball, instead of beating around the bush. I appreciate honesty and great customer service so I will be returning for an alarm and new speakers soon. Would give a 5 but it's still a two and a half hour wait for a window. read more
