This place is highly unprofessional and low quality work. We went in to upgrade a sound system in our car. However, when we got our car back there was numerous missing, broken pieces on our car, and cut wires. The signals, emergency lights, and auto lock did not work after they installed the sound system. The sound system had a terrible grinding noise as well. We also bought brand new speakers to install and they blew the speakers. They took no accountability for it and instead try to upsell new speakers from the shop. When we asked about the damages the employees denied messing up the car and the speakers and proceeded to say they were professionals and we did it. We spoke to the owner and he said he found the employee that did it but did absolutely nothing and told us we had to come back Monday even though we had no signal lights, emergency lights, and no car locks is highly illegal and not safe. We still had to get the sound system fixed again even after paying Katy kar audio over $2000. Then went to discuss with the owner he was very disrespectful! Worst experience ever! read more

First let me start off saying my family has been coming to Z's shop( the owner) since 2007. They use to do amazing work for a great price but somewhere recently that all changed. They price gouge everything from parts to labor. I was charged $800 for an absolute shit system. Only to go home and find the exact amp & 2 10" subs on Amazon for $220 after taxes. Quality is terrible compared to the 7 other cars we've taken to him over the years for a fraction of the price. Whoever he has running his numbers now is going to run him outta business. I took my vehicle to get the back up camera check out and they start cutting wires and pulling the stuff then tell me I need a new back up camera. The camera still work it just wasn't clicking on when I hit it in reverse. But they started cutting wires and doing work before even discussing with me what needed to be done. I witnessed them cutting the wires then they tied the nerve to tell me we didn't cut anything. I don't trust them. read more

I called the shop to ask if they were open because a few day prior i called 3 times and no one answered. so naturally i ask, "hey are you guys open" The guy proceeded to say, " I answered the phone didn't I ?" He was rude, unprofessional, and condescending. We're in the middle of a pandemic it's a legitimate question to see if you are open, but no this guy obviously is in the business of sales prevention. If I could give this review one stars I would. The other day out of nowhere my car alarm went off for 45 minutes straight and would not stop. Then my car would not turn on. I had to get my car towed to this piece of shit shop and guess what they tell me? It's not the alarm....? Excuse me, what? I then proceeded to ask "did you disconnect the alarm?" Uhh no he did not. Joe literally asked me to come pick up my car because it was a mechanical problem before even trying to see if it was the alarm. So then I have to keep calling back and finally Joe gets back to me and goes "Good news! We disconnected your car alarm and your car starts now, but we don't have that part anymore, so you don't have an alarm on your car anymore". So you are telling me that I spent $500 for a "high end" alarm to only last 3 years? When I arrive to pick up the car get he tells me how rude my Dad was for being upset that the alarm was not working anymore. He also told my Dad this is a low end alarm and that's why it stopped working. So, did you lie when you sold it to us then? Because you told it was high end. Then Joe starts becoming very aggressive and starts raising his voice at me in front of two other employees and I just kept nodding my head because I don't like confrontation and wanted to get out of there, but he just kept going on and on about how disrespectful my Dad was for making Joe own up to his shitty alarm work. And Joe was still claiming that even though my car turned on once he disconnected the alarm, that the alarm was not the problem? I just don't even understand how you can say that. It would been appreciated if he just took ownership for doing a shitty job. I did not even have a Yelp but I was literally shocked at how rude this dumb ass was that I had to make one and warn people not to go here. This place is HORRIBLE. Friendly experience, went in looking for some type of wire for car that other places didn't have and they had it .

I came in bothering these guys a handful of times inquiring about sound systems. I initially thought I wanted what every one considered the norm but was enlightened on better (less pricey) options. I was skeptical at first but after doing some research he was absolutely right. I pulled the trigger. My audio system was installed properly and I couldn't be happier with my setup. I didn't really care for the loud, clear (clarity), kind of music. I'm all about low tones (the bass) essentially. These guys gave me exactly what I needed. I would highly recommend and will be returning again in a few weeks to get some more work done. read more

I went in to ask for a shallow sub for my explorer, The guy i talked with said that shallow subs are for "small cars" only. And my explorer needed a big box and suggested one. Be careful and do your homework I called looking for a DSR1, I was ask what I was trying to do I explained that I was installing an aftermarket amp and he said I do not need it that he can do it without DSR1. Without going into a lot of details on the system in a 2019 Toyota with a JBL factory system, you can not install a aftermarket amp without a DSR1 at this moment, the PAC AMP4 at moment has not been approved at moment for a 2019 model per PAC. Katy Kar Audio were telling me they can do it, here is why it can not (the JBL factory amp is controlled through the canbus which the volume, fade, Left/Right and bluetooth are controlled in the amp not the headunit) the DSR1 is the only thing at this time that has the maestro idatalink interface to work around the JBL AMP, the only other way to add a aftermarket AMP is replacing the headunit and AMP with the maestro idatalink interface. Now if you want a poor boy system you can leave the JBL AMP in vehicle and take the wires speaker out signal from the JBL AMP to an aftermarket DSP then to a aftermarket AMP or straight to a aftermarket AMP, by you doing this you are leaving the factory AMP in the vehicle to control the volume, fade, Left/Right and bluetooth function then depending if you go to a DSP or straight to a aftermarket AMP you are taking the process signal out and thats a poor way of doing this and not what I wanted, All in all do your homework before you let someone sell you components or butcher your vehicle. Long story short research what you want and whats needed so someone dose not steer you in the wrong direction, base on my phone conversation, they may do clean work but they do not do it correctly or did he listen to my needs and said he did not need the DSR1 he can hook the amp without- That's a Red Flag for me. read more

NIGHTMARE!!! DON'T GO THERE!! After waiting for 1 1/2 hours with my family for a window tinting I asked for how much waiting time left and they responded "at least 1 more hour" so a that moment I asked why no one told me before they started that the job could take at least 2 hours to be done, then the guy started yelling me and being really rude, I said a want my car back and the owner pulled me out of the store with my family while it was 91 degrees outside and he said I'd have to wait and pay a full price like it or not, So long story short police came and at the end I have to PAID $50 IN CASH FOR JUST ONE, YES ONE (1) WINDOW. I second that. I got 2 12's, boxes, amp, and 4 door speakers here, cost me about 800 dollars. The sound was decent, but the service was terrible, it seemed like I was interrupting them when I came in to spend 800 dollars, sorry for giving you business. Their installation sucked tho, I couldn't go a month without blowing a fuse and my system would lose a lot of power. My friend recently went there and they improperly installed his stereo, which would go onto protect mode frequently when he was jamming his system. They refused to refund him after 30 days, even though they had worked on it within a month. Overall the owners are ungracious and have no concept of customer service or customer appreciation. They always give me a good deal & work with my budget! They installed 2 12's in my truck, and it sounded great! I eventually switched over to 2 10's and I had them install those too, they deffinately know what they are doing. The only thing I didn't like, is, I got a new car, a 2009 mustang... the box takes up my trunk (nothing they could help me with, I assume.... I will get a new box soon) but they kind of rushed through it.... it sounds good, could be tuned better though... my advice would be to go when they aren't busy. Other than that I havent ran into any problems with them! I deffinately would recommend this place to anyone :) read more
