We recently needed troubleshooting for our home theater system and my husband made numerous attempts to reach someone at Empire for assistance. Calls were not returned and when he did manage to speak with someone about a service appointment, all he could get was "maybe we can stop by on Friday". Not exactly what we expected given the money we initially spent. Needless to say, no one showed up on Friday. We ended up finding another company that not only returned our calls, they sent a tech out a few days later who quickly resolved our issue. Then he went through our system and pointed out some optimizations that, honestly, should have been made during the installation. When you invest in Control4, any updates/changes have to be made through a dealer, so it's extra annoying when the dealer you purchased through no longer wants your business. We look forward to working with our NEW dealer to install additional home automation and home theater components.

We were unfortunately in a bind and had to get our dryer fixed right away and there was a breaker tripped. The diagnosis was basically might be a breaker or a dryer issue so it's 410 (later negotiated to 380) to fix without any other assessment. Lo and behold - all it was a breaker. Took him 30 minutes to replace two breaker switches. Really feeling gouged and next time if I'm not in a bind will get more bids.
