The owner is a great guy and does high quality work for a fair price. I used Car Stereo Plus as a teenager and it was awesome to bring my son there as a teenager for his speakers and subs. The owner even remembered me after 30 plus years!1 Highly recommend read more

The owner is a really nice guy. I came to him previously for audio on one of my other cars had such a great experience that I decided to get my audio done again and also get a dash cam installed. He's always honest and straight to the point, and he got all of my stuff done very quickly at a reasonable price. It looks amazing!! Definitely recommend for audio or any aftermarket stuff. read more

I came to Eddie with my viper alarm issue. He took me in like family, and consulted with me for the best options that would save me money

Imad was amazing. He really did the work to truly diagnose my problem and found me the the most reasonable priced solution to my radio issue ! Had me in and out for a job that would have taken thousands and that dealership. read more

I have to post another big thank you and solid review of this business. The unit they installed earlier in the year, had begun to act up, after a brief demonstration, they decided to reset the unit and try to do a software update. As always, they took their time to check everything thoroughly and make sure nothing was overlooked. I left a happy customer with a stereo working well and no charge. These guys really stand behind their work. I won't guarantee a no charge, but I will highly recommend them for quality of service attention to detail and friendliness. read more

Eddie's team put a head unit, speakers, steering wheel harness and back-up camera in my car. The installation was flawless and it was a pleasure working with Eddie to pick out the components. I highly recommend Car Stereo Plus!!! read more

Fast and friendly service. The owner was very flexible with scheduling and provided excellent customer service. Will definitely go back.

Eddie of Car Stereo Plus has demonstrated through two installations, alarm and then later stereo upgrade, very competitive and transparent pricing. Eddie's installer was efficient and informative of how to operate the product. read more

The owner is great! I was locked out of my vehicle due to my alarm and he was able to provide me with a quick solution free of charge. Great guy and service, definitely coming back for any of my vehicle alarm/stereo needs! read more

The owner has 0 professionalism. While getting an install months ago, I witnessed him disrespect and lie to a returning customer while addressing a speaker issue from past work. They blew out the guys speaker without offering a resolution; He was rude and belittling but I looked over it since it wasn't my issue. Once I returned with the same issue he tried it with me but I wasn't having it. He quoted one price over the phone but raised it when I got there and attempted to argue but I wasn't going for that. TAKE YOUR VEHICLE ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!! PLACE IS SLOPPY, SO IS THE OWNER. THEY HALF DO YOUR MUSIC ONLY TO TRY AND CHARGE MORE TO "DO IT RIGHT". GTFOH!!! PLACE IS SHADY NEXT DOOR TO A SHADY MASSAGE SPOT.. WORST MUSIC PLACE IN HOUSTON read more

Bro this guy hooks you up. He got us done in 30 minutes. He knows what he's talking about and he's been there 32 years. Something came up during the repair and he didn't charge us for it because he understood the assignment. Super nice super friendly definitely recommend read more

Don't go here. Paid more than originally quoted, but they gave me a credit for future. Bad installation and had to go back several times. Accused me of doing something to the back end of deck. And they smoked in my car while on one of the return trips. read more

The owner is super rude and tries to take advantage of you if you're not knowledgeable. especially if you're a woman. They really scratched up my car which made me really upset as it's a brand new car, their work is super sloppy and you can tell they don't care. I wished I didn't bring my car here, I feel so stupid. read more

I took my older Jeep Wrangler TJ to Eddie just yesterday (Jan 5, 2023) just to get a quote on an updated radio that would have blue tooth options and maybe some new speakers. After speaking with Eddie for a few minutes, he was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Eddie advised me he could install marine rated speakers and radio (Kenwood all around) that same day and for a truly competitive price. I have been more than satisfied with what Eddie and his crew installed in less than an hour. Eddie's follow up has been very thorough. He walked me through the radio's options and set up, also he called me after I drove away from his shop to thank me and to check if the blue tooth was working to make sure phone calls worked. Best install I could have asked for given what we use our Jeep TJ for. Plus my daughter was so excited to be able to connect her phone and play her own music. This install was really the best final upgrade for our old Jeep. Thanks so much Eddie, your 33 plus years of being in business truly shows! If I ever need more car audio installs I will come to your shop! Thank you again! read more

Great experience at this shop. I've read some reviews that speak negative about the owner, Eddie. I feel like he's just misunderstood. He's a very blunt/passionate guy that give you the straight forward truth. I've also read some reviews that feel like they're expensive, my response to that is, "you get what you pay for." I had work done at another shop (cheaper than CSP price quote), long story made short, they corrected the problem, so I ended up wasting money trying to get a cheaper price. This is now my custom car shop. I'd definitely recommend them. If you're my friend/family, I'll go to the shop with you. Grade A+ work. read more

All in the same day not non of that come back tomorrow mess, when I picked up my car the guy who installed the stereo was very nice and professional showing me how to operate it etc and made sure I was satisfied and that everything was working, seriously give this guys a try upfront and honest!! Thank you again! I will be a returning customer for Sure. read more

I have been going to Car Stereo Plus for several years now. They installed a new stereo in my 2002 Toyota Tacoma without a hitch, making my life much easier with bluetooth capabilities. I'm very happy with their service. I recently had a new alarm installed as my old one started acting up. They installed it in an hour. I highly recommend this place. Fred read more

