I bought a brand new 2025 BMW X2 in Feb 2025 and after a few days wondered where the HomeLink system was so I called BMW College Station where I bought it and they told me oh ya that vehicle doesn't come with that. I don't know who at BMW thought that was a good idea but I have a gate and garage door to open so it was important to me. BMW could not would not help me so a friend suggested I try Joe at Maximum that he had done a lot of work for him and done a great job. Maximum T&S is right behind my neighborhood, a five minute drive from a privately owned family business that strives to provide the best customer service. I have come here at least twice and just recently recommended my sister to get her tint done here as well. I always remember great service and really quality work here, so when I recently wrecked my 2012 Camry in the Derecho storm a few weeks ago and had to get a new car, of course, my first thought was to have my tint done here!...I brought my "Twinkletoes 2.0," dropped it off and picked it up same day without an appointment. They DO get busy, but I guess it was my lucky day. I literally wasted NO time to have tint put on my car since this Houston heat is no joke, and summer is HERE ya'll. I got my car back and everything looked great from the outside, but then I drove my car home and found all these black scuffs and stains everywhere, some type of liquid spray material had dripped down the sides of my doors, and a scratch on the driver side floor panel that permanently damaged the plastic guard. I literally had my car for 1 week (brand new), and did not have any passengers in the backseat whatsoever...so I was pretty upset...BUT Maximum T&S handled it like pros! They apologized for the issue and had a meeting with their staff to make sure it doesn't happen again in the future. read more

THE GOOD: Good Customer service, good communication and looks to be an outstanding tint shop. Joe is friendly and seems to be honest. Prices were better than what was quoted at other shops. Was told the install was warrantied for life. THE BAD: This is not a stereo shop. If you need new door speakers or radio replaced, your good. Anything more than that, I would recommend an actual shop that has more of a focus on audio. I will be finishing the install correctly at my house as they didn't even have a saw to cut a board to mount the amps to. (they are currently held in place with Velcro and zip ties) This is after I called out the poor way it was installed when I got there and corrections were made. Not good. Visible wires were zip tied with the rest of the wiring just stuffed under the carpet. Again, not good. Conclusion: I would definitely have them do tint on my car if needed but not any car audio more than a simple deck and speakers. (unless you are ok with a sloppy install) read more

I went on Friday 3/29 to set an appt to have a system installed for Friday 4/6 at 10:30. I arrived at 10:10 and left my truck. They said it would take up to a couple hours. I returned at noon and they hadn't even pulled my truck in. I explained I had appts in the afternoon. The guy said they would come to me in the afternoon to do the install. I waited about 3 1/2 hours before I called but no answer. I texted "Joe" and he didn't respond. I called again a little after 4pm and someone answered but they said they were in the other shop. They said they would call Joe and have him call me immediately. Now it is Saturday afternoon and I still haven't heard anything. Very unprofessional and lacking customer service. Sad part is I have a fleet of vehicles but I can guarantee this place will not get my business. Avoid this place! read more

Before arriving at location we did some research and found that the film used for tinting here is exceptional for any motor vehicles. After reading up on the information we were satisfied and decided to get a quote. They were having a special for 4 door vehicle tint with the choosing of any shades. I called beforehand to get a good price. They quoted $135. Anything darker is an extra $35. I just got all of my windows done at 30% and I opted to wait. It took about an hour in a half HOWEVER they didn't let me know that they were done. I was just sitting waiting and my car was ready. Make sure you stay on them and check in. He has a quaint little shop behind a used auto dealership. He is beyond polite and has a waiting room with a tv and let's you literally pick whatever you want. He also has tons of coupons on yelp! Even calculates which will be cheaper to you! Did a spot on job for a super reasonable price. Even installed my dash cam for me for way cheaper than the other shop I reviewed earlier this year. Quality work, a quality person. Should I ever need to have my truck retinted I will bring it here.