Mr. Imad quoted me back in 12/18, for an quote install of a Pioneer AVIC-5201NEX into a 2013 Scion TC. Also requested was a backup camera to come on in reverse. I didn't get the work done until much later, specifically today, 8/7/2019. He honored the quote from back then, but also had to add on an additional price, because the degree of difficulty in install the backup camera, to make it look OEM, per my request, along with me missing a few parts needed. The cost was still within my range, and I was pleased. Mr. Imad was a very accommodating gentlemen, and verified, and called even a specialist when there was an issue with the install with the subwoofer wasn't getting power. He stated that I may have to purchase an aftermarket, if it didn't work, but took the time to call and verify, and behold, it was not necessary, saving me both time and money, and headaches for the both of us. Marco did a fine job on my install, and took the time to go through the process of my new unit. I am please with the overall experience, and being that I was the only customer for day, I really had a good conversation about life, our upraising, culture, and family with Mr. Imad. I trust the work and craftsmanship that Mr. Imad and Marco supplied at his place of business and would take upon myself to bring my future car and product installation here, even if it is a drive. (coming from Humble) I was not disappointed and you won't be as well. Thank you. https://media.giphy.com/media/d4aUGThYq9xP57UI/giphy.gif read more

They got me in the same day I called to set up an appointment, and their customer service is excellent. These guys are authorized installers for a variety of name-brand products, and have been in business for MANY years. With that said, I can't say that my install went over without a hitch, but they're eager to make it right for the customer, and that goes a long way with me. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again. read more

I took two of my vehicles here and they got it done quick and diligently. My Ram never looked better. Great prices and even better customer service. They offer different qualities of tint which is perfect if you don't want to spend as much. After speaking with them on the phone, I was able to stop by on a Monday morning and have my stereo installed swiftly. Eddie, who was very professional and cordial, mentioned that they also do keyless remote installs and repairs. Since I had intended to get around to taking my truck in for problems with the locks, I had them take care of it on the spot. Eddie even called me a few days later to make sure everything was operating ok. Delighted to know I can depend on these folks in the future for any such needs. Terrific experience! read more

Buyer beware. My husband spent $700 plus for a basic Kenwood car stereo and backup camera to be installed several years ago. The camera just broke so we bought a replacement of the same camera and my husband went to install it today. At one time he was a commercial electrician so he knows his way around wiring. But instead of being able to swap the new camera of the same make that we purchased, he found out that a cheaper, inferior camera was installed. Wow! What a scam. We got the paperwork and packaging of a Kenwood but they installed some cheap, inferior piece of _ _ _ _. If we still lived in Houston, I'd be in their shop first thing in the morning screaming. Luckily, we have moved out of state. Do not trust these low life people. Try to be sure that they are really installing the equipment that you are paying for. read more

All I had was one blown door speaker. Nothing too involved. But all I wanted was a replacement speaker of the same quality. I did not need a new sound system. Eddie was helpful, not pushy. He made it a point to let me know exactly what he was doing. He asked me what I wanted instead of trying to up sell me. Then he performed only what I required. It was done quickly and at what I would consider a fair price. There's a little couch and tv for you while you wait. But I mostly just chatted with Eddie as he was very helpful explaining what they were doing. I'd certainly come back. read more

I scouted for hours looking for the best price but quality stereo I found Car stereo plus beat a them all. Eddie gave me option to choose and he was not pushy at all. This is one of the best stores I've ever been to. I called at 6:10 to ask if I could come over to see if they could put a radio and speakers in my 1996 jeep Cherokee. He said "yeah come on down." I arrived at roughly 6:25 (they close at 7) and he did a quick little inspection and he said they would be able to get me hooked up with something, I asked for prices and his prices were very competitive. I said I guess I'll come back tomorrow and get this done since there was only about 20 minutes until they close, he said they'll gladly do it right now. Who can resist the right price and right now. I got the work done obviously and was probably out of there at 7:20. These gentlemen gladly stayed late to help me. Kudos to them would give 11/10 stars. read more

I wish I could give this guy one less star . I came in for an amp converter to connect to my factory radio. After we talked, I agreed to have him LOOK at my truck and he kinda tricked me into pulling into his garage where he proceeded to do all the work. This was fine I suppose as I'm sure there were a few things that would've take me a longer time. What really pissed me off! He tried to sell me on some new speakers. I told him idk how long I would have the truck for and I'd let him know. He tried to trick me into thinking my factory speakers were complete crap by tuning my Highs all the way down, so all I heard was bass. Also he tried to sell me $30 speakers for $100. This guy is a sleaze ball. Avoid and save yourself some Serious cash. read more

I had been dealing with Car Stereo Plus since 1994. All my alarm security, audio and tint were bought from this company and they always deliver. They have good prices and excellent warranty service. Even after the Google and the Internet shopping revolution, I still find them very reasonable. So check these guys before you visit a big box store or before you buy from the internet. read more

I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. The owner of the place, an older gentleman will give you a quote for the service you need but will raise up the price really high when it's all said and done. read more

Purchased my car stereo here about 6 months ago. Specified that I wanted blue tooth and XM capabilities, but was open to options as far as the brand and model. We found one I like and I was quoted a price. They installed and I came back and was asked to pay a totally different price. What was worse- XM didn't work. When I returned to ask about this I was told I needed to buy a special XM tuner. At this point I knew I had been taken advantage of. I googled the JVC they sold me and found that they charged me double retail value (plus installation). I swore I would never come back. Unfortunately today I came back because my Bluetooth isn't connecting. Instead of looking at the problem right away I'm sitting here waiting to see if maybe they can help me. Ladies especially- please avoid this place. I get the impression that Eddie, the salesman/owner doesn't take me seriously and saw me as an easy target. read more

Great service here!! Really know what they're doing and I also got my new radio system installed within 45 minutes of being there
